Level Ability Problem

When I level up in city of villians it lets you choose your next weapon attack or whatever well I choose it and it wont let me get the ability an use it whats wrong here ?

I have the trail verson I dont know if that has anything to do with it

What level are you talking about? Trial accounts are only allowed up to level 14. It might be that you gain xp to when you would get to level 15 but cannot level up because you cannot be level 15.

Auto abilities are always on, and don't need to be placed on your button bar to work.

If your tray is full of buttons, a new toggle or click power may not show. You'll need to open another button bar by clicking the upward pointing error on the upper right, and then place the power from the power menu on it.

Also, if you're level 14 and on trial, that's as high as you get to go.

Also, some powers are situational. For example they may only work on teammates, or dead teammates, or the area of effect must be chosen after the power is activated.

My power Levels you knoiw the new weapon skills you basically earn they wont appear in the quick menu even if i upgrade to that power skill its annoying i cant use all my skills even tho when i level i pick it then in the quick menu it wont apear meaning i cant use it basically

Yes. I suggest that you tell us what you picked. As others have already told you, you're not giving us enough information to help you.

What power did you pick? At what level? What level are you now?

Sorry I think I am level 8 But my first skill is nimble slash then it would go power slash then ablating strike then assassin's blades and i am an assassin class

But power slash is my second skill i learned an i actually started off with that too but my problem is say i have power slash and in the menu where you upgrade you click the next one I guess to get the move well I do and then look in my quick menu and its not there its greyed out I gues meaning I cant use it my problem is how do I get the skills if I know that I clicked them in the level up menu but it wont let me use them for ssome reason ?

Is your power tray full?

If there's no room for any other powers to be placed in your tray, it won't put it there. If that's the case, click the arrow on top of the tray to add another one to your power window. Then change the second one from 1 to 2 by clicking the arrow to the right of the number. Then go to the Power menu (pressing P should bring it up) and drag your powers down to the trays in whatever order you like.

Nevermind guy figured out the problem i guess when i went to choose my power skills in the beginning i choose power slash so i couldnt i guess choose anything above it until i had nimble slash an it works now just going to be alittle behind of things tho but oh well thanks anyways

No, that's not right...you don't need to take powers in any particular order, but they do only become available at certain levels. Since you said you were playing an "assassin class" I'm assuming your character is a Stalker. In which case:

Nimble Slash at level 1+
Power Slice at level 1+
Ablating Strike at level 2+
Assassin's Blades at level 6+
Build Up at level 8+, etc.

Note that you don't need to take Nimble Slash, Power Slice, Ablating Strike and Assassin's Blades to get access to Build Up, and you don't have to take the preceding powers in any particular order (or at all). All the powers that you don't have access to at a given level will be greyed out when you level up.

I have to wonder if you're talking about your "powers" tab rather than the actual level up selection. Your "Powers" tab will show all powers that you could possibly have access to, but they will be greyed out if you haven't trained them.
