  1. On the badge tab - go the 'veteran' section, then scroll down.

There will be buttons to click to redeem free costume tokens, the respec (dont until you need it), the attack and the sprints, as well as various base items.
  2. That was my thought, but I probably would have phrased it slightly differently.

    Super respec

(Nearly) Every MMO that has some form of items and economy has to have a way of removing items from free/easy circulation.
Unlimited items are created, to avoid mudflation, some simply have to be removed.

One approach is bind on use (or the worse bind on pickup). The 10 item per respec is certainly much less of a restriction than having every IO bound to the character permanently, but serves the job of restricting the reuse quite nicely.

There is no way in heck I'd accept a larger than 10 IO tray, as then some/all items would have to end up being bind on use.

  5. Filthy Rich = BUY IT NAO for a character decked entirely in Purples and/or PVP IOs

    without it really affecting you

    Maybe its Monica Cole ?
  7. *uses the Magic GG Summoning incantation*

So I played a Trial of CO, and I found that the game was OK, maybe even quite fun...
  8. 6 months would be acceptable to me.
  9. They fairly recently (Issue 14) added weighting to the Merit Random Rolls.

Makes that choice even better value.
  10. As an alternative to the market merits are valid.

Not for getting everything as you suggest (what about drops when earning that merit load you posted).

However, specifically for high inf items, you can relatively easily earn the merits to direct buy the recipe, that's the 'alternative to the market'.

In addition they provide scaled rewards reflecting the time and to some extend the difficulty of tasks. Much better than 1 recipe per TF no matter what.

So yes they are very much working as intended in most ways, though there are a few consequences which I think are unintended (the recipes drying up below level cap)
  11. Pure anecdote:

My Ar/dev was my first blaster at 50, mainly through teams and certainly is not overshadowed significantly by any other blasters he has teamed with, with one exception. That being a multi-billion inf purple and PVP-IO fire/NRG build.

Full auto up just about every group. Trip mines in place is the tank is pulling a group to a location.

He is my go-to blaster on teams.

    YMMV.
  12. You are a villain.

Why do the other devs hate you ?

Did you steal War Witch's cookies or something ?
  13. You can 'hold' 20 E-mails in your inbox, each with 1 billion inf or an item (Or is it and an item)

Once you claim stuffs, delete the E-mail and send more
  14. Still there, just random and uncommon to get.
  15. The data mined time isn't average (ie arithmetic mean) it is the median (ie 50th percentile)

    This is an important difference.

    http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Merit_Rewards
Gives all the math behind the rewards
  16. But you can make mules on 'unplayed servers' if you wish, to accept and hold inf and items

The storage with effort is going to be functionally unlimited, but I doubt few will go to the lengths to have it as such as a practicality.

At the very least 12 characters, each with 10 crafted IOs on a single unused server. Plus their recipe and salvage, plus their market slots

  18. Having interest earned on money 'in the bank', would most certainly add inf to the system.

    So I agree with firespray
  19. I have top agree with Myriad.

Dark and rad are both good.

AM nudges rad ahead. Though fluffy is a nice little bonus for Dark.

I would also point out that the first few replies are from one person.

  21. Assuming one of the mods still has that channel, yes.

I don't know if it would be worth the headache of migration again.
  22. If you make end management so trivial by gifting powerful recovery, why even have the end bar ?

One of the Devs (I forget whom but I think Posi) once said that it is more likely that endurance would be removed outright than stamina made inherent.
  23. Currently on test:

    Quote:
    New command: /chan_timeout <channel name> <duration>

    * This is a command to help Moderators manage channels. When the channel timeout is set, users that have not logged in within the duration specified will be removed from the channel.
    * The duration is in days
    * Setting duration to zero means there is no limit.
    * 7 is the minimum time allowed to be set.
    * Only channel moderators can use this command
    * Example: “/chan_timeout AwesomeChannel 30” will kick all members of AwesomeChannel who have been logged out more than 30 days.
I would think that 365 (so anyone who hasn't logged in for a year) would be a good setting.

    Discuss.

Lets face it, almost every archtype at some point or another takes the Fitness pool, or more specifically Stamina. Only VEATs have a version of Stamina as an inherent and they STILL need Stamina. A thought arose to change the pool into auto powers that unlock at certain levels, similar to Rest and Ninja Run (although not quite as soon). Similar to the Cape and Aura missions, although more of a solo-only trial or gauntlet that one must go through. It makes sense, after all when faced with overwealming odds, one steps back for additional training to make one's self tougher. Perhaps it could have a badge associated with it as well or something. Thoughts?
[Quick Recovery] would like to have a word with you and your only VEATs.

Physical perfection as well. In fact in each AT there are combination that provide significant end recovery and/or discounts without dipping into Stamina.
