Good question.. I wonder if anyone knows.. Cause for the death of me I cant imagine why anyone would want to convert influence to prestige.. 
Well i can enlighten you on that:
I'm a badge [censored]. Theres 3 epic badges for earning influence that I eventually wanna get. To do this i need to stay out of SG mode as theres no inf game while in SG mode for a level 50.
I also want to contribute to my sg tho and hence need to convert inf. However, I want the ungratefull buggers to know that i'm still actually pulling my weight and hence was wondering if converted inf shows up in your prestige total..

I think you'd be even more popular if you'd donate the inf straight to the low lvl ungrateful buggers 
But to each his own or how you say that in english
btw.. I was under the impression that the inf badges come from owning x amount inf at the same time, not the total amount earned.. If that's the case you have even less reason to convert inf..
So was I but somebody pm'd a dev about it and apparentlly the inf badges are for total earnt, not held at any one time.

AFAIK, when I transfered Inf-Prest, it didn't show up on my total. Mine 'should' be 40k higher. Can't remember though whether I was in SG mode at the time or not

Yep I currently have over a million Infamy but most of that has come from selling enhancements so I guess it doesn't count as 'earnt' since I haven't got the bling badge yet

I have a hunch that these badges may not have been always working as they were meant to be, but I tend to agree on the "total earnt" part.
I know for a fact I got the sensation badge the moment my inf account dinged 10 million inf (at the same time). But that was long time ago and they might have been bugged then.
On comparison I know I have never had 50 mil inf at the same time and I do have superstar badge(50 mil inf badge).
AND for some reason, I got trendsetter (100 mil inf) some time ago immediately after logging into the game, not when I was earning inf.. That made me raise an eyebrow and wonder.
it dose show but the sg tab is slow to update so dont expect it to apear strait away give it about 10 min
i made a point of checking with my lvl50 so it dose work just an amazingly [censored] exchange rate thats all

if you convert influence to prestige does it get added to the amount of prestige youve earnt and displaye din the sg window?
