Points:
1. It's inf (short for influence for heroes, infamy for villains, information for Praetorians), not gold.
2. You don't need to farm to make enough money to finance a character's build. I see you're actually a free member so I'm not sure if you're able to just sell stuff on the auction house or if you can't even access the auction house at all, but since you can't use Invention Origin enhancements you really don't need to worry about having piles and piles of inf. The game is perfectly playable without a tweaked-out uber-build (and again, pretty much any current uber-build is beyond your grasp as they all use Inventions). Even if you did have access to the endgame (see point 3) you wouldn't need an uber-build in order to participate.
3. My god, you just started and you're already level 38? My suggestion is to slow way down, this game is not like other MMOs, there's a whole bunch of content to experience at levels 1-49. There is an actual endgame, but you can only access it as a VIP player, but even if you could access it you still shouldn't be racing to get there. -

Base portals that were previously set up for Galaxy City will also take you to the Echo.

Quote:I blame Nemesis.By the way, Gob, I think that my computer may be conspiring against me this evening. When I returned to this thread, your initial posts and Organica's second post were not displaying for me.
I now understand why you felt like chopped liver- I'm sure that your solution was just as viable as reloading the configuration from another character as Roderick suggested.
I hereby spread my gratitude out equally amongst all responders! -

No slash commands needed.

Hate when that happens, but it's pretty easily restorable. (Loading up game since I don't remember how to do it off the top of my head...)
Okay, so basically, create a new tab (doesn't matter what channel you put in there, it's a dummy tab), then right-click it, and select move to Top (or Bottom, not sure which it'll say). That should create the second pane, and from there you can reshuffle/recreate your tabs accordingly. -
Gosh you're gonna feel really silly this time next year. Or possibly not, perhaps you lack that level of self-awareness. I'm not saying you do, I don't wish to judge.

4 years. And you're wrong, Prometheus has specifically said that the Battalion is the Coming Storm, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they're next after we defeat Tyrant.

I suppose if you were fighting a mob full of just Sappers, or had several spawns of Carnies all bunched together and they all died at the same time, you might be in trouble without full immunity. (Of course, in the case of Carnies, they're all dead by the time this happens, so who cares.)
-
Quote:Endurance drain is not the same as debuffed recovery. 100% endurance drain resistance would mean your endurance cannot be drained, period (see: those jerkhole Sappers). Can you even get immunity? I thought it capped at 95%. At least, my recovery resistance in combat attributes caps at 95% on my elec/ tank.
I'm not sure where the OP is getting these numbers though because according to City of Data, Consume only grants 50% resistance to endurance drains, and even if you make it perma the effect doesn't stack from same caster. Of course I'm also not sure what sort of character this is on, but what characters can stack Consume with something else to reach 100% end drain resistance (if indeed it doesn't cap)?
At any rate, I tend to agree with Hopeling, I can't imagine a situation where that 10% would make any difference, save for a small handful of extreme edge cases. -

I don't really have time to read this thread now, so I'll just add it to my que.

I must be playing a different game than you people, I don't see any of this gnashing of teeth on Pinnacle. BAFs and Lambdas certainly get run the most frequently, but since the last patch TPNs and Keyes get run pretty often too, with MoM trailing shortly behind. (Nobody likes UG. Appropriate acronym for it, I'd say.) I also don't see people getting rejected from trials because they're not level-shifted, or because they're missing Gear X. There are enough experienced level-shifted folks to pick up the slack for the newbies and/or newly-minted 50s.
Y'all are too stressed out about a game. -
Quote:And here I am, telling you that you're wrong. See you in a few weeks. No, you're misunderstanding. They said whoever they kill off will be taken out. What I am guessing is that Statesman is NOT the ultimate target of "Who will die?", but someone else entirely. This is supposed to make it look like Statesman. He'll be brought back/revealed to have not been dead/some other random event, and then some one ELSE will bite it. That person would be the 'completely removed' element, as opposed to Statesman.
-
They can switch, they just can't start neutral (which means no Galaxy City tutorial, no Praetoria at all; Khelds start in Atlas, SoA in Mercy).
-
Quote:If this is the case then the devs are outright lying to us when they say they're replacing Statesman in the game world entirely. My wager? This is a feint kill. Statesman won't stay dead the entire arc, and it'll be another major character who bites it at the end.
And they're not lying. -

I called Issue 25 in the announcement thread. 25 is the silver anniversary after all, you know they're gonna have something special in mind.
-
Yeah, just PM one of them and ask them to move it.

I want to go to there.
