I just started playing a plant/plant dominator named Brussel Sprout (lets face it you knew Sprouts were evil this guys just living proof).
I've taken so far
Plant Control
Strangler (Holds are better than immobs)
Roots (group immob is useful)
Seeds of Confusion (confuse is more useful than sleep in my opinion)
Thorn Assault
Thorny Darts
Fling Thorns
Leaping Pool
Combat Jumping
This seems to suit my style of play as I'm not too comfortable taking a dominator into mellee range. Check out a site like gameamp for more details on theprosand cons of the various powers.
For melee & control I'd recomend the ice secondry, for pure damage the fire one, and for a mixture of all three the energy one.
Primary, well they're all fairly good, Grav is fairly solo friendly, mind is as awesome as ever, plant is new and fairly good from ranged and ice is all melee.

Hey Guys im thinking of starting a dominator when i get kairy to 40 but i udnno what power sets i would pick i love to have plant contrle because it looks like it deals alot of damage and can be very hand too. But would really aprreciate what u guys think is the best pwers for them etc......
