  1. You can change any pool power sets aswell, so if you took teleport and didn't like it you could change to take Super Jump instead.

Worth finding a hero builder program to check what you want to spec out otherwise you'll either spend ages stood about in game trying to get just right or risk messing up your character.

The respec basically wipes all your powers and lets you go through the levelling up process without doing all the missions inbetween.

Did this yesterday and am so far happy with the result.
  2. I like the flamethrower mainly because of all the times the longbow teamed up against my bots to send them back to the workshop as smouldering piles of slag.

Can't speak for the seeker bots as Im not quite there yet...

So was I but somebody pm'd a dev about it and apparentlly the inf badges are for total earnt, not held at any one time.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yep I currently have over a million Infamy but most of that has come from selling enhancements so I guess it doesn't count as 'earnt' since I haven't got the bling badge yet

    NEED HELP

If you have the Lorekeeper badge you could hunt down the Archmage on the southern edge of Potters field I think you can just get missions by talking to him and don't need to be introduced (I could be wrong) If you have the bling badge then hunt down the other special contact some kind of Vahsilisk doctor type although can't think where she is off the top of my head.

Of course you could just skip sharkhead and move onto Nerva you should be able to get through all the contacts there.

    suicidal minions

Not managed to pin down one suicidal bot they seem to take turns, I have been trying to train them by using the goto to bring any running off back in line and that seems to work to some extent, when two drones and the assualt bot run off together though its more annoying. Im less concerned about the assualt bot he can handle himself most of the time but the drones insist on running up right next to any freakshow bosses so he can one hit them

I originally thought it was a reasonably effective way of stopping ranged attacks by engaging the target in melee attacks but with all the toggle powers I have running it became more of a pain to resummon and the sacrificial lamb after any battles.

    Leadership

I have the assault and manouvers powers and really notice the difference when they are not active (bots dying more frequently and battles take longer), although I would agree that they drain the amount of endurance I am accumulating even with reduce endurance going to do a respec soon (and take the reward this time ) and work some fitness powers into my build.

Went to Sirens call the other night and by pretty much standing around the swarm points the villains were winning all the time. It was quiet so no actual heroes were around else that would not have lasted long...
  7. I take it the other participants here have higher level alts and with that in mind I was curious to know if the Siren's Call event(s) at 8:30pm on Wednesday 14th would impact this meeting in any way? rescheduled/cut short or carry on regardless....

My mastermind doesn't fare well in PVP as a rule but if others are planning on beating down Rockjaw I don't want to be wandering around a deserted Arena all night
  8. Yep figured that was what happened, still got my old newspaper mission to do and spoke to the radio who gave me the first part of a virus mission against the lost.

Then went back to the arbiter to logout which is where I will strive to be at 7pm next Wednesday.
  9. Right Cameron Cold (Decided he isn't as bad as I thought) is now just over level 10 and waiting by the arbiter next to the arena, I have taken Mr Bocor as my first contact and am ready to take the sea witch mission if that is next on the agenda.

I shall be ready at 7pm prompt.
  10. Sorry again, I never would have imagined that making time for one evening a week would be this challenging.

Characters name is Cameron Cold (its a rubbish name yes) and I think he may desperately need a costume change... In fact now that I think about it I might quickly create a better character but if I don't I will do everything I can to get Cameron to the Arena next Wednesday.

Currently a respectable base growing as members bring in the prestige, looking to involve members in various events such as arena battles, PVP events, team quests and giant monster fighting among other things.

Check the websites if interested and send any existing members a tell to get an invite. The only thing we ask is to play in SG mode to contribute prestige for base building.
  12. Missed out on this last week as went to see Lee Evans but it seems I didn't miss much...

I have got an Ice/Rad corrupter together I think its just below lvl 6 currently with that rad power you specified, but should be able to make this coming wednesday, what lvl are the rest of you at right now?
  13. Looking at experimenting with another Villain, and the corruptor sounds like it might be quite interesting, problem is the times I can be online are sometimes a bit unpredictable since I work shifts and if I play too much my girlfriend starts to look all forlorn.

Since you seem to be levelling up quite slowly, or at least not as quickly as I have been trying to if I can get a corruptor created and upto the required level would I be able to join even if I'm not always going to be able to make the meetings?
  14. Firstly excuse this post for not having the correct names for any of the npc's, some of the order of events may be slightly confused aswell I have been paying this a lot over the last few days.

I wasn't sure about the PVP aspect but I play at pretty random times of the day and took my first mssion from the general and wandered into the bay to seek out the operator he had told me about, a few superjumps later and I took a mission to debuff hero or buff villains I don't really remember. After doing all this I left the zone and went back to the arachnos general guy told me to see the contact so I ignored him and went back to the paper, built up some credit with my broker and after another casino raid i was introduced to the golden roller, and went on some more PVE missions.

Checked in with the arachnos general guy and having paid a little closer attention followed the mission link to a Kalinda style contact standing just beside the Bloody bay coptor, just by talking to this person who warned me about the dangers of PVP I got a bunch of experience, I then returned to arachnos general to complete the 'mission' and got another pile of experience. Then he wanted to give me the timed rocket pack mission which I declined cos that had levelled me up and I was logging off. Felt a bit silly for going in bloody bay atall and put it behind me.

Very early Friday morning (figureing it would be quiet) I wanted to explore Bloody bay some more and took the evil scientist meteor shard mission collected all my shards and then started trying to take down a firebase on my own which I think is probably not achievable before a couple of heroes turned up killed me and stole my shards, I don't remember their names but I think one of them belonged to S.U.P.E.R teamed up with another recently killed villain and got killed again, since I had already lost my shards it didn't concern me that much especially realising no debt had been awarded. Tried to avoid the heroes but they had a flying spotter but they must have got bored or not noticed us slip out around the perimiter. We collected the shards again and then found another villain who had discovered a 'soft' firebase which we managed to destroy three times so we each got our shiva shard, returned to the contact and got the temporary power to summon shivan. It was good fun although I appreciate annoying tactics as mentioned would make anyone bitter.

Sorry if I have taken my time getting here but my point is if I keep playing through all my other contacts will they all start default to sending me to bloody bay or just the normal 'we have no more ground to cover' message and did the contact just next to the helicopter not complete the visit bloody bay mission for anyone else?
