How does practice help when I can't hit them? I can practice to not hit them better? The stalker walks right through tar patch, quicksand, volcanic gasses and none of my holds or stuns hit or at least last very long. I had darkest night (massive acc debuff) and the troller uses rad debuffs, but it didn't seem to make any difference.
just don't stop moving in the pvp zone.That's heroes number one rule because of stalkers. Ya defenders and trollers are pretty lolz now.

Do you have tactics?
Did you slot for ACC?
Did you stop moving?
A few suggestions:
Dont stop moving
You're a D3 fender, you have some debuffs, the one debuff your missing is -def, meaning you want to slot for accuracy and global accuracy bonus.

Once I was in RWZ with a Earth/Rad controller and I was there (a D3 defender). Despite all the massive amounts of debuffs, holds, immob, stun, and two pets, he handily beat us both. Exactly how is someone supposed to PvP against that?
Is it just that stalkers are the enemy type I'm completely unable to defeat? Could I possibly have better luck against another AT? Or are defenders and controllers completely useless in PvP now?

Perhaps you meant SR, in which case the pri and sec are mixed up, so you really mean is EM/SR???
If it was SR then he probably only came out of hide while Elude was up to give a tactical advantage. Keep moving would be my suggestion.
some stalkers with skill can keep up to your moving/jumping around.... jump onto random places like rooftops train rails, trees, statues, and stuffs. The best thing you can do though is get on a dedicated PvP team that can defeat stalkers in 4-5 sec while being able to keep you alive. One emp + one rad isn't mush to a stalker. 2 blasters, a storm or FF or rad, and an emp is prolly better against 4 stalkers. So uhhh,,,, ask around for some good pvp experience and team with them.
