How anyone can doubt this film after the first two from Nolan is beyond me
I thought the first two were amazing, great interpretations of the Batman mythology as Nolan wanted to present them, and captured a lot what I love about the character. I have no doubts for the next one at all
Saying that it's up against Whedon's Avengers, so it's going to be a slugfest! -
Another sad loss, always been a big fan of the Guardian and the Newsboy Legion
Lot of big names going recently. -
Awww man!!
Avatea, on behalf of everyone at Rogues Radio, you will be truly missed! You've been immensely helpful to us over the past year or two as we got the station running and one of the high points was when Rosie got to interview you (she still talks about it!)
Take care in all you do and we wish you all the best for future! -
Oh HELL YES!!!!
This movie is DJ Coin Approved -
Sorry Riffster, I'm going with the masses here
I've never had an issue, always works flawlessly, loads the game up fine, easy to use, it's set to close after starting the game and has never crashed or not worked for me.
Only time I leave it open is when I know there's a patch coming, and it preloads it for me then. Other than that, unexpected patches download hellafast (usually my entire bandwidth or close to it) and installs quickly as well.
It sure ain't a dealbreaker for me in any way shape or form -
I have Skype twice, my own and one for Rogues Radio as well.
Send me a PM with the relevant details and we can sort things out from there. -
Quote:Yup, saw that nowThe winners have been posted on the Real World Hero site.
BTW, Congrats to Coin on winning the one-on-one tutorial time with Samuraiko.
And yes, looking forward to spending some quality time with the good lady herself! -
As the 9th Doctor would say.....Fantastic!!
I know there's still a lot missing, possibly forever, but still, this is incredible -
Hey Mr Wentworth, any chance we can get a list of who won what at all? I have NO idea who won the Rogues Radio set or what DJ they want!
All I know is how much they paid. ($150!!!) -
Ye gods, Durakken, do you ever read the stuff you write??
For starters you said
Quote:I have no idea where you got this from, he actually got the name from Robin from Robin Hood, have a read of this interview for some actual reality. So much for your "genius"."I came up with the name for Robin" Uhhh dude your name is Robinson... it doesn't take a genius to see that if you did it was more like "Why not name it after me?!" lame
As for who created the Joker, you know what? We'll never know! 3 different people involved in it give differing stories, so it's good how you are so sure that you are right, given that it's been debated for years now.
But regardless, Jerry Robinson was involved in the creation of some of the most beloved characters in the history of comic books, he was one of the founding fathers of the Batman legacy and from what I've been reading about him, he's been a tireless campaigner for creators rights in the comic industry, so for that, he gets my respect. -
Wow. Nice timing for the lack of respect there, Durakken.

Quote:heh, not a rep as much as a manager in one of the UK storesA Build-A-Bear rep, eh? The people who put together that tree are big fans of the store. They even got a Build-A-Bear passport filled with stamps as they went to stores around the world for the rest of the bears.
To answer your question: The bears were paid for by the person who donated the tree to Festival Of Trees.
The person who in turn purchased the tree was a personal friend and so, at my request, they listed the buyer as Real World Hero to support me supporting this charity event, too.I spend all my days helping to make these bears hence me recognising so many of them! (Really not helping my Rock God image here, am I
)
Nice to see them going to such good homes though. -

Hey All
Just wanted to add, Rogues Radio is pleased to be supporting this awesome event again! In the auction you can bid again for the DJ of your choice to do a 2 hour set, where YOU get to choose the music for the show and the DJ HAS to play it.......even if it's Muse
Bids are already coming in, we have a bid for $50 dollars so far, but there's still time to get a bid in if you want to steal it back!
On a more personal note, the second of those pictures, I recognise almost all of those bears and outfits as they are from the company I work for in the dreaded RL! Where these paid for by the charity drive?? If so, that's awesome work -
If he uses Steam, could you gift him it on that? Not sure how it would work with a previous account, but he should at least get that first month free, especially when they do their offers to get it cheap

Not sure how many people in the US actually got to see this series, but for those of you who did, here are the movie poster parodies!
A small, round headed buffoon! -
My good lady, Rosie, nearly bought me one of these yesterday.....
I think that's fair grounds for divorce, yeah? -
Archiviste, those links are excellent, thanks for that
Looks like nothing coming out for the New 52 next week though, this some sort of skip week?? -
I'm aware of that Durakken, 4 weeks, 52 comics, that's simple maths, but there have also been other ones come out, such as the Penguin mini-series, the Shade mini-series etc. Not completely sure they are part of the New 52 or not, but I don't like to miss them anyway and sometimes they can be hidden on the shelves. Websites can help minimize this.
-
Anyone out there know of a good site for listings of what comics have come out each week? Specifically the DC New 52.
Being in the UK I can never be sure that I've got all of them and have almost missed a couple of them recently that have been part of the New 52, I think.
Any site that gives a definitive list each week, preferably split by publisher and /or week, would be amazing -
I don't think all three of the Miss Piggy ones are actually Miss Piggy. The one portraying Melanie Bush may well be Annie Sue, Miss Piggy's rival!
I';m sure there have been other female pigs in the show's history as well, such as Lydia the tattooed pig, but she's definately not one of the ones in the pic
Edit: In fact, the rose Tyler one looks a lot like Spamela Hamderson
