It should be a glowing object (know as a glowy), run around the map and listen for a strange humming sound, it gets louder as you get closer to the evidence. Just click on the barrel/desk/item when you see it

if you can find it after a while send a ticket to customer support.

Just my 2 cents.

I rarely use LR, and when I do its solely to mess with bosses/EB's/AVs so that it slows their recharge and regen.

It's a good tool, just not a good crowd control tool

People can team from level 1. the best thing to do is find a supergroup on your server, if its a good one the veteran players will look after you. heck, some may even roll new toons to play with you to help you along.

PVP is not the strong point of this game, i am not a big pvper by any means so most of what i know is from casual play and poking my nose in PVP threads

PVP is currently mediocre. Big changes occured about 6-9 months ago (issue 13) that redid pvp completely. these annoyed a lot of harcore pvpers, and feedback/opinion is mixed with positive and negative views of the changes.

The development team is certainly looking at PVP and ways to improve it, new PVP enhancements came out recently and new badges will be in the next add on.

The PVP forums can get pretty heated, but thats the place to ask for PVP info.

Nah, no sewers red side. Red side starting is a bit harder on you, just do the 1st contacts arcs and go to port oakes about level 5-6 to get the newspaper so you can grab a jetpack.

As for your questions,

i'm only a casual PVPer so don't really know whats hot or not in that space.

What I do know is that bots/traps is a PVE beast if done well. Good for solo/small teams but the trap setups can be a bit slow on a really fast moving team. Plenty of info in the guides section and mastermind section on both bots and traps.

My SG is IRL friends only, so i can't help you there.

Characters don't have to be retweaked often, but i find its fun to do so now and then when new sets come out and powers get changed.

Any other questions just ask, this community is pretty good for helping new players

Don't get too hung up on having one toon with all the toys, COX is rewarding in different ways to other MMO's. It's not realyl about steaming to the level cap and raiding, don't rush to get there. Enjoy the ride.

Rolled two new doms and got them through the tutorial and into a day job location in prep for I15 (also to ensure they get the freespec)

A Fire/Energy called "Madam Scarlet" and a Earth/Psi called "Mindquake"

I will also play my other 3 doms more, Mind/elec "Neural Cascade", Plant/thorns "Professor Green" and Ice/Fire "Soviet Power"

Overall, a good mix and i think i got some good names too

I am looking at doing an article for the city scoop around the 4th of July to talk about creating patriotic and nationalistic toons.

If anyone wishes to submit a screenie of their patriotic or nationlistic toon for me to use i would most appreciate it.

Conditions are

1.) Pictures will be used in the City Scoop and I will store a copy on my photobucket account for the scoop to use. They will not be used for nay other purpose
2.) Pictures may be cropped and edited by me for best fit purposes.
3.) Screencaps only for this story, although art submissions I will pass on to snow globe for the 4th july edition (or nearest release date 6th July i think)
4.) Any nations heroes and villains considered, have a character called Colonel Canada, or the French Legionaire? If anyone has made a New Zealand themed toon I'll be doubly happy.
5.) Not all images may be used, I apologise in advance to anyone who doesnt get included.
6.) Cutoff date will be Monday 29 June 2009
7.) No prizes or payment, just a chance for others to see your creativity.

So I finally got Crime fully kitted with purples. I am contemplating moving to the following proposed final sort of build.

Build Concepts

1.) This is so PVE solo or small team play. This is not a pure team support build but rather a debuff/damage build
2.) Perma AM and perma Haste required
3.) A high level of -tohit debuffs, ranged defence and mez protection for defensive purposes
4.) Not designed for solo AV killing, I play on diff 4 so solo EBing is enough for me.
5.) Going to ghost widow as a patron purely as an ascetic choice to match my green/black colour scheme. Currently using Mu mastery
6.) Cost isnt an option, I already have 90% of the enhancements on the current build and respecing and selling would cover most costs involved.

In the US I would be considered a far left democrat.

In fact our major political parties are similar to the left wing and right wing of the US democratic party. A party like the republicans wouldn't get 10% of the vote here. The instant someone mentioned religion in a political speech next to no one would vote for them here. (our religious based parties got less than 1% of the vote last time around, less than two TV comedians who made a joke party)

Well, if you look at today's news, the whole same-sex marriage debate is still going on in the United States...

The fact that it is a debate demonstrates that there aren't universal social norms regarding sexual identity and gender concepts.

If everyone agreed on an acceptable standard, there wouldn't be a debate.

Now. You don't think men playing female characters in an online game is acceptable. Fine. You're entitled to your opinion. I'm sure a lot of folks think like you.
