1. Is your power tray full?

If there's no room for any other powers to be placed in your tray, it won't put it there. If that's the case, click the arrow on top of the tray to add another one to your power window. Then change the second one from 1 to 2 by clicking the arrow to the right of the number. Then go to the Power menu (pressing P should bring it up) and drag your powers down to the trays in whatever order you like.

Sorry sunshine, I just always think of anything of that sort as a farm due to the way I was growed up. Being brought in on my lvl 1 tank into a farm (bunch-o 50s running for the drops, me there for the PL) was called a farm, and I just assumed they were the same. In essence, it really is IMHO because some are farming drops/tickets and influence, some are PL'ing. That's just me though.

My apologies and I shall not make the same error again.

And yes, I am happy too.
3. I just have to say this part....

HAHAHA! No more bridging! <haven't read the entire thread so sorry if this has been asked> Is this to include the AE Farms where somebody is auto-promoted to lvl 45, one or two members are 50 and the other 6 the 45s, and all the mobs are 54?

SO happy about this one. I thought it couldn't be done.... thought the farms couldn't be stopped. But I was wrong.

Also, e-mail changes-- superb. Bye bye RMT spammers!

<uber excited about this issue now>
4. Right, sorry for silly question, but what is a "legacy bug?" I assume something that's been around for a while, but just want some clarification.

it says you have to have a 1000 or more points at the end of a cycle. What or how long is a cycle and what do you have to do to get these points?
To get it you have to have 1000 points in RV and have heroes win. That's the "cycle" and the points.

Best way is to usually get a group together and go for the AVs as they spawn in the zone after 3? 4? pillboxes get taken over. They're worth a mess of points.

That should make for an entertaining thread.

I'm actually leveling a kin/rad at the moment. I was wanting to do a Citadel TF, and was waiting for a tell to come in asking me to join. While waiting, I soloed. Not bad really, especially once I got fulcrum shift.

Then, I decided "why wait, make your own team!" Took me 30 minutes and thank goodness I had patient people, but with only 2 bites from my global channels, I finally went to search and sent mass tells. Had some people not respond, some not wanting to join, but I got my team going with the minimum amount. I looked for the standard ATs, a fender or two, a troller, couple of tanks and scrappers and a blaster, but settled for what I could get. Turns out that was the best team I've ever run Citadel with. Very few team wipes. It was beautiful.

TL;DR: Search is your friend. May take you a while and some people may not want to join, but even redside you can make a team with some effort.

BTW: AE is the latest FOTM to blame. Before it was Demon farms. Yes, it's difficult, but man, is it worth it. Most people wanting to team these days on any regular content is usually good at what they do.

Frankly, uBB was, and is, a pile of garbage. It should have been abandoned a long time ago, but wasn't due to time/money/etc. Now that NCSoft owns CoH, it's possible to take the trash to the curb.
Eh, it's not the uBB I don't like. I used to mod a uBB board back in the day. I just liked the design scheme of the last boards and the way it was set up. I don't dislike the learning curve, as for me there is none, just the aesthetics.

13. Nice! I want to go there some day. You make me jealous. >
14. I'd be happy to help out with a spot of the TF forming. I'm hoping to have my mother take care of my baby on Friday, so I could do some blueside runs during the day (prolly from when servers come back until 4pm central.) I've got a kin/rad in the low 20's now, maybe by next week should be.... well, same level. 22 or 23. So we could do a Sister/Moonfire, Citadel/Hess, then maybe throw in a respec or something. Be a mess of fun.

Rest of the weekend I could do stuff late at night, after 9pm central.
15. Hey, while you're there would you mind picking me up an Eliza Dushku? I'll get you my mailing address, just send it CoD.

The SG I'm currently in blueside isn't all for PvP, but I know one that would be good to talk to-- Dream Team. Check out the "Tour of Dream Team Base" thread to contact; they're the best ones I can think of ATM.

Well, by BEST I meant "only ones I can think of that I know for a fact are more into PvP than most other people I meet in the game," rather than "best at PvP ever."

They keep forgetting about the spawn slider coming. >

[/ QUOTE ]
You do realize that the spawn slider, unless enabled for AE missions, is meant as a tool to attract people to farm the normal game content, where the Devs actually have much better control over exploits and Risk vs Reward concepts, right?

[/ QUOTE ]

Which is bril, because the market prices for Purples and such are fantastically high. Getting one or two people to run a demon farm set to 8 without begging for fillers will be great for all parties; no "fill?" followed by invite, more drops to go in the market, more balanced risk:reward ratio, and it will make people actually LEARN how to play their build.
19. Open up your combat attributes screen (from Powers then the Combat Attributes at the top of that menu.) Look for anything you want to monitor, right click on it and select "Monitor this attribute" or something to that effect.

Global Issue

Haven't tried that. Tonight I joined a new global channel, but I was able to talk in the globals for about 20 minutes after that. I'm gonna try a restart and see if that works; if not, I'll do the add/remove global friend thingie.

Edit-- or, it would seem simply zoning fixed the problem. Thanks for the help.

Global Issue

Okay, is anybody else having problems with globals?

The only person I've been able to talk to lately is one member in my SG who is telling me globals aren't down for him. However, when I click on a name and select "Get Global Name," nothing happens. Nothing is being entered in my global channels when I type. My SG mate is telling me when they click my name, they get the message that I'm hidden, when I have no hide options checked. They say nobody else seems to be having issues with globals.

I haven't yet had a chance to go out and ask on broadcast since I've been in a mission.
22. Nope. Once you select your powersets and go into the game, it's done, locked, can only respec the choices from the powersets you have and levels you got them at.

All it means is now when you roll a new toon, you can have the option of selecting these new sets.

There are plenty of people on Guardian who still wish to do regular missions. Last night in fact I did a PuG Citadel.

[/ QUOTE ]

And I ran a PuG Synapse last night. And a PuG Citadel and ITF the night before. I tend to only recruit from the Guardian and Level 50 channels though. If you don't belong to one of those, I recommend that you join. I believe that I did see you listed in the Guardian channel list a few times though. *shrug* Keep your eyes open.

[/ QUOTE ]

I saw the Synapse in the Guardian Channel. And I also did a PuG Respec from the Guardian channel. I generally don't do regular mission teams, rather I do task force teams. That's my preference, however.

But Global Channels are the best bet indeed. Team search window as well, but always follow their requests in the search description field. Don't send an invite to a "No blinds" person without asking first, if they say they only want a specific TF or people their level or higher, etc.

The Guardian channel is open to all, but you won't be able to talk until a channel op grants you that right. Took me 5 minutes to get it. Level 50.... well, I don't go there because I accidentally left it. :/
24. There are plenty of people on Guardian who still wish to do regular missions. Last night in fact I did a PuG Citadel. People out there wish to do non-AE stuff, it's just a matter of doing a little more work than in the past.

Send me a tell in-game when you're on Guardian anytime and I'd be happy to team up with you. I've got a few lvl 20's I'd love to get up there, and they're not that great on the soloing, and my 50's I'd be happy to exemp down. Global is my forum name.

I just kind of have a feeling that with 2XP weekend coming up and the hopes that the AE will be exempt from the double XP, we'll get more people out of AE and into the real world. Until then, those of us that really want to play will be forced to muck through a little longer.
