I just started a Claws/WP myself last night.

The Claws animations are pretty nice now and seem much more fluid than before (I tried one before about 14 months ago and ended up deleting them again). Plus the choosable weapon models are pretty nice.

I just wish I could have made a Claw/WP Brute instead

And when the idea was circulated in a questionaire earlier in the year it also had a "Model of virtue" system (or something, can't remember what they called it) so anyone who didn't want to go rogue could be rewarded for sticking to their own side, which was an excellent idea IMO.

Well having revisited my Ice/Cold corrupter and doing a Strike Force with them over the weekend how about Cold/Ice (or Cold/*).

Nice combo of buffs, some debuffs and very quick attacks.

A Cold/Dark Defender might be interesting too, quite team orientated but your Dark attacks & Self Heal give you some survivability yourself (my Ice/Cold is quite prone to AOEing a bunch and attracting too much aggro to survive, Dark gives you some -ToHit debuffs and eventually a self-heal).

Personally i love the idea of power customisation its something that would more than likely keep me amused for several months far longer than any new mission ark (which i tend to do once with a suitable character then loose interest). But each to there own i suppose

I'm not against Power Customisation if it was as "easy" as Weapon Customisation, but all I've read about it says it'd be a boatload of work for the devs, the cost would be too high for the gain, in my opinion of course.

Plus I don't think I've got any toons where I thought "I'd really prefer this to be colour [rgb] instead". Except my Kin/Elec perhaps , but I never play them anyway.

I thought that too, but a 20% chance of stun in something that can go into lots of AOE sets would be overpowered.

Personally I think it WAS 20% and someone realised what it did for Electric blasters & Kins and they "quick-fixed" it by dividing the effect by 10 myself and walked away.

Of course what do I know? I'm not a teacher...

I concur. Debuffage from hell and no controllers stealing your thunder with their secondaries. Make everything miss you all entirely (or stand there quaking in fear) and then focus fire with a Scrapper or Blaster and watch bosses melt from your stacked -resist debuffs.

Just a shout out of appreciation for the Defiant Events channel. Two nights in a row now I've asked if anyone is doing anything and twice got a TF/SF space within minutes.

Had great fun doing the Bat'zul SF last night. Had never done it before and earned 3 levels in the process.

This is the issue, I have moved several of my toons to Union, but it's a bloody expensive business.

Sad thing is going on a number of NCSofts recent changes to things like Paid For respecs (rather than simply making the last TF repeatable) its most likely this is the offical line too (and why Sales are up this quarter when numbers are low).

As previously stated I'd like a system where there are Crossover zones, or some way of visiting a different shard for a play-session (so if there's no teams in Defiant Villains a Union villain team could spot and invite you instead and you could take a Portal to them, it even sorta fits with the whole Shard & Multiple Dimensions within CoH). You'd only need to rename the toon if the clashing toon on the hosting Shard was active and had logged in recently really, and you could rename them automatically in that case as it's not permanent.

Weird. When I open the General Discussion page I'm getting a load of old threads (including the What do you look like one) instead of the more recent ones.
