Nice raid tonight, y'all. However, Friar is right. The lag was atrocious. It took me a full three minutes just to bubble my team.
For next week's mothership raid, I'm going to have to mandate that everyone wear costumes sans capes, auras, and / or customized powers. We'll see if that helps any. Sorry.

Sitting in Atlas Park's Architect Entertainment building, laughing at all the AE babies trying to get on farms as it slowly dawns on them that they aren't needed to pad anymore.
I seriously expect the QQing over broadcast about the XP nerf in AE boss farms to be epic. -
SOE. You know, the same company that published Star Wars Galaxies, The Matrix Online, and Vanguard.
Oh, and DC Universe Online won't necessarily be free, but it will be subscription-less. I suspect it will follow the same model as Guild Wars. -

At a subscription rate of $15 per month, discounted down to $10 to account for the collection of the money up front, they are expecting the game to last only 20 months. I'm playing City of Heroes Thursday nights only for a while for my Rikti mothership raids. I've been having too much fun playing Champions Online, although I'm sure that will get old after a while.
There was a level 40 character spotted on Sunday night. I'm sure it was played by multiple people taking turns, and will be sold on eBay.
I haven't had any problems teaming since the open beta started. A large part of that is because most of my friends that have long since stopped playing City of Heroes are playing Champions Online now, but even then, I've teamed up several times with people I've never met before to do some missions.
I agree that the lack of an ability to see other team members' missions is a bit of a downside, but that really isn't a problem in the first two zones as everyone has the same missions, and after that, you can share most missions as long as everyone on your team is near you and they don't already have it or have already completed it. -

With the changes to AE (how you earn xp in it), and sidekicking/exemplaring changes coming with Issue 16, I would imagine that finding TF teams will be much easier, even for those who aren't in a chat channel built to help find them.

I want to make a Kin just to slot Speed Boost with three run speed IO enhancements, sit in the Atlas Park AE building, and keep speed boosting everyone there.

George Michael is one of my absolute favorite music artists. Say what you want about the man, but he's a very talented singer and music writer, and puts on entertainly good shows imo.
