One other thing FX, there's Rule 85...

If it exists, there is a pony of it. No exceptions.

It was also referenced in Atomic Laundromat a couple weeks or so ago.
  3. Looks like there's only two more volumes to Queen with volume 5 coming out in Feb.

K-On! Season 2 is probably never going to happen in R1. It depends on how the licensing contract reads. They may sublicense to some other company or it may revert to the Japanese holders. Regardless, it won't be put out by Bandai.

I went through my collection today and the list of stuff I need to finish buying is depressingly long. >.<
  4. Well, it's the 2nd now and still no PP for me. Despite my billing date being the first of the month. Wonder if they are going to use the Winter Event as the reason for the points not being there?

Edit - And didn't even realize it, but my VIP sub came due yesterday as well. They were more than able to charge me for that, unsurprisingly.

I figured this would happen, and it did, sadly. Their method of releasing series is basically what did them in. I was was worried when I heard they picked up the license for Gosick, now I'm sad.....Hopefully some companies will pick up the cancelled releases.
You mean that they were still trying to release single volumes when everyone else was moving to half-series or series releases? Yup. The days of being able to charge $20-30 for 3-5 episodes are done with.

I've only got a few Bandai series (that I'm interested in) to finish...Haruhi-Chan, Digi Charat Nyo, Galaxy Angel, K-On!, Code Geass S2, etc. Not very many though.

Sidebar, how does this affect Code Geass: Queen? That's a fairly funny manga.

While production has ended, it's not really "gone". It's in repeats on Cooking Channel. That channel is also showing the Japanese Iron Chef episodes too. Fourteen seasons and 249 episodes is a heckuva run for anything.

Doesn't talk much either. About what you could expect from an AT what gets beat on the head all the time.

Dish Network has several models that offer the USB attachment/functionality. It'll support up to a 2TB external hard drive.

I think I may have gotten that token at the same time as well. Not sure though.

I do know that it's now the first and still no Paragon Points, despite my billing date being the first.

I personally do not hold any illusions that this will ever be fixed or at the very least consistent. I asked Ghost Falcon in another thread about it and this was his response (dated: 12/13/11):

Not necessarily. Some DVRs have functionality to add more storage with USB devices. You could, in theory, DVR everything and store it.

They really nothing to write home about.
I do like the sutra chants. They are very...almost hypnotic. Though I also do find Gregorian chant calming as well.

The thing that I guess bothers me about the show, is that they do the fanservice, but not actually show anything. They go to great lengths to get Ikkou in the situations, but then it's almost like Dark Helmet saying, "Fooled you!".

I do like the setup though, that the girls are representatives of the six realms and it kinda shows in their mannerisms. I'm guessing that Ikkou is supposed to be the conduit for the power or Buddha, if going by the show's title.

  16. Guys, for next year, would you PLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAASE reduce Toy Collector to 100 (or even 50!) Presents? 200 is simply not fun. It's a pointless and excessive grind that takes any fun out of getting them. Even 50 with the ridiculous lopsided Naughty->Nice ratio would still allow a person to get Cold Warrior.

It's bad enough that most mothers stare at me and grab their kids when I go into the children's section of the library. You see my library segregates the DVDs you can borrow into Adult, Teen and Children and the Children's section includes every CGI animated film made in the last 15 plus years including all the Pixar ones.

The Teen section is tiny and besides including the Twilight movies also includes the Narnia movies, the Harry Potter movies, Scott Pilgrim, Juno, The Sorcerers Apprentice and oddly Top Secret!.
The trick in that case FX, is to get yourself a cheap steel ring (or make one, if you have the capability) to imitate a wedding ring. Make sure that it's prominently visible if/when the mothers give you that look. You can make it seem like you are picking something out for your kid.

Merle was the racist dink that cut his own hand off to get off the roof. Darryl is the one that is essentially a good guy and the one I gots no problems with.

And ID4 was the most important thing for a movie...FUN. Cheesy and full of plot holes? Ya, not doubt. But it was an enjoyable movie.

Except he's not really the "good natured" part. I was thinking more of Randy Quaid's character in ID4.

Sorry, but in that first picciature with the Wonder Woman/Wonder Girl - not sure which one, you look about 15. I was, wait what? Someone that young is wanting/getting an Ultra Magnus item?
