Surely some sort of story along the lines of infiltrating arachnos and being a 5th columnist could be devised that would provide reason to do a lot of the existing arachnos content but with a covert agenda.
[/ QUOTE ]You've read my Brute's Bio? -
I reckon it'd check for a proc every 10 seconds and try to stun you, if you have no protection. At least, that's the logical assumption.

Not strictly true... Iron Man has had various different coloured repulsor rays including yellow over time
[/ QUOTE ]Which is certainly not a reason why Energy Blast "should" be yellow.
If anything, the Corruptor version should be red for thematic sense and to match Dominators. And, well, because I and at least some people think it'd just be cool. (And they did it for Corruptor Elec Blast) -
As an additional side note, using the power in that mission is completely optional and does not affect the outcome in any way - except maybe lowering your Experience gain when the Infected minions blow up and take the others with them.
-
It actually fits very well because the whole concept of Force Field revolves around keeping stuff outside of the bubbles to protect the team. While the usual buffs can only manage to keep attacks out of it, deflecting them elsewhere, Force Bubble is so powerful it can even deflect foes themselves.

Second time complete of the ITF grants you This Sword
[/ QUOTE ]Holy shi-... Nictus effects included? That sword alone is making me want to roll a BS Scrapper just now. o.o -

(does it at Corruptor scale, with Scourge)
[/ QUOTE ]For Dominators? -
Dark Melee is arguably the best PvE DPS Stalker primary afaik.
Ninjitsu is pretty much THE Stalker secondary, at least for PvE.
DM Stalkers should even surpass Brutes in optimal conditions.
Stalkers are more than capable in terms of scrapping now. 31% crit rate in a full team? Hell yes.
My vote's on the Stalker. And this is coming from a die-hard Brute fan. -

One of the things I like about this game is that you can see how other people have built their character. It gives you insight in to how it might play and ideas that you might not have thought of.
Adding to that in my opinion is a good thing.
[/ QUOTE ]You can already see their power choices. For example, you might not want to invite an Arachnos Soldier who didn't take TT: Maneuvers into your team because that's just silly. -
I'll try to pop in sometime on my Brute, I needs teh Merits.
-
The random dropping I haven't experienced.
However, all buff icons (not just from Invulnerability) seem to have incorrect durations, fading long before the actual buff effect does. This seems to affect all buffs except for Toggles, because Toggles automatically refresh themselves... Which makes it a little awkward for my brother's Defender to keep my Tanker buffed. -
It has no agro range as it isn't a true pet - it cannot be attacked or even targeted.

energy should be yellow

You realise that Acc now scales from 90% to about 70% at 22, right?
[/ QUOTE ]That's a lie the devs want you to believe!
Either that or I'm just so unlucky I don't notice the so-called lowbie accuracy boost. -
I would recommend taking CT: Offensive in the pre-specialization levels and respec it out at 24, to help with the horrible horrible lowbie accuracy.
[censored] I hate making new alts. Friggin half attacks miss. -

3 slotted they would take you to almost 2/3 of an SO and with Leadership you could then knock off an accuracy slot for every attack power...
[/ QUOTE ]...and replace it with an Achilles Heel proc! -
Same here with the AS-bomb thing. Large spikes of damage make it think it fell again for some reason.

Why don't we not let people check builds at all then?
[/ QUOTE ]Excellent suggestion! -
If you look at the current Smite icon, the graphics show it's a Cone, Melee, and High Damage.
Translation, it's the old Shadow Maul icon. -
Stick a Steadfast Protection -KB in Wolf Armor and/or Crab/Bane Armor. They're passives with low values not worth enhancing for Resistance anyway.
Sadly Widows get the lovely KB Protection. -

H-E-double hockey sticks NO!!! Bad enough you can see them, let alone seeing how powerful they are. Next thing you know it'll be "Sorry, you don't have X bonus at Y percentage, won't invite you."
[/ QUOTE ]The man has a point there... Risky suggestion. -

i get what you're saying, but perhaps i think you dont understand why i choose which arch type to be (which is understandable because i havent told you).
unlike a good deal of players that have aproched me in game, im not playing to get to lvl 50 as fast as i can, i'm not here for xp farming, no sir.
I'm here for the story, which is why my first character was a natural martial artest/ super reflex scrapper, i liked the idea of an ordinary bloke doing the hero thing. when CoV came out i look over the power sets, saw some possibities, and when i saw a power set with 2 pistols, i imediatly fell in love, i've always wanted to play a gunslinger
so if they ever add dual pistols to curropters, then yeah, maybe i'll play that, untill then...
[/ QUOTE ]If you're building a petless Blastermind I both applaud you for your boldness and sticking to concept, and weep for you because it's going to be annoying at times. The pistol attacks turn weak somewhere around level 15-20, but they don't stop being cool. :P -
It's a matter of playstyle, MMs are just not for some people - no offense meant, I'm just assuming by your posts that you're not the type of person to play a MM in the sense of preference.
But hey, look at Corruptors. Virtually the same AT as a MM powerset-wise, only with no pets (and therefore no BG mode). In return, more/stronger attacks. Try one of those if you haven't already. -
You need to take Venom Grenade much earlier, it's too good.
Also, you really really really should at least take TT: Maneuvers.
