Quote:Indeed! Either it wasn't up when I first checked, or I missed it. Either way, cool beans, I'll add it to the spreadsheet now.I'm also seeing the Roman stuff both as a bundle and single pieces. Roman bundle says it comes with the shields, but doesn't mention the bow that it had back then.
(By the way, the Cupid Bow from the original Roman pack is NOT available on the Paragon Market at this time.)
EDIT: Cool beans, I just received word that these are back for good. There will be an official announcement next week. -
Quote:I did not know that.Just to note there is no level 20 requirement anymore. A brand new VIP player can create an EAT as their very first character.
*snrk* So wrong... so funny, but so wrong... -
Quote:Heh, I always thought Performance Shifter was a classic arcade joystick. Turns out it's a stick shift. (Which I suppose makes more sense.)I know! Like Energy Manipulator is a DIAL. Three and a half years playing, I always thought that thing was a coconut. For the life of me I couldn't figure out what a coconut had to do with endurance modification.

Quote:Suddenly: The Rock cares what you think!Yes, they botched Staff Fighting so badly that over half the brutes & scrappers I've teamed with this past month have been Staff.
The shareholders would be throwing Paragon a block party if only all powersets could fail as badly as Staff.

Quote:Um, they didn't design anything new for the Banished Pantheon. The female Pantheon members that they added for i22 use existing costume pieces, mostly from the Mutant pack.If they would finally put out the Banished Pantheon pack (as they implied to us they would, "all costumes designed for NPCs would be designed with Player Ports in Mind" or whatever it was, guess that plan got left behind too) I might be willing to buy another time card...

EDIT: OP and spreadsheet have been updated. -
Yeah, I'm just gonna say this: after so many years of people asking for a quiver, it's going to annoy me greatly if they charge for it. I sincerely hope that if it ends up in the store, it at least goes up as a Freedom Freebie for the release week.

Just an FYI, between of the patch tomorrow and my part time job schedule, it'll be late afternoon before I'm able to get the spreadsheet updated.
I had intended to do the update before going in to work, but the patch time is designated to end at the same time I'm scheduled to start my shift. Apologies for any inconvenience. -

Quote:There is. Schedule one on your home server's forum, and have everyone meet in Warburg for a giant brawl. (Of course, that requires level 30+ characters.)Wow 400 PVP rep is a grind, I wish there was a way to just do a big FFA PVP event or something fun.
Quote:I mean even doing 1 rep a minute would still take 400 mins... like 6.5 hours.
But I was also simultaneously farming for two accounts: mine, and my at-the-time girlfriend's. I stocked up on wakeys, parked all of our characters against the south wall of Warburg, and would take turns defeating all the characters with one of our badge hunters. (Also, keep in mind that defeating someone that has at least 20 more PVP rep points than you gives you 5 BONUS rep points--since I had more 30+ characters, I always made sure she had at least 20 more rep points than me every time I switched off to defeat her, ensuring I got 6 points for taking out her badger.) -
Thread necromancy aside, no, City of Heroes wouldn't work on an Xbox 360... CoH is a game that uses OpenGL graphics, while the Xbox hardware uses a derivative of DirectX.
I do suppose it'd technically be possible to port to PS3, since the system supports OpenGL, but I doubt the developers want to support another release version. After all, they still don't officially support Linux (players have created scripts allowing the Mac port to be run on Linux). And the original developers of the CoH software, Cryptic Studios, had intended to port their next game(s) over to PS3, but those ports were scrapped for one reason or another. -
Radiation Armor is a definite yes--it's the power set that was crowdsourced during the discussion at the last Player Summit. However, there are no definitive power names nor a release estimate at this time. It won't be out until after Bio Armor and Nature Affinity for sure.
Radiation Melee has not been officially commented on by developers. It might be in development, it might not, but the devs aren't saying anything. (I, personally, have not heard anything concrete about it... just rumors from a few somewhat unreputable sources.) -
The two systems are tied to the same server. You won't lose them on any existing characters, but it's possible that you might not have access to them if you create a brand new character... at least until the maintenance period is over.

Put simply, some ATI drivers work better than others for CoH. There's a thread about which drivers are best for CoH compatibility here.
It looks like the 12.4 driver is currently the best (though I personally am still running 11.9). -
Quote:Basically what Forbin said.If the devs did decide to do this it would be great, but I don't see it happening when they are already giving people a bonus for buying points in bulk.
Don't let that stop you from asking tho.
I don't expect anything to ever come from it, but I certainly don't have any complaints about the suggestion. -
To add to Zombie Man's info above, the Dark Matter aura is ridiculously pixelated when set to the eyes, compared to when it's applied to other body parts.
-
Correct, it was part of the Science Super Booster, and is now part of "BUNDLE: Superscience Costume Pieces" package. Or available on its own, of course, for 20 PP.

My guess is still late August/early September, but it is just a guess.
Don't forget, it's only been two weeks since Water Blast came out. -

Quote:Actually, what was basically asked for (and what we're getting) was things themed similarly to Mad Max.What we are being given is more "dumpster-diving serial-killer." And the pieces are far too specialized for me (like those boots, unusable with any other pants). So definitely a disappointment.
Quote:(like those boots, unusable with any other pants) -
Quote:Clean versions of what, pauldrons/gauntlets made from shredded old rubber tires? Perhaps the torn, patched pants?I've got to say, I'm rather disappointed in the decision to not give clean versions of these powers. It HIGHLY limits their versatility.
What, other than the hockey mask, do you want to see an optional clean texture for?
AGAIN, I THINK IT WOULD BE BETTER TO ASK FOR A SEPARATE SPORTS-THEMED PACK THAN TO INSIST THE POST-APOCALYPTIC PACK HAVE "CLEAN" OPTIONS. -
Quote:I just watched that movie a couple months ago. It was really, REALLY bad.If the Apocalypse happens in the 80s, then there is ALWAYS room for fashion!
