  1. If they don't come equipped with the "FREEM" sound effect, I don't want them.
  2. This news is like opening up a Christmas Present and finding out it's underwear from Grandma. And she STILL doesn't know your size.

I will join everyone here and say "Thank You" for all your hard work. I am not a numbers guy, and sometimes your posts left me a bit confused, but I truly appreciated the fact that you took the time to post and keep us posted.

I am sure you'll be moving on to bigger and better things and I wish you all the best.

    Brrrr-ZAP!

In all honesty, I made the macros out of a purely selfish reason.. I HATED having to SB everyone all the time because of my playstyle. I use the number pad to fire all my powers in 3 trays and select mobs. I only switch to the mouse for reticule powers.

Any power that focuses on a team mate makes me have to get the mouse and find them on the team window and select them. This took too long and I ended up not doing anything else, but trying to find the right team mate and sb them.

This way is a lot more efficient and allows my kin to really rock on a team.

I wouldn't marry SB, because you just know that SB would be invited to all the great parties and I wouldn't make it past the bouncer. SB would be passed around to almost all the party goers and come home with who knows what communicable things.... Not that we would be able to marry anyway. The religious extremists would say it's breaking the sanctity of marriage and the cause of the destruction of all family values. Then Phelps would get involved and soon they'd be saying that it leads to wanting to marry pets, trees, buildings, and statues.

We'll just live in sin for a while.
  4. My Kin characters have a tray dedicated to SB. I created macros SB1- SB8 that select a teammate and give speed boost.

At the start of a team, I ask who doesn't want SB. I move those macro buttons representing their positions in the team window (and my own) to the right side of the tray (starting at slot zero and working backwards.)

The ones who want it, start in slot 1 and work forwards. The tank(s) get the first slots. I then apply SB by double clicking the macro (since 1 click won't do it) starting in slot 1 to the empty slot.

Using Herostats, I can tell when the buff is about to end, and re-apply. Since I have 2 recharges in SB, it takes a few seconds to apply all the buffs. If someone isn't close enough to me, they miss that round. If I am heavily engaged in fighting or surviving, oh well, I'll do it when I am free.

I've really only had one person bug me for SB, he was my best friend.. and I no long play with him. No one else has complained.

I would totally buy Utopios and a host of other CoH products. In fact if I were the CoH marketing team, I'd try to get those Pepsi products that were made up in that other thread, made for real, I'd buy those.

There is so much money to be made off those of us who would buy that stuff, plus it'd make the brand name more well known. People seeing City Of Heroes cereal might ask around and be like, whoa that's from a game? Where do I sign up?
I would so buy a box of Utopios. They would sit next to my box of "Ceezy Poofs"!
  6. I have to weigh in on this issue. I go for option 1. I have a hard time designing costumes because much of the older pieces just look so flat/dull. Trying to combine them with newer designs just doesn't work. Plus, when you look at things like tight pants, the characters calves have hard edges and points. Very unrealistic. Keeping both pieces just makes the the lists even longer and more cluttered.

I know that menu changes aren't an easy thing, but I, too, would like to see the costumes/options lists cleaned up a little, maybe like the way the emotes listing works in chat.

i.e. instead of having ALL the greek letters listed, just put Greek Letters and have a sub menu with all the letters. That can also be done with something like the "chain wrap" options. It makes going through the list a real chore.

And the moment you do, every idiot that likes to make things difficult would take a pet through right away after the servers spun up.

Sorry, I was making a joke there (and showing my age). It's based on an old routine that went something like:

Man: "Did you know that every 15 minutes, a man gets hit by a car?"
Not so bright woman: "Oh, that poor man."

I was playing the part of "Not so bright woman" (and you people can keep those remarks to yourself! )

On the subject of Irony... I find it quite ironic that when I first complained about taking away our choice to accept, I was jumped on so hard that my bones were ground to dust...

To add to said Irony... I am now one of the people who doesn't want the pop up! (Although I had created a bind to the "y" and "n" key to compensate for it.. so I'll just use them again.)

    • Midnighter Club – Fixed a bug that sometimes caused characters to get stuck in the ground when moving between the Midnighter Club and Cimerora. The previous fix stopped working as soon as a player took a pet through the portal, and would not start working again until the shard was restarted.
Wouldn't it have been easier to just tell that player not to take their pet through the portal?

Welcome to the forums Skippy... Hopefully this gang won't go too rough on you!

    Gaming Survey

I filled in your survey, but my main issue is that many of the questions are not simple yes or no questions.

I would have appreciated the chance to explain some of my answers, i.e. because a yes answer is not for the reason the question implies.

Also, the final question felt like you wanted me to answer yes, but I replied no and I would have liked to have provided examples.

The zone has a giant monster.. it's called Adamastor. He's a huge stomping lizard demon thing that lives in the graveyard.

    Mikey the Ear

I always go to PO at 5 or 6, so it's not level lateness that helps determine.

It's not the contact after HT, because I have chosen both.

I think it's just a bad random generation.

One of the big problems with the Brokers/Detectives is that teammates with a different broker/detective can't co-op complete a mayhem/safeguard. (Same with capes/aura's on the villain side)

    Mikey the Ear

I thought it was random, but there seem to be a few brokers/detectives I have never had. I think someone needs to kick the randomizer.

Drea isn't as bad now that I have Ninja Run at level 4..

Has anyone gotten Mikey The Ear as their Broker in Port Oakes lately? I think I got him once since the villains started and in the 30 or so villains I have created since, I always get Drea the Hook.

For some reason, I HATE Drea.

You can color them? Must take a lot of patience and a VERY small paintbrush... but, what if I wanted a blue one? Can I have a blue one? PLEASE?
