i think everyone has a Underdog, Mine was my Fiery/Fiery Brute. Started my brute back at the end of 2008 (Before every second brute you see is a /Fire farming toon) i've spent a lot of time over the last 4 year on that brute.....how much time? ....let me check....4104 hours HOLY CRAP.....wait how many months is 4104 hour?..... DAM...over 5 months.

I hated that toon when i rolled it and i don't even remember why I rolled it. hated how Greater Fire Sword sounded but now i've come to love it, hated how Fiery seemed soft for a armor set now i can stand toe to toe with rooms full of mobs and melt face.

Since than he's became my main and no new toon can replace or live up to the level of fun i have with that brute

yeah she said something about getting her old PC outta her mother in laws garage and setting it up...just hope she hurries back.

I guess it boils down to a stalker being a thinking persons AT... you gonna know when to strike and who for the greatest affect on the battle.

it's not every persons cuppa tea but if you don't know your role than your out luck teaming

the greatest team i've ever been in was with @Elf Stalker and @Smack ...Both on stalkers and both on a vent server with me communicating who and what there gonna take down.

a good stalker can break the bounds of the AT

that's what i think anyway

now i've talked to alot of people on champion about why they don't take ice over any other set and it comes down to mostly that ice "Looks Crap"

i can understand in 2006 that is all they could do to make ice look better but in 2010 with GR coming out and the change to the graphics engine why can't they do something to make Ice armor look more fitting

If Iceman looked like a ice tanker he would of got killed off of the X-men comics the issue he got put in

Dev's its time to redo the look of Ice Armor

Ok Making this simple.......Why Take Ice Armor......Now my main is a Ice/SS so i'm not hating on ice i'm just asking all the Ice Armors out there why Take Ice over any other Primary? I'm also asking this cause i feel like the only Ice tanker on any server anywhere some times.

Ok i love my brutes and i'm sick of hearing that brutes dont cut the grade in pvp anymore

i can agree on a purpled out build isn't always best net, i mean my 2 leaders dont have a single purple in them.

but if the market keeps going down like this than even the cheaper recipes will sky rocket.

i helped a vg member the other day by giving him a set of io's which he needed for a build, i asked him how much does it cost for that set of recipes and he replied.....well i cant really type it i'll be reported.

the point is that the market is getting stupid

there is no one doing normal missions

the AE babies PL and thats all they know and i hope with the nerfing of AE that it will force them to play the game and inturn the market prices will go down

I gotta agree with elf, everyone and COFFEE CRAZED WIVES too

the game is becoming insanely difficult too IO a toon

i took 3 months off the game while i moved and when i came back the game i love had changed for the worse

when i left people did AE for fun, i come back and you even murmur AE and AE babys come out like Cockroaches after someone turned the light of in the blood kitchen

i got back on and i decided i wanted a badge hunter on blue side and i spent 2 weeks making builds and seeing how much each would cost to build and i almost **** my pants.......300 million for a set of touch of death......WTF had happened to the game.

i settled on an Ice/SS tanker to lead Nova Delta Force and also as my badge hunter only cause the build fully IO'ed was only about 300 million at the most

but as i got to 50 i found something else has happened, you even mention TANKER in atlas or even walk into atlas un hidden AE babies would jump you and hump your leg. it seemed in only 1 month our little AE cockroach problem had gotten worse

and to make things worse my 2ic's Might and Zo decided to quit the game all together

i'm sorry to say that if the DEV's dont GET A COCKY BOMB AND BLOW THE BLOODY KITCHEN UP more veteran players will decided to spend there 10 dollars a month else where

now

the market is beyond **** out the *** and i have on fix to the problem and some of you suggested it too.....INCREASE THE DROP RATE ON NORMAL MISHES

as for the PvP WTF is with all the nerfs i agree on the point that it's getting beyond ******** about the nerfs, i mean ok my spines stalker cant hit or take down a tanker now but at one point i could at least go toe to toe with any tanker or scrapper and at least last 10 rounds. Stop nerfing **** that isn't broken

i love this game and ok i may think heroes are whining little brats but i still play heroes as well, you need to fix things before we all decide that this game should go into the to hard basket

ok heres what i have to say

i got a lvl 50 ice/ss tanker, on a AE farm helpinh my SG i can take (Or not in this case) a lot of hits but my damage isnt all that i want it to be even with double stacking rage

my lvl 50 Fire/fire Brute, i can take some damage but have to put heal on auto sometimes but my damage is insane

the difference to me is more defence/less damage or more damage/less defence

as for TANKING a brute can take damage but not as much as a tank can but if your Invul or Stone your a monster for taking damage

tankers control aggro, brutes control aggro

is there a difference?

you tell me but i can out tank anything heroes has to offer on my invul and stone brute
and to me standing in front of rommie taunting him to the crap while the weak little heroes go to hosp it is all i need to know

can brutes tank? it's all on the skill of the player behind the toon

Brutes can tank as well as if not equal with tankers DEPENDING ON THE ARMOR SET YOU CHOOSE

i have a fire/fire, i made him for fun as my first villain. he can take some damage but his nac comes in drilling a group of bosses with as much damage as he can hammer.

now my ss/stone and ss/invul are different, they can take a crap load of damage and deal a hell of alot too

but i'd hate to get into the "I'm a AE baby PL me" word of battles in this thread but the man asked what would be good for pvp and even tho he may have made his toon and got it to 50 already i'd say ss/fire or ss/wp

my Level 50 Fire/Fire is a AV monster, the amount of damage output is insane with fury maxed

good AOE's

and if you take a Immob like Web Envelope you can add burn to that too

gotta say it's about bloody time too, that means i can respec my wife's EM/Elec and my homie silvers ss/elec for them and help IO out but i'm a little iffy about heroes getting it earlier
