  1. Well to start where along this creature's journey does it find itself in Paragon/ The Isles?

You said with hard work and dedication over it's many centuries of life it regained perspective. This implies to me that the character should have basic intelligence at the least. Perhaps being overly inquisitive similar to Socrates. Always asking questions, so much so that people might get annoyed.

Gender: could go either way though I think female might be more appropriate. (this also has the advantage of a wider costume selection.)

Race/Appearance: Now i'm not sure why but as I was typing this something similar to the Queen of Blades(from Starcraft) popped into my head. Probably because that's a decent representation of strength and mind. So I would work from there.

Intelligence: I spoke about earlier, basic intelligence but overly inquisitive even asking about simple things. "How is it that water comes from this metal tube?" when seeing someone use a faucet.

Brain vs Brawn: Depending on where in the journey this character is should tip the scale here, but i think a medium of using brain for offense/defense and using brawn for the opposite would strike a good duality.

Powers: I think Scrapper or Stalker fit better than Brute and both would allow the duality I suggested earlier. I'd need to know which sets you've already done on both to give more direct advice.

Appearance: For clothing a mixture of exposed and armored areas. Armor favoring joints and exposed favoring muscles. This reinforces that duality.

    Hope that helps
  2. Gohans linr to Bulma is one of my favorites.

"So how far do you ahve to fall to reach terminal velocity?"
    "..."
    "Yeah, that's what I thought"

well pain easily rhymes with a-gain,so use that.

I'd post an image of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Witch doctor, but don't have time to grab a good image of him at the moment.
  4. SO with that good news had, I'm actually curious would people be interested in seeing the Utron storyline on the big screen?

    Wrong

    He's clearly a Human Druid/Warshaper from D&D 3.5E

He wants to be honorable, but is willing to go to more extreme measures.

Although, his patron arc story is that you end up "crushing his hope of being a savior" and turning him completely to villainous retribution.
Well he shouldn't have tried to take away my free will. I wouldv'e let him carry on as he pleased except for that detail there.

  8. I am both intrigued and apprehensive at this news.
  9. This seems like it might be a likely candidate for one of the other slots.

If the names are largely the same I think Vitae was one of the potential names and this ability seems like a good fit.

Well there was the incident with the serial killer and Metronome's rampage.

To be honest it's been a while since I've run a character through Praetoria, but those are the story lines I remember. I know there was more along the same lines but I don't remember it very well. Haven't run through Praetoria since GR launched.

Sorry, was too busy stopping the Crusaders from killing everyone in the Magesterium with reprogrammed Clockwork, disarming bombs planted around the hospital, and stopping a plot to overload the Neutropolis reactors and killing everyone.
  12. Sure these drafts have always been fun.
  13. Well not having them memorized is a bit of a problem, but a quick tip to help you out.

Build Up -> AS starts 2 combos.

So did you use Build Up? if Yes, Assassins Blades is next in a combo.

EDIT: Oh nothing against the idea, but I think this was pointed out when the Stalker changes were in Beta and there was some technical limitation interfering with making any kind of change.

If you enjoyed the old content than the merits for it shouldn't matter.
The Incentive should be the enjoyment of the content.
Unless of course you enjoyed it because of the reward, in which case you can cry me a frickin river. Merit rewards are so horribly out of whack on Heroside that most complaints about them amount to nothing more than being a whiny little b.

The older TF's are famous for over rewarding merits, especially with the times it takes to run them now, especially now as player power levels have expanded significantly.
  15. Scrappers already have a guaranteed effect though. If this is guaranteed that would be 2 for Scrappers when some AT's don't have any at all.
Plus it seems that Scarppers aren't supposed to have the same agro generation as Tankers and Brutes.

Again I have nothing against the idea, I was clarifying the current position of the Devs on Procs.
  16. Why are these Purple when the existing Signature Character ones are not?
  17. Nothing against the idea except for 1 problem. The Devs (synapse specifically) have gone on the record that they will not be allowing procs to occur 100% of the time.

So as a proc it couldn't be 100% Chance to occur, IIRC the new formula allows a 95% chance without recharge slotted and about 70% at 95% recharge slotted.
  18. Ubelman the Unknown from before the Council take over.

in fact I don't think I've run it since then.

    Not going to happen.
Technically they just did this with the Stalker changes but didn't change the animations yet. Lots of powers team work though.

So the question isn't can the devs do this (they've shown they can). The question becomes "Is this the change Tankers need?"

I don't know, not a tanker person but the changes Vitality suggested seem to make the most sense

  21. Big Deal you got the Wolf pet.

The other day while I was waiting for a GM to kick a NPC out of a wall, I decided to open some packs I hadn't opened and got the wolf myself.

Person Cited WoW specifically. WoW is effectively a sequel to the Warcraft RTS. the RTS used Orcs extensively as the main enemy of the Horde faction for the Alliance faction to fight.

WOW can use Orcs because Blizzard had already done their homework/paperwork for the Warcraft franchise. Since WoW is a continuation of said franchise that homework/paperwork already applies.

    Games existed before WoW basically.

    Greek vs Roman pronunciations
  24. Actually the reason WoW can have orcs, is because Blizzard had already used Orcs in their Warcraft series.

Blizzard's Orcs are different from Games Workshop's Orks (Warhammer,W40K)

which are different from Tolkiens Orcs

I think the only overlap is between Tolkiens and D&D's, either way because Orcs have a usage that predates Tolkien's writings it's all good.
