Mystery solved. Havoc punch has a 30% chance to sleep. The proc only fires when both the power hits and the chance for sleep works. So for it to work the completely busted way it has to be in a power with a 100% chance to sleep.

How do you know you were only getting one in three? The bug is it doesn't actually tohit roll for the chance to placate. It goes off the powers tohit roll, therefor the only time the proc misses is when the power it is in misses. If you are seeing something else there may have been an undocumented change to it. I haven't been in game to play much lately so I am not sure.

When they made the changes to how accos exemplar there was a thread with the mass shedding of tears from a good many of people. The loudest of which was Mr Mallninja. Bascially they were upset about working so hard to have all the work erased they had put in. IIRC mall was even more upset as he had recently rerolled a toon to get it it's accos at sirens levels so his rage was hard.

It was in the training room section but is long long since gone.

I find this post hilarious seeing as mallninja was the person who promised this would never change and went on to throw mad nerdrage when they did. That thread was epic and hilarious. Man its awesome having a great memory.

Your 'filler' powers are two of the better powers in the set. Kin can be kinda meh in zones in particular. Not having phase or hiber in zone pvp can be pretty rough. Even on a zone build I would take at least sb and more than likely I would have id to help when the droning begins.

It will really depend on what you are looking to do. Be it zones, arena, team or duels the sets and builds will change quite a bit. My personal favorite troller is my grav cold, and it works well in almost any situation. But I am not sure I would recommend it openly to anyone.

There is no point at all in making a dueling build without those procs. You really need the damage to hang in there. The people you could beat without them is pretty much people you would beat with anything. All things being equal the better loot wins. And sometimes the better loot just wins anyways.

If people ***** about something you do, it means more than likely that you are doing something right. You should have and use elude as much as humanly possible. Use thier tears to wash down the hate they throw at you. Never ever listen to them so much that you stopping using a power that you have avaible. You didn't come to make them happy you came to win.

When they changed de to drop both kinds of salvage I tested and posted that they missed the mitos. It was bugged on live and test, by myself as well as others. I created a thread on it, pmed it to the powers that be and even sported a link to it in my sig for many months as well as bumped it to keep it going.



My conclusion from all this, is it something that ought to be fixed. Is it something that they feel warrants the time it takes to put the effort into, no. I would imagine hami raiders numbers fall about in the same neighborhood as pvpers. It could take a very long time for it ever to get changed if at all because of this. They prefer to focus on fixes that focus on a larger number of the user base.
