I can't talk about the finer points, ins and outs, specialist knowledge of Tea. All I can talk about is the fine English institution that is a cup of tea.

Be it a fine Earl Grey, or a simple cuppa made of a PG Tips teabag, there;s nothing more quintessentially English as sitting down at some point in the day to relax with a cup of tea.

I dunno about other cultures, other countries, where tea originated, how it got here, whatever. All I know is......I like a good cuppa!

I don't know why, it just is. My Nanna always swore by a cup of tea at all times of the day. My good lady wife, Rosie, on her radio sets even says on her forum "I'll bring the tea, you bring the biscuits." Like I say....it just is

Coffee, I love a coffe, don't get me wrong, but a cup of tea is a very English thing to do.

And I suspect that's where the games get it from. If you want to suggest something that appeals to all classes of English people, it's a cup of tea. Be you a lower-classes factory worker at the end of a hard days graft, or a upper-class Lord sitting in your mansion, you have a cup of tea. Be it in a fine china cup or a cheap mug from Woolies, you have a cup of tea.

Woah, don't know what's more surprising. The fact that we have two threads about football (there's one already in the Comics and Heroes forum ) or that the World Cup people are considering this!!

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm sort of torn in this. If it's a national tradition etc, it's in keeping with the World Cup being held in South Africa, but honestly, that sound is driving me barmy during the matches!!

Even during the England match last night, which had considerably less of the damn things than other matches, it was still drowning out the real atmosphere of a football match. I could barely hear any singing from the terraces, no football chants, not even the England band. France are already blaming the vuvuzelas for their poor performance as they couldn't hear each other over them (yeah I know, crappy excuse, almost as bad as grey shirts )

The fact that it's being discussed at all shows there must be some issues with them.

Heh, whilst I can appreciate the OP's sentiment about being appreciated, saying thanks for every single SB or buff is getting borderline obsessive

Saying "nice work team" or "wow, we ripped through that lot quick" is a better way of dealing with it.

Threatening to kick or quit because of people not saying thank or please is a bit overboard, sometimes, you simply don't have time to type it out! I know I don't when I'm in full on blapper mode!

Srsly, chill, it's a game and it's meant to be a laugh, if you're enjoying the team, that's thanks enough, if you're not, time to move on, it's easily done, make a polite excuse and go off to find or make a new team, simple as!

I'm gonna go with an obvious one then.

More dance emotes!!

I know that there are new ones coming, but we could do with several more! When we're DJing, we often have several people stood dancing with us, indeed, the other week Mrs ? had a LOT of people stodd under Atlas for her first set, all dancing and it looked great, but there's far too few dance emotes! Add more!

Styles I'd suggest.

Air Guitar (the most obvious )
Headbanger (think Beavis and Butthead, one had in the air, headback and forth in time to the music)
Moonwalk
Thriller
Hammer Time
Elvis style
Slow Dance (2 people huging each other, slowly shuffling around each other a la school disco for the slow songs )
Disco (think Saturday Night Fever)

I'm sure others will come up with a far better list, but that's a start, especially the first 2!! (not that I'm biased as a Rock DJ, you understand )

The same would probably apply with emotes, more the better, adds a lot more immersion and fun to the game, especially if the interface is easy to use
