So I have a SG badge in the works for 1,000,000 prestige earned by SG members (plural).
Currently I have 1 character who has earned 981,508, another with 465,916 and a third with 389,580. This comes out to equal 1,837,004 prestige earned by members of my SG. My badge progression however shows I am only at 282,836 prestige or 28.28% of the way to 1,000,000. I can't recall having traded much, if any, influence for prestige either.
Now, if you add a 0 to 282,836 and make it 2,828,360 and subtract a million = 1,828,360 take away a small portion that I may have purchased using infamy (possibly) 8644 and you have the correct amount that I have earned but not gotten credit for.
What gives? -
Probably moved an item that was critical to your power or control system when adding rooms and whatnot. You'll probably need to recheck your power/control setup for errors.
-
Might have changed when they "fixed" the clear glass on the SG base glass logo stands.

I must concur, the lag in that mission is borderline insanity. I don't know what causes it, but some of the devs should try playing it. Then they can see what we mean. Gets real bad when trying to kill on top of the towers in mission 4 also.
-
I like the idea of having objects like these in missions. The main issue would be where they go in a mission and how to place them. As it sits they would be randomly placed which might be ok in some instances but not likely in a majority.
In addition to adding such objects we would need the ability to place specific items in specific locations. The ability to do this would also greatly improve the overall story telling ability in AE. I can place a specific NPC at a specific location like on a pedestal or platform or room, etc to further a story. -

Any heal that gets a +Resist(element) does not get the heal bonus applied to it. Sha gives +Res(Toxic), so therefor does not benefit from heal bonuses.
[/ QUOTE ]The IO set does not explain that it specifically in-fact states that it applies to ALL healing powers. There is no distinction about powers that have other effects not being included. In-fact any heal using this IO set or virtually any IO set might be nullified of any healing bonus due to the fact that the IO set provides its own bonuses. -
In my Kuji-In Sha I checked on my Doctored wounds (full set of all 6). Base Heal 301.96, Modified Heal 594.82 (97.5%). According to the info on the tool-tip. Rounded up that means my heal should be +595 and it is. However according to the set bonuses if I have 4 (and I have all 6) I an supposed to get an additional 4% bonus to all my healing powers which Kuji-In Sha is, to the best of my knowledge. This should mean my percentage modifier on my heal should be 101.5% (97.5% + 4%) so 301.19 x 101.5% = 606.9. So my Kuji-In Sha should heal me for 607 rounded up.
Unfortunately in testing it still only heals me for 595.
Am I misunderstanding set bonuses or is this not working correctly? -
My new Arc "Back to the Drawing Board" is available in the Architect on Freedom Server. ID# 271453
5 missions.
Up to 3 AVs depending on team size and difficulty settings.
Canon related. Takes place right after the Vanguard Security Conference from the Vanguard arc by Serpent Drummer in the RWZ.
Designed for teams.
Auto SK to L50 so anyone of any level can participate.
Recommended L20+ however.
Contains Rikti, Nemesis and a custom Arch-Villain.
Vanguard themed so works for heroes and villains alike.
Please feel free to try it and submit feedback.
Thanks! -
No kidding. I can solo on higher difficulty with my Ice/Ice Dom than I can with my SS/DA brute or Claw/Nin stalker and that was BEFORE this new change making us build Dom up faster.

