  1. We can hope for a squishier confess to poke........... OK that didn't sound right
  2. 1. Dark Mist Fire/DA 38+
    2. MaXimillion Zero Necro/Dark 40
    3. Heatloss (possibly) Ice/Cold 38+
    4. Leather Dakani (possibly) Rad/Thermal 39+
    5. Dark Synopsis Ice/Ice 40
    6. X-16 MM? lv35+
    7. Entropy Kitty (possibly) lvl34+ DM/Inv brute
    8.

And two more letting others go first and one of Flick's 40s too possibly. I'd hope we were finished by 4pm.
  3. Could have been a scrapper with other power sets, or something, yeah, that's my excuse, uhuh

    best all round?

When inv gets invicible it gets good, really good.

I dont think Dark is that good an offensive power for a brute, but it is nice and safe. I'm not a fan of SS, cause of the fury loss during rage's pause, but footstomp makes the set worthwhile.

Inv can have a much better staying power, but its mostly S&L, where as EN has a fairly good split of defence, none of it really that high though.

    Any good

For melee & control I'd recomend the ice secondry, for pure damage the fire one, and for a mixture of all three the energy one.

Primary, well they're all fairly good, Grav is fairly solo friendly, mind is as awesome as ever, plant is new and fairly good from ranged and ice is all melee.
  6. Has kept me unimob'd for 14 levels now, with one exception, multiple Singularities. Not needed to turn CJ on to back it up and am freequently on large teams. Maybe I'm just lucky, but it seems to be working fine for me
  7. Two AoEs give agro with CoD running, am sure that Death Shroud alone would pull through it. Mostly its a thin layer of defence, a good imob protection and a way of ghosting missions if you dont like what you see inside.

I find AoEs unbelievably helpfull, but then maybe Fire ones are much nicer than the En ones. They also hold agro better than the damage aura's, so a good way to pull from other brutes and keep your own fury high.

Sometimes I forget I have build up, that's how usefull it is
  8. I'd take CoD before Death Shroud (if you're set on taking Death Shroud, though with EN being mostly single target it might help) I didn't take Death Shroud cause I saw it as a big end issue waiting to happen.
I'd have Barage instead of Energy Punch, builds fury nicely, replaces Brawl, and is generally very handy.
I like having Build Up in my build but its really not something I use that often, mostly at the start of fights. I currently have 3 rchg reds in it, but will be changing to 1 when I respec. Maybe move that to later and bring CoD forward

  10. Cheers mate, will need someone that knows the way to direct me, I get scrapper lock with my brute
  11. What level are you? Unless you're below 32 I dont see the need for Smite and Shadow Punch.

I'd take IH again as well, as forgetable as it was in I5 its now a much needed boost in I6.

End reds? Isn't end that bar that other scrappers worry about? Seriously, 2 in Int max, none in attacks.

ToF, 3 -tohits, go for it, its like eluding to that one foe. (So I dropped my Dm/Regen so I could play a DM/SR and elude them all, but hey)

Oh anf if you use ToF in your attack chain, you dont need Hasten
  12. Or anyone with gale or torrent deserve a slap, in warning, before they use it on your slick, to warn of whats to come.

Slick also wakes up sleeping foes, and can draw feared ones onto the attack. So careful around mind.
  13. I dont stop
    I cycle heavy hitters
    I dont need hasten

I run 1acc, 1end red, 1 rchg in all attack, and 3 dam in my AoEs and high damage. I maintain full fury from AoEs agroing everything.
  14. Just gonna take an easy run at this, around 13:30 GMT
    Probably on Villanous.

Looking for 39s and 40s (probably will be 39 myself by sunday) but if we get enough 40s can LK up, obviously.

    Anyway, who wants in?
  15. Cynic

    Scrapper combo?

Ah, my regen never fought Malta, that doesn't sound pleasant. I'm currently dreading KoA for my SR, sure the slow wont be a problem but all that autohit DoT is going to be ouch
  16. Cynic

    Scrapper combo?

Having Duo'd with a regen scrapper I can cofirm that against large groups Regen has by far the greater survivability. Maybe its the DM primary, but against single foes or bosses I've noted SR does cope better. I've played both, I consider my Regen far tougher, but it has nothing to match the killing spree that goes with Elude.

For general all round safty you probably want inv, its weaknesses are few in comparison. The most dangerous thing for a regen scrapper is -recharge from quicksand, or spines, or ice attacks. Auto hits are the bane of SR (Envoy of Shadows is just a waste of mission slots, and when you do his missions you feel like a leach. A scrapper that cant get into melee isn't the best addition to the team) The defence changes of I7 should help SR a bit, but I dont see it catching up Regen or Inv on the general safety side.
  17. I'd go

acc, rchg, endred, dam, dam, dam

Which is pretty much how I slot all my brute attacks and the order I do it in
  18. [ QUOTE ]
Another classic illustration of the dominator's flaws just now. I was soloing on Malcious and my mission was to defeat Agent McGowin, a Longbow officer boss. My hold failed to take first time, and in the 2 seconds before it could recharge he one-shotted me.

[NB the combat text seems to be bugged, since it didn't record what attack he used or how much damage it did.]

    [/ QUOTE ]

What level? Gor those sort of bosses I find the best way to survive is to summon pet right on them. Jack Frost's hold never seems to miss, he'll atack Jack and then my hold will still him............ of course this is a pain to do all the time, but.........
  19. Sorry I missed it mate, grats
  20. The big bonus of Rad/Rad is cosmic burst, I can see many pro's of Elec as well though. Rad/Rad, Rad/Sonic, Rad/Elec and Rad/Dark all seem like they could be good to me. I dont think there's much that would be weak with the Rad set as its fairly even on its debuffs (as in if its there, Rad will debuff it) so you dont need to pick anything up with your secondry. Only thing I wouldn't want to play myself is Rad/En, knockback pushes foes out of your anchors, out of Chocking Cloud and could well get you killed. I still dont think it would be an impossible build, but its not a challange I'd set myself
  21. Do you need Artic Air on? Well as the control and damage for ice mostly comes from Melee, you have no armour, then yeah I'd say a big part of playing an Ice Dom is using the toggles. Can I run both AA and CE at the same time? Only with a friendly Kin. I feel like a stone brute when I'm looking for a team, each corruptor I invite I hope is a Kin.
  22. Damn devs and their twisted ways
  23. Cynic

    fire/fire

I wouldn't miss incinerate from the build, with full fury its your second "one hit kill" attack. Not sure whether it still one hits because I lead with Fire Sword Circle now, but it hurts someone enough that you can turn your attention elsewhere while they burn, and attack you to generate more fury
  24. Ice doesn't get good damage till level 35, then the end cost goes through the roof too.
