Well I have 2 SG's and 1 VG that I founded on my home server 4 years ago. In that time I have made a network of friends who have joined and stayed in the SG. Many have been in there for 3+ years and we generally have a good time with each other. Prestige comes in for ranking reasons as all 3 bases have everything we need. A little over 2-3 years ago our VG was robbed by a fellow friend that was with us for a little over a year, in order to please her new boyfriend that was new to the game. This basically changed the way we rank people. Not to say that it changes the way we treat each other, we have an SG website and forums with goals etc.. one of the goals is to out do each other with prestige its more competitive stuff that we joke with each other with. We are friendly and helpful towards one another.. all this resulted in having 3 top 35 (out of top 100) SG's on Justice. (Our main one is 13, our next one is 28 and then our VG is 34.)

I am not going to say prestige matters, we are not prestige grinders in a PL sort of way. But we do play a lot and we have roughly 20 poeple that play in all 3 SG's together and we are generally goof balls that like to have fun while doing it. I understand they are some SG's out there that spam in atlas etc.. but our SG is mainly a network of real In game friends that have joined and have alts in.

Prestige is just a tool used by competitve people to keep compitition and goals alive to entertain some folks. Sometimes thats a good thing Whats imprtant to one may not be whats important to another. I guess it depends on the circumstances. Just because an SG is bigger or smaller doesn't make it better.. its the peoeple that are in the Sg that make it better. Prestige is completely secondary.

I am proud of my friends that have accomplished that feat, (3 top 35) Its not ego or gloating just something that we never though would happend 4 years ago when we started. Its just something that happend, and for that we should be proud At the same time we don;t look down at others in any way, as its not THAT important and does not change our playstyle when we team with each other.

I do agree once you have everything you want/need in a base its hard to figure out what else to do with the extra prestige O.o

Well I think the OP made it clear he was looking for Celebrity status. Its obvious that Giggles and others from Iggy's post fit that bill in an unbiased way. You don't have to be liked to be a celebrity. I was just staying on track with what the OP was trying to ask.

However, if this thread was about Who was the most liked, or most disliked. Then the criteria would be different, and your quote above would have perfect logic. But its not, its simply about "Celebrity's" Like Baalat mentioned earlier even OJ is a celebrity regardless if you (general not you specifically) believe he is a genuinely nice person or not. You don't have to like the folks to admit it. This isn't the Justice Hall of Fame or anything just a post someone made LOL.

Come to think of it, I am still unclear as to why this post was made, but hey its been 25 pages of people boasting each other, so I'm enjoying seeing folks recognize one anothers accomplishments in an unbiased way.

Only damage will break TK, I believe. Toggling on your Rad debuffs won't do anything (but even then it's what, a six-second window).

I got along well with both Giggles and Misty Dare. I started teaming with Giggles right after CoV started, and bless his heart, he stayed up until 3 am for my first villain 50.

Both Giggles and Misty would come to my rescue while I was trying to get shivans many times (so if you feel you got ganked after killing a pve'er like me, yes, it was my fault). I know they both could be annoying, but they also were good people. It just depended how you conned.

Giggles was a cool guy when you got to know him. It was the other folks that didn't know him that hated him.

But in regards of "Celebrity" you don't have to be liked to be a celebrity. Giggles fits the bill. He left the game in November and yet the harsh things he did to certain folks are still remembered. To stay on topic of this thread to put it short. YES Giggles is a Celebrity on Justice. As many others are, some good some bad but a celebrity non-the less. Everyone at one time either knew or heard of Giggles from i6 - i12.

We all know how he lived and died pvp, but he was genuinely a nice guy. (Sure sometimes he has a case of the gimme's but he was still a good dude to those that knew him.)

Hi Five I have a 50 AR/KIN/BS ruptor its absolutley fun as heck... Having the web aoe then FS then Full auto and ignite with flame thrower watch all the scourage scourage scourage!! really fun stuff..

I found that my AR/KIN did much more damage than my AR/device blaster (which I deleted) hence Fulcrum Shift and Siphon Power FTW!!

It didn't really start to shine until the mid 30's. But from that point it got really fun in PvE.

Philly you have always been an asset to this community in a lot of ways. I am sure many of us will miss you and your events

I was thinking it would be neat to have a two part feature for bases.

1. Be able to name items or give them sur-names. (not just items but our creations that we would have made with desks or block's, lamps, etc..) allow us a feature that would be able to highlight the newly made item as a whole and give us the ability to name it.

2. Once its named, its then recognized as its own feature. Thus if you wanted to move the whole thing to another room you would be able to. (This would be a dream for a base builder like me that builds many things and hates having to tear something down to rebuild it again, simply because it would look good in another room.)

There should also be a neat edit button for the item in case you wanted to add things too it.

Anyways it was just a thought, I am not sure if the game can do this but I think it would be a neat feature.
