Molly could feel the rifle getting lighter. And with communications to and from the hospital being jammed, Eric couldn't send her the refill she seriously needed.
"You know what?" Molly yelled as she diminished her ammo even further. "We -REALLY- need to get those nurses out of here, don't you think?" -
Have you even tried it? If not then do. It's not like it's set in stone when you up it. If you can't work with it, change it back.
Oh, and have a look at the invention system while you're at it. -

I think it's more a case that he just refuses to up his Rep. -
Molly had to act fast. She didn't have time to check the suit over and if that green cross-shaped button meant anything other than saving him, whoever designed it needed their head checked, at least in her opinion. Firing off a few more bursts, Molly then hit the button as quickly as she could.
-
"Get outta my WAY!" When Molly meant business, she made sure you knew about it, as she was doing right now as she promptly dove to slide under Shad00w, setting off a brief burst from her boots to propel her past him quickly. As soon as she was clear, her next order of business was to get her rifle back.
Molly then backflipped onto her feet and swung her arm at the Gunner-Freak holding her gun. Mid swing, a Tazer Dart flew out from underneath the pad on her glove, scoring a lucky strike on the Freak's neck. As the shock from the dart forced him to twitch and convulse, she caught the rifle mid-fall, swiftly aiming it at the shocked Freak and she then made her way over to the injured hero.
Keeping her rifle fixed on the Freaks she burst past. Molly attempted to connect to the centre's network wirelessly using her augmented brain. The plan was to see if there were any other mediporters in the building and try to get the unfortunate hero to safety, even if that meant giving him her own device to get him there.. -

noone uses it.

I use it and I love it. I know others that use it too.
As everyone else has said: Not imba, not broke. -
Molly dropped the rifle fast. "Done!" Unarmed, Molly had little choice but to stand there, the dark cloud eating away at her as she bit her lip, trying to conceal the pain... she had to think of something fast.
-
"Uh-oh!" Molly scarpered away from the path of the dark blast, but still found herself knocked off her feet when it managed to hit her leg, forcing her to faceplant fast.
"Oh, that is so not fair..." she muttered before eventually pulling herself back up, doing her utmost best to ignore the exacerbate aches coming from her prior wound. Once on her feet, she quickly cloaked, grabbing her rifle as she did before setting her boots into maximum burn to get around the monster as quickly as possible.
Once she got behind the thing, she took aim once more, commanding the rifle to load a snipe round into the barrel. -
"On it!" Molly yelled as pink-clad genius swiftly took aim at the med bay just ahead of the one they entered the hospital through. "You might wanna take cover, though!"
Molly pulled a trigger, making the first movements to push herself back toward the bay they entered from. The rifle let out a short whine once more, and the MediCom teleporter was soon torn apart by the full force of a grenade that also served to shower several of the Freak scum with shrapnel. Molly herself took a crazy risk in doing so, but part of the plan worked: she got out of the way just before the grenade hit home. With any luck she took out a few of the Freaks in the process. -
Molly rolled her eyes, her rifle at the ready for when something really hit the fan. The situation to most people would have seemed hopeless, but for Molly herself, one man's hopeless situation was this girl's next hurdle and right now, she was faced with something of a pretty high hurdle.
"Well, we could have gotten ahead of them if you hadn't gotten all 'I don't wanna go, mommy' on me." She answered Wild like this was a minor thing. Like taking a supposed shortcut to get to a wedding.
Eric, Molly, now she was out of the sewers, attempted to contact her butler once more. Can you hear me?
Miss Molly, are you alright? Are your injuries severe? Eric had picked up Molly's arrival at Cygnus, thanks to Longstaff WarTech's proprietary GPS systems and promptly assumed Molly was taken out of whatever fight she'd gotten herself into.
I'm fine, Eric, Molly answered. Actually... we got a problem. I need you to do a few things for me quick. First I want a small security team assembled and despatched to Cygnus Medical Center, Galaxy City immediately. Then I want you to inform Miss Romanenko and Miss Ledford to get here too. Got that? There was a brief pause before Eric responded.
All done, Miss Molly. Any further orders?
Molly smirked at the mob of Freaks facing her, ready to tear her as many new ones as she had room for. I could use a reload. The smirk widened as she felt her rifle get heavier from the fresh batch of bullets and grenedes materialising within the weapon. -

Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but having recently finished reading Web of Arachnos, wouldn't SR be more accurate?
[EDIT] Also, Brass Monday was Monday, July 11, 1932. >.> -

Instead, why not just put a Level 40 restriction on PI?
[/ QUOTE ]
Because 1) It's a city zone, not a hazard zone, 2) Some of us have reasons to take a char that don't involve PLing/farming and 3) Way to alienate players if there's a Rikti raid there.
Me? I'd fix the sit emotes. No more 'sinking' female ledgesit, no useless sittable that doesn't even work properly and separating the ledgesit emotes themselves. And giving female chars equal sit emotes too. -
Molly had just finished piecing the Mediport device and was ready to set it away, but first:
"Okay," Molly said to Wild with a slight smile. "Brace yourself, it's gonna be a bit of a rough ride!" -
((Would have posted this last night, but the router let me down at the last minute. >.>
)
Molly smirked as she carefully lowered her rifle until she thought it safe to continue. One she felt it was, Molly then drew a tiny object not unlike a screwdriver from behind her belt. The 'screwdriver' didn't actually seem like a screwdriver at first, the end of it being completely cylindrical at first glance. However, just mere seconds after Molly had brandished it, it quickly and near-silently morphed into the necessary shape to allow her to remove the screws from her mediport device.
"Just gimme a minute to work my magic on this," Molly requested as she took apart the device at her own pace "And we'll be in Galaxy faster than you can say 'beam me up, Scotty!'" -
"Woah, wait a sec!" Molly yelled as she reacted as best she could to the attack, scoring a lucky dodge by quickly ducking and following up by swiftly swinging her rifle to Wild's neck. "I was kinda hoping we'd all play nice here and work together against these losers, if only temporarily, but you know, I could just pop you and send you to the Zig right now if you like!" Molly then let out a giggle, which came across as a little sinister, given the current situation. Then again, Molly would face anything with a smile and a giggle most days, not that anyone in the sewers would know. "Pick one and make it quick, okay?"
-
"They are,and you wish!" Molly limped up to Wild with a confident smirk on her face, holding her mediport device in her left hand. "Just need to boost this and we've got an instant two-person teleport straight to Cygnus! Awesome, huh?"
-
You know, Molly -could- tamper with the mediport devices, maybe boost one of them to carry two peeps? >.>

Frustrating as it is, it's also TOTALLY normal on DXP weekends. It's ALWAYS like this, due mainly because of the rubbish internet infrastructure at the German datacentre.

Cryptic needs to understand that some of us like to go into detail and make a good, detailed and catching background story for our characters

NCNC now, not Cryptic.
But anyway, I have to agree with Ravenswing here. And add that if you -really- want to tell people your char's full story, just host it somewhere and toss a link to it into your bio. *shrug* -
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, NO!

I've been getting similar spikes yesterday - take on mob, suffer lag hell, feel useless until mob is dead and lag disappears shortly after - but since Firefox was also reloading sites slower than a tranquilised snail at the time (After I closed CoX see see if it was a prob my end, of course), I couldn't tell if it -was- Union, or just Virgin Media having a hissy fit at the wrong time. :\

"Ungh... oh great..." Molly said as she leaned against the nearest wall, dropping her rifle and taking a good look at the wound in her leg. "That's gonna take a while to heal, isn't it?"
Molly then proceeded to gently touch the wound with her little finger, quickly pulling back and wincing as soon as she learned how bad an idea that was. Then, looking around, barely taking much notice of Ed's actions, Molly decided to finally ask: "Hey, anyone got a bandage? Or a bit of cloth they don't need?" -

Hope you like the idea, and like Professor Farnsworth said

Fansworth also happened to be insane, senile and incompetant. :\
Also, I'm afraid I'd have to agree with Imoba here.

It IS pointless, sorudo. All it takes is for you to actually look where you're clicking among the measly 4 servers available. Not that hard, now, is it?
