Well I'm about all week now, so i'll do Raoul tuesday night, then can bring Euch or Dena for some cash boosting runs - probably euch, as he has recall friend and heal aura/other/rez that tends to come in handy

And as to how long - there are 15 (count em) missions, but quite a few of them are delivery runs.

I'm up for some of this. The remade Raoul Bocanegra is currently sitting on 7, but should be able to get him up to 10 fairly quickly (certainly in time for tuesday night/wednesday morning). Would prefer the tuesday evening if possible.

Hmm, I think my comments on your PP story probably count for this one as well. A promising tale, with some quirks that can be ironed out. In this case the plot is very good, and 'feels' real, but the dialogue is not of the same standard. As an educated, even genius intellect, Marcus doesn't sound as intelligent as he should (IMHO). Pacing is better here, but there are some sentences where you try to say too much in one go. Try breaking them into smaller sentences, it will make them more interesting, easier to read, and improve the pacing of the piece.

Some definite potential here, I look forward to your next story/installment.

pretty good pious, there are some interesting plot ideas here that could easily be developed, with some nice turn of phrase. A couple of typos, but that's the pedant in me

One thing I would say that I think would improve your story, is pacing - reading it I found the pace quite breathless, as if they were rushing through their little diatribe. Consider breaking up the pace, slowing it down in places to create tension, then speeding up to add drama.

Eucharion is rocking the ill/emp to 29 so far, and I love him. Great damage through blind/spectral terror, deceive is a fantastic power, phantom army are amazing for taking aggro/chewing through mobs, spectral terror is a great fire and forget soft control tool. Then the emp powers are all so good! I agree with it being difficult to find the powers/slots - i've had to drop superior invisibility from my build, as i wanted recall friend/tp to complement Resurrect. But with leadership in the mix too...

Loads of fun, a great team build that can solo comfortably from 18 onwards.

Ah, the good old empathy knocking rears it's predictable head. It is the player that makes the powerset, not the set itself. I've played all the defender primaries, either as actual defenders, or as trollers/corruptors/mastermind secondaries, and they are all equal in the hands of a skilled player.

Kinetics is fun and increases damage, Empathy provides you with the tools to buff your teammates into arresting machines, rad and dark debuff enemies into submission, forcefield provides useful tools to protect the team and lock up the mobs, trick arrow has a multitude of "tricks", storm is ace.

None is better/worse with someone who understands the set. So practice!

As one of the new(ish) GG'ers, I've already noticed a similar tailoff in the presence of the 'older' crowd. But there are usually a few hanging about... For me, balancing the time I spend at GG with my desire to experience higher content is proving tricky.

However, when GG is packed, the chat in local is terrifyingly quick - making better use of the grassed areas would certainly help in that respect.

the fitness pool makes a massive difference, especially to fire/thermal. Hover is useful, as is the leadership pool, but go for assault/tactics - vengeance is hugely situational, and manuveurs isn't worth the slot.

Don't worry too much about defence - you have a reasonable heal that stamina and 3 recharge reductions should mean is nicely available, plus the health regen helps too. Concentrate on keeping your teammates alive, and frying the enemy to a crisp - they can't hurt you if they are facedown!

I've got a rad/dark, fire/rad, energy/therm, energy/cold and a dark/kin corruptor currently filling alt slots, and ice/rad should be a lot of fun.

The rad heal really isn't much kop, certainly compared to dark, but the debuffs are very, very good (as are dark).

Kin is excellent, if a little different in playstyle, but easy to get a team - brutes (esp /stone) love you!

Thermal and cold are a lot of fun - especially with the visual cues of the shields to let people know you are buffing them.

Quick target shifting should make ice/rad an excellent combo, as you can help herd the mobs together for the debuff.

Give it a go - corruptors are ace!

(hehe - whilst Raoul isn't losing his touch, I am.. just can't seem to write at the moment - I have a fairly long story type entry that brings him up to date that I just need to finish off. Raoul, he come to Paragon City for one reason; groupies. Bored of the "normal" chicas in the Rogue Isles, he how you say, lift up sticks and move a caravan on the shores of Platinum Lake. Paragon is muy confusing! After a busy day working on his tan, Raoul, he arrest a Hellion and find out where the heroes hang out.

So Raoul mosies across to the gigantico statue of that mamacita, Galaxy Girl. And si, Raoul he was right, these hero senoritas are so hot! Everywhere Raoul look was figure hugging spandex, revealing tops, skirts - Raoul likes!

Raoul announced himself to the local senoras, flexing his godlike physique, but unlike home, these chicas, they no buying what Raoul is trading, si? These supersenoritas, they not impressed by Raoul's machismo, his body, his swordplay Is Raoul not good enough for them?

Raoul met a senorita called Jo, and she tried to claim that she wasn't into Raoul, but that she preferred chicas too. Raoul was disappointed as she was at least octo (8/10). A younger mamacita, Bluestrike {9/10) played tricks on Raoul, but Raoul thought she might be into him.

Then some Canadian vato called spearmint showed up & kept coming onto Raoul, he even pinched Raoul's [censored]! That vato is loco! Raoul was freaked out, and left for the evening.

(right, that's his first night done, I'll post the rest of the week's events later - need to eat first! Also, please comment, on writing, errors, ideas - I want Raoul to be a character who evolves as he goes, and your feedback will really help!)
