  1. TBH it fails. That def is not high enough to counter the games hit RNG. Why are you going for def on a res set when you have so little res? 50% rechage lolwut that is ubber low. That toon will be about as useful as this cam.

    Spines/Regen

How would you not take health and stam. regen scrappers need regen hints health for more regen. and spines is a hella bad with end. so why not take stam?
trust me Mr. I have 15 lvl 50s me and someone have over 40+ each so we kind of know what we are talking about so you can just stfu no one cares about how high your post count is if your post are rubbish

    Dark/SR

SM is slow but it is a place to fit a nice set and the FotG proc is very nice when fighting some stuff. Plus for AV killing you might want to look at a /SD for AAO and the extra res
  4. Aid self, I have never ever had to use that on any of my /sd or /sr scrappers. might look into picking up a set like hasten and ss for a travel power plus you can always put botz in SS. other than that I would rip it apart and start from scratch and try again

It's ok. They are just getting a new hamster to run the server. Too many role players in Nova Praetoria are suckin up the server resources.

I don't know what you are wanting to do with your brute but there ^^ is a build with soft capped def w/o PF running

Also if you are wanting to run soul drain as a tohit put the Gaussian and swap a set of Mako's for Touch of Death. and you can squeek by w/o the glad proc

That is what I thought too .. but I put a bid up for 2b and ended up gettin it about a week later. I was shocked at how fast I got it

Not bad but one thing that I learned from building my DM/SD scrapper it is very nice to have at least soft capped def which in the case of the shield would be the positional def at 45% you will see alot of diff in the tankage once you do. swapping the purples for some sets with more def on them could be a good thing. or a quick phurchace of a Glad Armor proc and a Steadfast proc will give you a quick 6% def to all

Now on to siphon life, The best way I have found to do it is 6 HOs 3 Nucleolus and 3 Golgi. It really helps you stay alive. Seeing how my scrapper has 160% recharge you might need to change the slotting so you can get it to come back faster.

Far as SM goes it is nice having all 6 geddons in it but I liked it better when I dropped one for the Furry of the Glad proc

Also in AD you might want to put a Membrane so you get a better -def res

I really doubt you will have any problem with end so you can drop the DC which would free up a spot for Hasten. If you do see that you are having end problems you can put Ribos in Tough.

So the one thing I would really say is to take full advantage of the HOs in a build like that they can help out a ton.

5x geddons and 1x Furry of the glad proc and it is lovely, that is if you have the money to spend

^^ like I said I will use it as a filler for a nice purple set and also a furry of the glad proc for when I am pvpin a inv or a res based npc
  15. you might be able to do it I just went all out on that build it is my baby

It would be hard just one set of purple is over 1bill much less a glad proc, numina proc, lotg 7.5s, miracle proc, and HOs
  16. It would be so nice if there was just a zone for pure pvp
  17. DarkThingy

    Shadow Maul

SM is a nice filler for a decent price purple set plus you can put a Furry of the glad proc in it which gives a nice over all dps boost when you are having a go with bosses and AVs
  18. I would say scrapper as well you can get melt armor which will fit a nice set of shield breakers for the +def and also you get fire ball which has a chance to crit and if you put a rag proc in it has a chance to help mitigate dmg by keeping them on their backs, so IMHO I would go with the scrapper for a easier def cap to reach with shield breakers and the extra dmg from a fire ball

Willpower OTOH gains somewhat from SL, but with double-stacked Health/Fast Healing and Stamina/Quick Recovery, two of the nice DM powers (Siphon, Dark Consumption) lose some of their strength.

Shields will benefit immensely from Siphon Life, Dark Consumption and the -Acc secondary in your attacks will really help out till IOs really start boosting your survival.

Finally, just the thought of Soul Drain +Saturated AAO + Shield Charge just makes me smile.
I love my DM/SD you just need the money to build it right ... it took over 15 bill for me to finally get a build that I like but it is fully soft capped, has 30+ HPS + SL and dose not need dark consumption as it is fully end stable, so if you have the money I would say go /SD hands down. One pointer I can give you is look hard into getting a nice amount of HOs into your build and also the Glad armor proc; It was the make or break for the build I am running It allowed me to put 2 extra purple sets in while staying at softcap def which was nice for the extra recover, acc and recharge. I mainly PvP with him which he dose a heck of a job. But he has also never came across a AV that he could not solo.

As far as WP goes as said above in the quoted text you will not get the full benefit of the power set choice. yet it will cost ALOT less to build compared to the /SD and still be able to do almost everything that a /SD could. You would just be lacking the mitigation from a soft capped def and the dmg boost/debuff that AAO gives you which makes it much more viable for taking on more mobs at one time, or a mob that has spike dmg as you have a very high chance to mitigate the dmg from the mob allowing your passive regen and your SL to keep you at full HP at almost all times. plus you have the nice power shield charge to keep the floor clean of adds while you are fighting a av

    Power Leveling

Has anyone else noticed how may people come up to you now if you have nice set bonuses and ask if you will power level them? Just about any toon that I log on if I am in Atlas I will get at least 3 tells a day of people asking me to farm them up. I was just wondering if ya'll where getting the tells to, They are so annoying. Why can people just go find/make a team and go level up on their own now.
