Quote:As of Sept 1, 2012 I've realized that being able to play this game is far more important to me than any character, or any perks I've acquired.Quote:I wouldn't mind re-rolling everyone. Losing the vet rewards would be tough. But doable. Levels have never mattered much to me, so that's not an issue. I think I have maybe two characters that have even unlocked Incarnates. No slotting though, so that's not an issue either.

Add my name to the list of those who'd rather have an SOE-run COH than no COH at all. (I'd rather have it with Paragon Studios personnel on-board than without, too, but like Randy Bachman, I'll take what I can get.)

Quote:...let's just agree to disagree.biggest barrier of entry for this game has been neglected since launch, the GUI. It's terrible. I got some people to try the game and it's horrendous.
I'd have to dig through the forums to find the post, but the way I remember it, what BABs said wasn't so much "I don't know" as "I've never heard of anything like that" (not exact words, obvs, but my basic understanding), which sounds a little more emphatic to me. Add salt to taste, I guess. -
*applauds* Will that internets be carry-out or delivery?

Quote:+1 to that. The only question I have about a hypothetical Stalker:Ice Melee is whether Frost or Ice Patch should be the power dropped to make room for the AS.I'm also somewhat annoyed that stalkers don't get Ice Melee to go with that Ice Armor; Ice Armor seems kind of pointless without it.

Finally got through to it, via the expediency of unchecking the "on file" box where the store checkout required me to enter my card info. For those of you who are having problems and have recently switched cards, this may be useful advice. I will, however, maintain until they shovel the last lump of dirt onto my casket that it's a hosed-up way to run a railroad.

I just updated my relevant card at PayPal, in hopes that it would make the nut where direct use of the card failed. Still no dice. Apparently, I'm going to have to buy something I don't actually want from the in-game store just to get my (new) card recognized so I can buy from the out-of-game store. As the disbelieving friend said to the inventor of the manure-powered helicopter, "This poo poo will not fly."

I've tried twice and the store is, apparently, over capacity or something. Or maybe it's just not coping well with my new credit card. :\

I've never had it happen to me on a live server, probably because I haven't deleted an alt (no matter how little I was playing them) since before purchasable character slots became available, but I get it all the time (or, at least, too bloody much of the time) on the Training Room. I'd been dimly aware that the problem was more obvious when the online store was unavailable on TR, but hadn't made the connection. Thanks!

Rueful acknowledgment that everything I could say has already been said.

Given that civilians in mayhems don't have HP tracks, I find that hard to believe. Now, maybe Hapless Citizen hostages would be killable...

I may actually have been the first person to get both this code and #4, but I entered them at plain https://secure.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/serial.pl rather than at the upgrade page that specifies my account, so I had to go through login, and by the time I made my second try at entering the code, it was already too late. Don't let this happen to you, peeps.

Have they said what'll happen if you blab about meeting the requirements for one of the waves of beta invites and say you're looking forward to said invite? I ask only for information.

Personally, I'd be content with figures of the major NPCs.

Quote:QFT.Now I do not feel bad about not finding time to make one, these would have beat mine easy.

I Ouro'd it on test with my elec/elec brute ('Lectric Lady, copied from Protector) and got a necro/(not sure what) MM. Updates to follow as characters on live servers have the experience.

To my shame, it wasn't seeing you (or somebody, I wasn't logging the convo) ask Posi about Sorina last night in the D that got me to read TCoSR1. It was seeing it linked from your .sig in, I think, the sixth anniversary memories thread.
Wow. Just... wow. I am in awe. I read it in a number of small but no less swell foops, and I am through the wringer in a good way.
