This is amazing work altogether. Kudos!

    necro question

I know you seem to have resolved the issue but I'll shed some light on this anyway. The reason Knights get their Swords again with the Tier 32 is something to do with the fact that they undergo a complete model switch with every upgrade, unlike most pets, because their weapon changes.

It's actually an advantage, they still get the same number of new powers with the level 32 upgrade but in fact they can get away with JUST the level 32 one and skip the level 6 one and still have all of their powers (the Tier 6 ones plus the level 32 ones). This can be useful if you're doing a combat resummon and upgrade to a single knight.

That's a very good point actually, one I've never considered. If people had the ability to tone down their KB, those that don't for whatever reasons could become targets to the Build Police.

"nub, ur blasts arent slottd to stop KB"

But giving people the option to use slots to turn KB into KD seems like a good idea for some other powers.
Do you mean Tornado or Hurricane? There is already a knock-up version of Tornado available to Stalkers and Domis.

Actually I wonder if that would be the easier way to code this, rather than trying to reduce knockdown, which could be difficult for people to slot correctly, could you add an IO which changes the effect of knockback into knockup, then the mag wouldn't need to be changed.

Personally I disagree, mostly due to the timing with other events.

...The only issue is Psi damage, which is pretty common end-game....but that's what insps are for anyway.

    I have a 50 Spines/Fire Scrap, 50 Elec/Fire Scrap (Burn > Shield Charge), 36 Fire/EM Tank, 50 Fire/SS Tank and 27 Claws/Fire Scrap.

    I need to make a broot....suggestions anyone?
Stone/Fire. I tried it before the i18 changes and it was somewhat ropey but now it should be much better. Especially if you stayed as a Villain for Frenzy.

I'd wait until i19 for inherent Stamina though, that character (slotted with just Acc & End dos) was horrifically painful during the teens.

Didn't know that bit, I've never played an SR at all and have no idea about the powernames in it, that fits the "Spidie Sense" perfectly so.

Maxed out knockback is 1.874. Current knockback on torrent is 10.39 unenhanced. So unfortunatly, if it was changed to KD there would be no way to get it anywhere remotely close to where it was through enhancing.
Maybe if there was a way to switch between the two, but that's not a debate I want to get involved in, or bring here. And I can see why some would want to to be changed to KD, but like I said, I like the fact that it can knock things back into debuff patchs.
But you don't really need 10.39 do you? Anything over 1 (or is it 0.75?) will do knockback. It may be truncated a bit but it'll still work in the same way.

However, as to life drain, I do agree it could use more damage. As is, it seems like a weak attack with a weak heal and a large end cost, and wouldn't even consider picking it up unless the other powerset I was using had no self heal, and even then I'd don't think I'd fit it in till a post i19 build.
Torrent is slottable for knockback. So all you do if you do like the knockback aspect is throw a Knockback enhancement in there and it's back the way you like it.

Certainly over this side of the pond we treat the illegimate offspring of Halloween and Xmas with a bit of bemusement. What's it for which Halloween (harvest festival) or Xmas (winter festival hijacked by religion) doesn't do.

In practical terms I agree with KnG, it's too close to two other events to fit in really.

Incidently remaking him ingame will get you genericed fairly quickly as it's against the Terms of Service (as well as displaying a lack of imagination)

That'd probably be the closest ingame representation of his powers alright.

Between those 3 sets, you should be able to put in 3 IOs.
Why 12 points? I've found 4 is enough in the day to day running of missions. Is there something unpleasant waiting for me at the higher levels (other than the masses of Psi attacks which my BS/Fire scrapper is already dreading).
  15. Actually now that we have Going Rogue and Praetoria any particular reason we shouldn't have Empathic Corruptors (wouldn't port it to Masterminds due to the fact AB would be mostly useless on pets) and Pain Domination Defenders & Controllers now?

    Just wondering.
MA/SR scrapper with a special Spider Web APP which included a custom travel power and a "Spidie Sense" which worked a bit like Heightened Senses from WP I guess.

It's even worse than that, the Lich in the Necromancy set for Mastermind also has Torrent. But his was switched to do knockdown years ago (it was most annoying before that change).

And if it would let me past the starting village at all I'd get stopped a 1-10 gaming hours later by having *all* my save games corrupted. That's not to mention numerous random CTD's, lock ups, unresponsive NPCs, buggy quests and even a freaking blue screen.

One time I loaded my game and noticed that somehow my PCs familiar had actually merged with a party member (the gnomish bard fellow, cba to recall his name). When I say merged, I do mean just that. There was only 1 portrait in my interface (that of the familiar, a weasel I believe), but it had the name of the bard. It could still cast bard spells but had for the rest all the atributes of the familiar. I admit that was funny.

Obsidian is never seeing a penny from me again.
    LOL, that's a brilliant bug!

I agree with you in some respects, they are awful at handling bugs. But my experiences with NWN2 weren't that showstopping (the Witcher was initially much worse on my machine until they released that extended version).

It's WAGs because the term was applied to an entire teams worth of Significant Others. They are the Wives and Girlfriends of the players.

Then I come on here during the day, come across something like the "Evalutating PROCs" post in the inventions section and think "Hmmm, I'll just pop on for 2 minutes to get them for my Fort". I also love the forums and the community on it, and engaging in a debate over differences in opinions on various things here.