Heh, can't even fight me themselves, gotta have the lackeys do it. Unfortunately for them, they were about to learn something new about lycanthropes.
Dark fog coalesced about Karl's body, the silver bullets struck the thick mire and slowed to a crawl, then dropped to the ground in a silver shower. The fire bomb on the other hand struck not Karl, but the ground near him. It burst into a torrent of flame and hot glass. The stink of petroleum filled Karl's nose as the flames scorched his fur.
Hmm, 7 against 1, the odds were not in Karl's favor, not even in his lycanthropic rage.
Still smoldering from the pyrotechnic burst, Karl leaped to the girl dodging a massive silver sledge and hefted her easily under a muscular arm. With a snarl unlike any lycanthrope T'haed or Diov had ever heard before, Karl leapt past T'haed with blinding speed. Holding the girl under one arm, his other hand drifted low and razor sharp claws raked T'haed's side, rending armor and flesh.
By the time T'haed spun around from the blow Karl's leap had carried him and the girl well out of sight. As T'haed cursed at his new wound he suddenly had the feeling he had forgotten something. Turning around the swarm of zombies carried into the crater like a sea of death. Now the odds were several hundred to 7.
Karl snickered to himself as he carried off his prize into the woods. Lets see them odds now... -
The explosion was so bright it illuminated the woods beyond the clearing. Shambling figures were just beyond the tree line now, hundreds of them. Slavering, oozing pustulent, undead things hungering for living brains.
Thrown out of his daze by the roar of the explosion Karl skulked around the ruins of the camp to observe the figures that stepped out from the capsule that caused the blast. The 2 figures were gaunt and pallid, not unlike the zombies themselves. But no scent of decay was upon them. They were different, but not terribly. Could they be the source of this scourge? No they seemed to be aware of the predicament here though, but it did not seem to concern them. They seemed to have a different agenda, not much different than Karl's own.
The armored being began to crackle with energy and began to move menacingly towards the gypsy girl Karl had been mesmerized by moments ago. Something moved in Karl the scent of a predator struck him and the low hungry growl of a carnivore reached his ears.
What to do? Normally Karl would simply move on but something about the gypsy girl demanded his attention. Karl leapt from his hiding place at the edge of the clearing. The sudden rage at having his prize taken away from him so soon fueled the rage in him. His wolf features bulged and twisted. Bones broke and reformed muscle and tissue expanded and reshaped themselves.
When Karl landed halfway between the girl and the armored thing he was no longer a mere wolf but a hulking beast half man, half wolf. His supernatural strength evident by the taut muscles rippling under his thick fur. The powers of darkness that fueled the curse of lycanthropy swirled in a dark fog around his body.
A guttural growl escaped from Karl's throat..."mine!" -
The hackles on Karl's neck stood on end. The scent of decay and death swirled around mixed with something... unnatural. Whatever made the zombies what they are had an acrid odor that burned in his snout.
The zombies shambles aimlessly across the moor towards his concealed position. Did they sense him? No, his skill as a hunter were preternaturally enhanced since his rebirth as a lycanthrope. They were after something or someone else. Then the wind changed directions and his nose detected the smell of cooked meat... gypsies.
The zombies had sensed them before he had? That thoroughly astounded Karl. How could this be? His senses were 10 times more acute than any other living humans. He would have to investigate this further. The hunt was on.
He loped along in full wolf form for speed though he was in no danger of being overtaken by the shambling horde. Karl's ears pricked up at the sound of gypsy instruments playing a fine tune. He was close.
Moments later he came within sight of the gypsies encampment. 7 wagons and 2 large tents surrounded a large pit with a bonfire. About 25 gypsies were gathered around the fire dancing and singing and enjoying an apparent feast unaware of the danger that approached from the south. Karl loped around to the north side of the camp to observe.
As the wolf gazed into the camp he watched the dancers. One youthful female dancer caught his attention not as a wolf, but as a man. Her raven tresses whirled about as she twisted and spun about in traditional gypsy dance, tambourine playing against her curvaceous hip. Mesmerized he lost track of time... -
Quite simply, read some of the threads in here and you will understand better than any expalanation I can type.

That's really good.
The scene is fluid, she appears to be still and in-motion all at the same time. Her skin and her outfit have different textures (all to uncommon in many pieces I see). Her facial expression is realistic and doesn't seem forced. I see alot of 3D renders where the facial expression is bland and generic.
Again, very nice. -
I imagine the original screen shot may have had him centered but he cropped it so he is now on the side.

I think Green Regis wins since Cyborgs > Robots since they are immune to mathematical paradoxs...and his looks slightly cooler...

That's only for robots who aren't programmed with fuzzy logic.

Robots aren't fuzzy, they're hard, shiny and smooth... -
All I can say is ... WOW! I can't believe I missed this comic before. This is even better than the "official" comic, by a long-shot.
I am REALLY looking forward to the next issue.
My favorite part is the bit with the crab spider trying to fire the longfang cannons at Dark Desire. I laughed so loud my flatmates came over to see what all the fuss was about.
Would you mind if I downloaded the pics so I can print them out in paper format? I promise I will not sell them, I just would like to bind them so I can put them in sleeves with the rest of my comic collection. -
If you could provide me with a linky to the video I could probably find the music.
-
The wrapped option under stillettos is missing for sure (there is a wrap option, but it's not the same thing). I have several characters who wear these... sue me, I like em.
Everything else has been a great step forward! I am happy to see some folks working hard on a VERY important part of the game. -

Or how about
sports designed especially for meta-humans, you mean to tell me there has never been a meta-human olympics? Super-football? Clearly its not fair to exclude meta-humans from sports because they outperform humans by such a large margin, for true competative sports they'd need to have special meta-human events and even special rules. How many tankers could have previously had a career as a quarterback for the Chicago Titans (the meta-human alternative to the Bulls).

Sportscaster to crowd: "And the Super Strength Tanker kicks the ball 4000yards for a field goal!...
but wait...
OH NO! The Fire Corruptor has melted the goalpost!...
What now?!...
Uh-oh, the refs have called a time-out...
OH, look at that! The head Ref has been AS'd by the Stalker, guess we'll have to wait on the official call on that play till he gets back from the hospital!"
*people on the sidelines scramble to get a new goal-post erected* -
My understanding is that you will still get the powers whether you take them from the Patron Pool or from normal pools. So those who don't think any will fit their concept can choose from their primary, secondary or standard power pools if they choose.
As for fitting into your concept, it's easy enough to say that instead of "working" for Arachnos you beat the snot out of one of their bosses and took his mace or as for Mako's spirit shark, your mind-control Dom uses something everyone in the world finds almost universally frightening (sharks) and uses mental images of them to cripple their enemies and bring them to their knees. As for the pets, easy enough to say you threatened to kill the pets (blood widow or Mu)family if they didn't serve you when you called.... That's pretty villainous yeah? Or instead of being given an arachnobot as a pet, how bout you stole the plans and started manufacturing them yourself? Or how bout your tech character captured one and reprogrammed it.
There are a MILLION ways to fit these concepts into yours. You just have to actually think about it. The ideas aren't necessarily going to drop into your lap. They would have to have 1000 powers just to even come close to making them fit just by base definition. -
Awesome IMO. I like what I am seeing. No, they're not uber, but they seem like they will be fun to use and that's why i play this game... for fun.
