the biggest fotm at the moment thanks to the new changes is a wp/ss tank or invul/ss
basically super strength is the key no matter what you use as a primary.
the toohit in rage lets you hit through thier 9's now..everyone uses it and its over kill in r.v. nowadays..i have no doubt like e.m was...ss will get its nerf next time around and like the other nerfs it will be needed
kob has a kb,taunt and hold in one hit ...that goes along ways now not to mention the way they killed kb you need at least 14 kb to not get knocked down for kob alone.
some of the others are ok..but thay extra toohit is king right now..castles brillance at work.. -

My Fire tank has capped S/L def and mad end recovery. He's awesome. I would never, ever play him again w/just SOs. So if the OP wants to know how to play a Fire tank, the answer is IO the hell out of them. Aim for high def, high end recovery, if you can, high regen & recharges as well.
also i went recharge and recov as well on mine....i had a 2nd build for def but never used it and dismantled him as hes now my farmer more then anything.what you can do if you wanna defense him up is to use your 2ndary for the defense bonus's and use recovery bonus's to help you end in your primarys
touch of deaths and guassians and mocking breavements are rgeat..plus the 3% derfense i.o's. then you can use gift of the ancients or impervium armors to help your recov. purples and pvp i.o's help out as well if you can afford em
ive had more fun on my fire tank then any of my tanks...hes an aoe beast and simply pushes out more damage then any tank i have. and its beyond fun...like said above though. hes a later bloomer but in your 30s youll out shine the rest -

my team. = brute,2 stalkers, widow, 2 mm's and 2 corruptors
easily handled them with no issue..
see the issue was the tanks and blaster had hibernate..when 3 of your teammates go into it..thats leaves 5 guys against 8..not good odds by the time they come out..their teamates are dead and they run for cover.
im just saying that everyone and their mom now think thats ss is the win button..and frnkaly its easily taken care of.. like kob kb..i have 14 kb protection..kob wont take me off my feet ever.
i just find it funny that its a spammer button at best. do you people honestly think spamming a few kob's will win the day?.... -
yes here we are...its a new day and a new time..pvp is fixed /balanced/nerfed/broke/etc for the uptine time and with that brings a new fotm to the table

yes!, super strength with its rage and toohit ability to spam knock out blow for people under 14 kb protection
yes!, knock out blow with its knock up/taunt/ AND stun making it the perfect combo for any player who cant figure out what to use with energy transfer not being all it could be anymore!. spam it all day..spam it all night! go for it little troopers! go for it!!!

half the people who post only post from what they see on para wiki. not through actual playing...case in a point when people tell you such and such a.t's are better but they dont actually HAVE one. are only talking from what they seen not what they play. big difference

ive been a fire tank since day one dec 2004..ive seen every nerf and buff a fire tank has to offer . so i know what to expect and when surprises come around.
and yes fire tanks can be built better then wp or invuls...its already been proven..its just up to you if you wanna take the time to build one up or not.
some do..some dont....like anything else in this game it all takes time...lvls come quick.but the right build takes more time then you know -

I am having fun for sure in rv ...however theguys that bring in regen scrappers and believe their unstoppable...well their not having as much fun.

all i know is gfs and incinerate with f.e. and b.u. is awesome...dropping either would be a bad idea imo

so now hes switching toons...well since scrappers are funny as farmers too now..

oh and krunch i wont bother talking about how you lamed up about the fire/kin and changed your toon...however you got 2 months to .l. one..you can get it in two days so get to work son. now that your on the block...put up or get out.
oh and the reason i use a.e. is faster lvling...when you HAVE money...you buy them at whatever price..you dont rely on drops..thats why
this is about farming or p.ling..the POINT of it...is to lvl as fast as possible not get drops.which is why lots of people use a.e. farming...its just simply faster then boring old safe slow missions
oh and ill be glad to frap it all too..
