Quote:My understanding was that certain people kept trying to stir up drama where there was none, mostly just so they could cause more drama loling at the drama.
The only drama I am aware of is intentional created.
It is unfortunate that Kensei and friends felt that the channel needed a move, and it is unfortunate that people he trusted as ops in the old channel broke that trust.
Its odd how a self fulfilling prophecy always comes true. -
Pain is harder to kill. Poison is easier to kill with. It really comes down to how you like to play, more defensive or offensive.
-
I would stick with the rad pain and mix up your build some. Get as many hp as you can and some +damage. Pain dom is a way underrated set by most people. It gets very nice resistance +tohit and +damage. The regen is very nice even in dr pvp. A good pain dom is next to impossible to kill without being way outnumbered.

Sorry I have offended you Emperess Watermelon. Please bring some of your amusing pvp knowledge in here. Its great to hear your epic stories of how great flying energry blasters are that you almost got to 400 rep after several months of playing.
While I assure you there a great many people who have more skill in pvp than me, my knowledge is pretty dead on most the time. And having to put up like with people like you that think they have a clue makes me a bit rude from time to time. Doesn't exaclty make me wrong though. So from now on how about add something useful or go tell people they suck in local while you get wrecked, *****. -
Quote:Actually I think it will be Thermals getting Heat Exhaustion but thats just me. A T9 crash will take a player out for a while and have a long cooldown while Heat Exhaustion is perhaps the most annoying debuff to a pvp'er, and is/can be up about every minute.
Sadly both are most easily dealt with by running to drone safety, or as I call it pulling a Chido. -
Quote:I think a level cap bump for the zones is good if it encourages a more even spread of activity rather than just mostly RV.
I will put 1 billion inf down this change will not be welcomed by the pvpers who aren't already in rv regularly. Those players who stayed in the low level zones and built for them for the most part with slotting and building that gave them an advantage there. I predict tanks getting their tier 9s in sirens will be the most complained about point. It would have been blasters having their nukes there if this was still pvp 1.0. -
Not sure if they will make it to live or not. But thanks to the new sking system here is a breakdown of zones in i16. Bloody bay you will now have your lvl 30 powers available. Sirens you will have your lvl 35 powers available. Warburg you will have your first tier patron/epic available.

Make an invul tank, they will have unstoppable in sirens in the next issue.

Quote:I think you have no brains because you can't use phase shift immediately after hibernate. They added a 2min cool down that hibernate and phase shift share after ether of them end. But nice try. Pz don't talk about things you know nothing about.
You can use both in the 30 second period before no phase kicks in. -

Give me or Iggy ops.
1 op, so seriously awesome that a channel that was pretty open and friendly and had everyone oped has turned out like that. -
Quote:Call it what you like, sugar coat it as much as you want... you are still actively promoting harassment of a minority group of players. lol, infact Hitler thought he was right too. Consider that.
As if you didn't look silly enough you had to invoke Godwin's law.
And just so you know the fiteklubbbers can have everyone leave them alone 100% of the time by going to the arena. The chance you will be interuppted is just part of the way zone pvp works. I should not have to check with everyone I attack t make sure they are not in a duel, and I never will. If you con orange I will attack, its what I go to a pvp zone for. If I wanted to watch duels I would hang out in pd by a kiosk. Maybe if you would stop being better than the rest of us and relax a little you would se indeed it is you who is missing the point around here. You could also probably get a better grasp of what ingame harrasment is before you start thinking anything like breaking up a zone duel fits the bill. I know people who have been harrassed ingame and to suggest getting a duel interuptted is even in the same realm as what those situations are is just ludacris.
tl;dr version
Crawl down off your cross. Use the wood to build a bridge and get over it. -
Quote:I'm going to make a sapper toon for pvp but i'm not sure which sucks the end out of ur oponent better. I'm debating between Ele/kin corr, elec/therm corr, and Kin/elec deffender. Please post which you think is better and why. Also plz post the must gets for the builds.
The corrs are better than the defender. Scourge makes the difference there. For pure sapping the kin will do it better but it will also be alot easier to avoid. The elec therm is the best of the three builds overall. The autothit self heal is really the key difference. -
Quote:I'm a Union player, and unless im on anything other than my Tank or Scrapper the stalker threat is very real, and very very annoying.
But I guess it's all part of the epic fail that is the new pvp system.
I hear you guys have tons of stalker throwing fish spikes over there. Sounds like a great time. Get some support toons and even up the numbers you should be able to wreck em if thats the only skills they have. Get a rad to toggle em up and an emp to keep your blasters up and you should be good to go. Maybe bring out some earth trollers and stormies to. -
For a beginner build I would probably recommend either fire/ or invul/ and ss. Tons of survivability and decent damage. Though remember to learn from those around you and not get pvpmeleeitis that hits some and actually destroys their brain cells.

Quote:
Stupidly High Damage both melee and at range!
Array of Heals,
Capped stealth,
3 Panic buttons,
They only do decent damage from hide. The only time a stalker is a threat is if he is setting or closing a spike for a team. The rest of the time they are pretty much just an annoyance once you get used to them.
Quote:Stalkers have always been "easymode" but now they are just silly.
I can probably count on two hands the amount of players left who can stalk at a level that anyone would need to worry about. Most of em never even log in. So if you are still having problems with stalkers you probably need to look at your playstyle and builds and see what you can best change. Odds are slim we will ever see anything more than minor tweaks to pvp for some time, so its best to learn to deal with what we have. -

Quote:The difference from perception cap and stealth cap is 10ft. If a stalker has Hide, stealth and Stealth IO 10ft is the best you can hope to achieve.
Veats have a higher perception cap.
Quote:However the thing about stalker now is they are stupidly overpowered hence why there are nothing but them in zones now. -

Quote:'ve been hanging around in RV a lot recently..and I have come to realize, all that I see there are stalkers..and by see, I mean their broadcasts. I have tried a lot of things to take them down, and so far, my tank can only deal with the occasional ninja. So i ask you experienced PvP'ers out there, what is the ideal build to take these guys down? Thanks in advance
Caltrops, tactics and a brain. From there its all up to you. -
