I'm still storyboarding out the teaser, so it's only just now taking shape in my head. (I got the music, though!)

Once this thing is a bit more defined, I'll let you guys know what I need. And don't worry, Redlynne, I've got your democode. You'll be in there somewhere.

I-21 looks like it has the opportunity to be HUGE... so, yeah, I'm caving on my resolution to not do ads for the game anymore.

As always, help is appreciated - if you're willing to join my impromptu extras/costume design/film crew, please let me know. The bulk of my filming is done on Justice (where my 50s and my MMs are). And I will do my best to include actual players instead of just using ya'll as body doubles. (No promises, though.)

First up is the teaser - this is my take on what I think I-21 will look like, and no, it breaks no NDAs coz I know nothing more than what the devs/mods tell everyone, and I don't have access to closed beta or anything. (So filming Time Manipulation is gonna be ALL guesswork.)

Hey, I don't mind if others use this thread to post similar effects/democode questions. I'm sure other folks have gone, "How the hell have they done that?!" when it comes to vids, or want to know a weapon code, or somesuch.

ARGH!

You nailed it, El... The original jounin has ONE katana across his back... the upgraded has TWO. But of ALL the mastermind upgrades, that is one of the ONLY ones that involves a separate FX on the model, rather than modifying the model itself (like the bandana on the Commando, for example).

I feel like such an IDIOT. But then again, I've never gotten a Ninja MM that high, either!

This is driving me mad. Now I know that demoediting can manage some nifty stuff, but I can NOT find out how Aralcox pulled this one off. It's gotta be in-game SOMEWHERE.

Somehow he managed to get a character to have a katana slung across her back, the way Valkyrie has that spear. But I've demorecorded Valkyrie, and that's apparently part of her default costume. So no command for it.

Do any other NPCs have this? High ranking Ninja mooks? ANYTHING that hs a weapon of any type slung across its back? (Coz replacing the Weapon FX isn't that hard.) I have looked and looked, and I cannot find it.

NOTE: Aralcox first uploaded NIGHT PRAYERS (this vid) in Nov 2007... so right before issue 11. That's not to say the same effect hasn't appeared since then in other models, but whatever it was, it's been around since BEFORE Nov 2007.

Yes. You need to assign it a health value. Add the following lines for each fire, replacing XXX with the relevant object number:

0 XXX HP 150.00
0 XXX HPMAX 150.00

This is because fire is a destructible object.

For flames at half-level, drop the HP (NOT the HPMAX) down to 75 or less.

Yes, the moment Angela Bassett opened her mouth and introduced herself as Amanda Waller, I went "YES!" and John looked at me like, "What?" (He's not a big DC fan.) It'd be neat if Project Cadmus became the cohesive thread thru the DC films the way SHIELD is to Marvel.

Did anyone else laugh to hear Clancy Brown voicing Parallax? (Hearing the Kurgan voicing, as Psynder13 refers to it, the giant poop cloud was surreal to say the least... especially since he also voices Lex Luthor in the JL/JLU animated series.)

And now that someone mentions it... yeah, I could see Ryan Reynolds playing Wally West.

I collect TSFH's stuff, along with Immediate Music, X-Ray Dog, Pfeifer Broz, Brand X Music, and several of the other leading producers of 'incidental' or 'trailer' music. It's invaluable when I write, because unlike film scores, I don't see the 'movie' in my head as I'm listening.
