Actually, I think Fort Trident should use the Vindicators' base map (I forget which villain arc it is, but you plow through almost all of the Vindicators, and there are Longbow in offices with computers and other neat stuff). THAT, to me, has always been my visualization for what FT should look like. And oh yeah... it should be in IP. Not Atlas.
The Crucible, by comparison, should be something similar but Arachnos in flavor. Like one of the instanced Arachnos maps where they have their shooting range, the weapons niches, the computer bays, etc... Hell, even that underground map where you fight Wrath and something and something else while Arachnos minions watch. (You can leave it in Mercy, that's cool.)
As for where we get our A-merits? Supercomputer of some kind. Something big, impressive, that bleeps and looks like it's capable of storing power of amazing capability. With all the nifty stuff we can stick in a base, something like that should be used for A-merits.
ANYWAY... back to B.O.T.L.E.R.:
I wonder if he's the result of Posi tying one on the night before with Synapse, Manticore, Foreshadow, and the gang, and then having to explain to Statesman the following day what the hell he built after losing a round in Truth or Dare.

There's some gorgeous stuff around redside, and yes, hitting the plaques/badges will show you a lot of it.
Warning though, as you go zooming through Cap... BIG RED ELECTRIC THING. Do not taunt Happy Big Red Electric Thing. (Not more than once, anyway.)
Check out the Abandoned Monkey Fight Club on Sharkhead (it's near the Natural store, IIRC)... the Abyss is also neat. The Fab is impressive (though I wish they'd do more with the place)...
Crey's holdings in Nerva are spiffy (and thoroughly investigate Agincourt when you can do so without getting shot out of the sky).
And should you find something scenic that's really impressive, let me know - I'm always looking for film locales!

I enjoyed it a lot. Then again, it's hard not to like an arc where my first comment upon zoning into the first mish is, "Screw the arc, I just wanna FILM this!!!"
And especially for my former Vanguard scientist, beating the crap out of Holtz and reclaiming the Honoree was one of her Crowning Moments of Awesome. (Especially when she and her HVAS went to town on the Rikti...) I was totally cheering her on.

I've heard both the edited and unedited version on the radio over the years, depending on which station was playing it. (I remember getting into an argument with a friend that the version we were listening to at the time was edited, and he'd never heard that verse before. Suffice to say, when I played the CD for him at my apt, he was more than a little surprised.)
There are far more offensive songs out there that DON'T need to use terms like these that I'd rather have banned, but I can just as easily not listen to those stations or songs if I so choose.

I do like the idea of chucking some of my 'outtakes' in this one after the credits (I might even still have a couple from when I was filming INCARNATE, and the voiceacting went a bit... wonky).
I also like the idea of a poll for the Top 7 "fill in the category", if I can decide what they should be.

Well, Year 6 sort of already includes that - it takes you through all the issues in the game, and you can see what's been added as you go (apart from the anachronistic segments showing stuff out of order, but no one's perfect)...

I made one for Year 5, I made one for Year 6. Now we're up to the 7th anniversary of COH... and I'm at a loss. I contacted our esteemed overlord War Witch to ask her if there was something in particular she'd like to see as the theme, and her preferences were:
First: people coming together as a united front, supporting each other, and taking on much larger foes...
Second: the "lighter side of CITY OF HEROES"... in other words, humour.
But I'm STILL at a loss!
I could probably do CoVideoHell as the Year 7 video, for sheer humour and snark, but I don't know... (although a lot of folks who follow me on Twitter said they'd like to see humour for Year 7 as well.)
The playerbase was a great help for Year 5's vid because so many folks contributed to my 'Backstory' thread. So I'm turning to you guys again.
Following either of WW's suggestions, what would you like to see in a 7th Anniversary Video for COH?
(And yes, I'm sure that Black Pebble and the Creative Services team are going to do their own vid, too, and with their recent raising of the bar, I doubt I'll match it... but it's tradition.)

Saw it in 2d. Went expecting a campy popcorn flick, and got it. (And I admit it, I went to see Jay Chou, aka Kato - and no, I had no idea he was this huge music/acting star in the Asian arts world.) Went with hubby and other gaming friends, and it was a hoot, reminding John and me of some of our Champions RPG games of days past. I'm not a Seth Rogen fan, nor have I really seen any of his stuff, so no preconceived notions about him going into it. All in all, I thought it was fun.
