NPC Gladiator Options

More seriously, it actually would be kind of neat to be able to use some NPCs as help for taking down a tougher task than could be done alone (of course, there's a number of builds that can take down AVs and GMs solo, so maybe multiple GMs). There's already some precedent for it in the game, with the T9 repeatable reward of summoning an EB for help, as well as WWD #5 where you get some boss NPC help to take down another group of bosses. I haven't tried the repeatable T9s (not at T9 quite yet), but I have to say that the example from WWD was honestly a little disappointing. Depending on what you're playing, you can basically stand there and do nothing and let the NPCs just have it out. If they were going to implement this further, it would need to be a little more balanced.

How about recruiting NPCS as Gladiators? It would be amusing to recuit the NPCs from radio/newspaper missions as well as some special options. Then I could take my gang of desperados and fight some hero and their super team.
