  2. Kinda seems like you're looking to bypass the intended design of the Incarnate slots, namely that you're not supposed to be able to switch slots on the fly (and no, having to wait for normal recharge doesn't change this).

First - If they never intended to make a Moon Zone then it should never have been an option on the survey.

Second - If there is a reason why the zone that was voted the players choice for what we wanted could not be added to the game, then tell us what it is. I know I've never heard anything official, or any players claiming they heard anything.
Is there an actual quote where a dev/community rep literally said "we will make the zone that wins" or was it just asking what we want?

Yes, because clearly the devs haven't given us a single thing we've wanted over the past 6 years.

Give us our moon zone so we can defend our world!
    Sooner than that, I'd wager.

You don't even need a Facebook account to use the app. Which is irrelevant, since the options for the pose category almost completely covers up the other two buttons, and the options for the costume category completely cover them up, thus making the app quite lame.

For instance, if we are defining popularity in the most scientific sense, where a population of some species (the players) occupies an area, Preatoria, then we'd be correct in stating that Preatoria is not very populated, especially if we compare it to something like Atlas Park, which is so densely populated it needs to break the laws of physics and exist in multiple instance to hold all the people who commonly occupy the area.

But if we where to describe popularity as the shared personal enjoyment of an area then I might start to make the case that Preatoria actually was rather popular in the same way I would describe a console game as being 'popular'. For example, I only played the most recent Batman games twice before I ran off to do something else. I'd still consider it a highly successful and widely popular game, even though very few people are probably still playing it.

My point then, is that it might not entirely be fair to describe Preatoria as unpopular, more that it has just run its' course. I'm likely just arguing semantics too, but I think the distinction is worth making.
Not really, since this is a game with a persistent and evolving world, and not the static city of Arkham City. Also, there's other game content that is older than Praetoria (much older, in some cases) that hasn't run its course.

By your definition, new game content is always "popular" in this game because everybody always rushes to the new shiny.
  8. You can't repopulate Praetoria. Like the Rogue Isles, it will always be a niche region because most people come to this game looking to play as a standard superhero. It was only popular when it first came out because it was the new shiny and it wasn't as drab as the existing starter content back then.

    That was the goo.

I don't suppose anyone is aware of any videos that exist of these things in action? By the time I got my first character that was high-level enough to do a Hami Raid they had been removed.
  10. I was so happy when I could finally crossover to redside with my Blaster Mr. Science and grab the Master of Science badge from Cap. Pretty much the only way the devs could make a more fitting badge is if they made "SCIENCE!!" as a badge.

    ...Get on it, devs.

It's not my fault if you can't adequately convey your emotions.

Unless you log into the game in some way that doesn't involve entering a name and a password then, yeah, the game and the forum are exactly the same in the aspect in which we are both talking about. Or at least I think we are, it's hard to tell with you.

I simply fail to see how entering a name and a password is especially difficult. If it's logging you out every ten seconds to the point where the forum is unusable I might agree with your... whatever emotion your feeling. Maybe. Even every couple of hours hardly seems like a big deal to me.
The term "strawman" is only overused because strawmen are overused, especially on the internet where any awesome jerk can say any stupid uninformed thing they want because who cares. It's not my fault you can't make a cogent argument. And no, this argument is not causing me any stress. I forgot about anything having to do with my post shortly after making it, and was only reminded when I saw a thread that I had replied to at one point had new replies (and only then once I saw your post).

And your new post is filled with more strawmen, so honestly I'm just not going to even bother and let other people convince you of your own ridiculousness (let's call it outsourcing).

Short of completely rewriting the basecode from scratch, there's really no way to repair years of patching.
Not to mention that a lot of the really cool stuff that the devs have given us lately has only come about due to some dirty hacks of improperly documented (or maybe even entirely undocumented) code -- written by people who moved on long ago -- that was never designed to do a lot of what it's doing now. There's basically no way the game isn't going to be buggy, regardless of how much the devs prioritize fixing it.

That said, there's still an argument here about what the devs' priorities seem to be regarding certain bugfixes. There have been some pretty major bugs reported in past betas that really should have been fixed first, but instead they made it to live and ticked off a lot of people. I understand that they don't want to delay an entire Issue release because of one bug unless it's something that literally breaks the entire game, and I'm not saying they should, but maybe they should just pull whatever specific thing seems to be causing the problem, even if they're not sure why that is. It sucks, but sometimes you need to adjust the scope of your project deadlines if you meet with unanticipated delays.

The OP is being ridiculously kneejerk reactionist though, but that seems to be the SOP of the 21st century so far.

Nobody is saying that's stressful (neat strawman though), it's just annoying. Also, the game is not the same as the forum.

    Thank you for your time.

Wolverine claws have been in the game since Issue 0.
  19. Speaking as someone who's been playing an Elec/Elec Blaster since 2005...don't bother. Short Circuit is the only power that should be slotted for End Mod, although that doesn't return Endurance. I'm not even sure if it's enhanceable on those that do (it's the single-target blasts only, so 4/9 powers).
  20. Roll a Mastermind.

More seriously, it actually would be kind of neat to be able to use some NPCs as help for taking down a tougher task than could be done alone (of course, there's a number of builds that can take down AVs and GMs solo, so maybe multiple GMs). There's already some precedent for it in the game, with the T9 repeatable reward of summoning an EB for help, as well as WWD #5 where you get some boss NPC help to take down another group of bosses. I haven't tried the repeatable T9s (not at T9 quite yet), but I have to say that the example from WWD was honestly a little disappointing. Depending on what you're playing, you can basically stand there and do nothing and let the NPCs just have it out. If they were going to implement this further, it would need to be a little more balanced.

It would need movement animation though, which would probably require a new animation rig if it's going to do anything more complex than simply sliding along the floor like some NPCs do when their movement animation doesn't play correctly.
