Sort of a get twenty Emps in a day kinda thing.
I've never been keen on repetitively farmin' things over and over again, which is what this is to me. Even for those that ran BAFs again and again, I wouldn't stick around. So, for me, to do the same thing over and over again, with no real regard for the rewards, doesn't entice me at all. Plus, it's easy to get burned out that way. Why not rotate the iTrials so that you still get Emps, and you don't get turned off from'em.

I have a second account (so my brother could try the game and I wanted to try dual boxing myself) and I subscribed it so I can start incarnating my one toon on it. Problem is even with the new DA its still difficult. I try and get on whatever trials i can but not many are run at 6 to 8 west coast time. (friday night and only found the 1 keyes ) Yes I can hear it already, "Start a trial yourself". Two responses for that, I've asked numerous times if there was any interest in a BAF or LAM and the globals remain quiet. Also, I dont like leading. Having to explain everything and spam all the different channels and keep track of PM's, whats going on in each channel, and in league speak. It's a bit overwhelming and I applaud our regular's who are putting trials together for being able to do it.
Yeah, I'd be one o' those people that would tell someone to start one on their own. Honestly, it gets easier as you go on. Some people even create macros to cover the big points for the specific iTrials.

As for the querin' channels, that's almost never worked or gotten a large response. The best way to see if there's interest is to simply start formin' one up.

But anyways, does a multi run of DD sound interesting to anyone? I only ran it once but it didnt seem like it took too long. Plus I'm sure if our big name veterans were involved it would be a cake walk. (You know who you are)
When it comes to multi-runs, for me especially, this is only o' interest when there's a badge involved (Avoids The Green Stuff, et al). Or if I've already done a Lambda, and there's another later that has trouble gettin' some bodies, I might just in and help out. But beyond that, if the intent is to farm it for Emps, not so much.

But yeah, not explicitly trying to form this up but rather hear what people think about such a thing. I think if the end of the sub starts creeping up and I'm still not T4 across the board I'd push more for this idea. Also excuse whatever typo's or whatnot. Havent gone to bed yet but will in a moment. Be back in about 6 or 7 hours Champions.
Best bit o' advice I can offer is that when you aren't involved in iTrials, work on the solo content in DA. Previously, this obviously wasn't available to us, so in combination, you should be able to advance your character durin' lulls. Even easier since you can put yourself in the queue while in missions.

Along those lines, I believe I heard about somethin' comin' to the Market that was a Team version o' the Mission Teleporter/Transporter.

I totally support any efforts to include/introduce any version of mechs in this game, mainly because it totally fits into the superhero genre.

But this is Posi we are talking about. He will be able to generate the hype but I'm not so sure his ideas have the support that they need to really get off the ground.

I mean, he's got my support, but then again he will have to have the rest of the dev teams support and marketing and well... Marketing isn't exactly what I'd call supportive.
    Perhaps.

Or he's not allowed to announce it this far in advance. Competition and all.

    Who knows.

If it happens, great. I'm excited over the mere possibility. If not, bummer, but I have no one else to blame other than myself for lettin' it get to that level o' excitement for me.

Thus the question mark in the thread title. And stated in the OP as to what are the chances based on the evidence I presented.
  7. Dark/Dark dom from 1-44.

    Fin.

Viper II style from Virtual On?
  9. This post by Positron, and specifically the part where he says, "piloting something that you wouldn't have access to your normal powers while controlling it" leads me to believe that we could get Mechs in the near future. There's already some models in the game with Malta Zeus' and Kronos Titan. Possible? Sure.

Then he goes on to mention this tidbit in his interview with Onrpg.com about a costume set that he would like to have, quoted here: "If I were to get any costume set it would be a Japanese anime-style mecha suit, that sort of angled, venty, armor that was big in the 1980’s and 90’s."

So, Champion et al, what do you think our chances are o' gettin' personal Mechs as a powerset in 2012?

    Yes.
  11. FYI, iTrials now generally form up in DA (access through PI and Grandville) in The Bulwark neighborhood, not RWZ.
  12. I wasn't playin' the MM, but I did see this on a Lambda last night. Bots ran in and caused some inadvertent aggro.

    Trials?

He does from time to time, but not regularly due to his work schedule.
But yes, they're run regularly around 6-7pm Eastern week nights.
As for the failed BAFs last night, I was shocked when I heard about it. I jumped in on the third run, and some other people switched to level-shifted characters, and we were successful. I'm more o' the mindset that it was a fluke with new people versus our very successful history with iTrials.

    Low

I've had probably half a dozen purples drop from just doin' Incarnate Trials, which is actually an marked improvement to my normal drop rate.

It's the RNG. Pure and simple.

    Big Bang Theory

I've been told to watch this show, and this might be what gets me to do it.

On a side note, if you ever watch Grandma's Boy, there's a CoH poster.
  20. CoH has my vote, obviously.

Quite the disparity in that list, though.
  21. Thank you for the invite and very smoothly run DD trial.
