Beacuse sunstorm threw a curveball in there and listed one dom power and one blaster power. I fell for it as well, on live the dom version is doing more than the blaster version.

I hear a lot of people say fire tanks are great, but honestly I've noticed most of them suck. I've only seen a handful that can actually play them well.

You can switch fire tanks for pretty much anything there and it would still be true. There are just alot of really bad players in this game.

One of the reasons behind this pvp nerf was to give people with less skill and SO'd builds a chance vs the elite. Sure there are bad players on bad builds, but on some builds even bad players can do well with (regen scrappers for instance). I don't see that very often with fire tanks. Its either they suck or are good, doesnt seem like there's a middle ground like say regen scrappers.

Regen is the end all of easy modes to play and survive on. If they really wanted to make the pvp field even all the time they would switch everyone into psi blast/regens when we entered a zone with hibernate in our epics. -
The last 2 powers in the set are debuffs. Melt armor is pretty meh these days but heat exhaustion is amazing.

What I was implying is all that is left is mostly really bad players. Most of the old players that quit wasn't because they couldn't adapt its because they didn't want to. You plug anyone who was decent in i12 into this system and I promise you they will be just fine. -

I would have expect at the same time for them to say the 10k kb res was a bug. Just seems to be how things play out around here these days. -

It was me, I did the same thing War did and used the blaster number as the current dom number. Still is not going to make much of a change in how things are playing out.

The only 2 squishies I see that are noticeable more survivable than the rest are emps and pain doms. Everything else is nowhere in the same universe as melees are for stoutness. I play everything to and what I see and what you are saying are nowhere close to the same thing.

Earth does -kb and active defense is always up even when mezzed so -10000 res to kb. try a different target.

2 powers that break even those rules mac are wormhole and soulstorm. The kb is part of the animation so regardless how much kb protection you have the animation still tosses you around. Kinda hot that 2 non kb powers can be more effective at something than a full slotted kb power like force bolt.
