Honestly, if this is your first villain, do as much of the higher-end (typically Grandville) content as you can. That stuff is ridiculously fun and just all-around awesome - the Westin Phipps stuff, for example, actually kind of makes you feel bad for what you've done. It's just all really, really cool.

... is often the spawn of creativity. This is what I came up with so far when my connection to the game crapped out (whoo for 2XP weekend!)...

It's not done but I plan to finish... and I'll probably redo the hair. It doesn't look anything like it's supposed to (see my sig...). It's probably the first thing I've actually drawn of any of my characters - I love to draw but I don't do it as often as I'd like. Anyways, this is my official introduction to the art boards. Hi!

My only response to this is that AE is not breaking the game as badly as people think, but just changing the way it feels due to more high-trafficking farms. It's not much different, it's just all centralized and more publicized. If it's that big of a problem, turn of broadcast, use Galaxy City, and form your own teams.

Hello, folks! Day 3 for me here in this strange land on this strange Wednesday at the Rookery. of Strangeness.

Grats! I just hit 50 last night on my PB and a friend of mine hit 50 on his Scrapper. Seems it was a good night to ding 50.

The only person who is allowed to do something like that is Johnny Turbo. And that's only because I gave him permission.

I was thinking about this the other day. I think adding an opacity slider or something would be really cool.

White energy blast with a really low opacity could be like blasts of wind or something.

Really, any server should have a decent non-AE population.

My advice would be to of course make your own teams first and foremost, as that's a pretty effective way to choose the content you want to do.

However, you can also do things like join global channels for your server. I know Virtue has several channels that help people find teams for all sorts of stuff. It's really nifty.

Also, check out your server's forum. Many times there are events and stuff posted (TF runs and whatnot). If you attend those and get your foot in the door, you'll be introducing yourself to many people who do more than just AE content.

And then follow CharybdisClan's advice. People are always willing to do regular content wherever you go, it's just about finding them.

I've come back for day 2!

Honestly, on my 50s, I just do whatever I feel like doing at the moment simply because I can. To me, the joy of having a 50 is being able to do what you want when you want to do it. It may not be the most productive thing, but I enjoy it. If you feel like doing TFs, do some. If you feel like going and getting a few badges, get some.

Overall, this thread has pretty much nailed it.
