jeeeez 30 freakin days?? screw that, not even gonna touch the day job thing.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Now now now now! I want everything NOW!

    Does that sound like you?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Not really. There are quite a few numbers between 30 and zero (even if you just stick to integers).

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, the comments that are basically saying, "If 30 days is too long for you then that must mean you want it instantly!" hold no water. Lowering the requirement to 15 days still gives the badges/accolades/powers a level of commitment and should placate those that somehow think wanting to get badges in a reasonable timeframe is greedy.

Nobody is asking for these things to be rewarded instantly. It's just that 30 days is simply too long. The devs need to be more reasonable on this one.

why does everyone (mostly) want to just blow thru content? It seems ost want everythign right now.. I think the system is great the way its explained... They only problem i see is for people ( the few ) that only play one toon. If i am hooked on playing a toon all my other toons will be earning rested XP, bonuses and other rewards. Its a great idea and system.

I like it, I hope it stays as is...

    [/ QUOTE ]

How is staying logged off a character "content"?

We are getting a mission architect, new stuff in Cimerora, and whatever else is thrown in. We are getting plenty of content. Don't punish badgers for wanting to complete their collections. 30 days is too long.
  3. Cool idea, and I am looking forward to working on these badges. However, I feel I have agree with the "30 days is too long" crowd. I don't understand why making it non-consecutive somehow makes it better. If you wanted to get all of these badges on one character in a year, you would only be able to play that character for 5 days during the year.

30 days is too long. I could see 15 as being a bit more reasonable.

What about people not in SGs? What about SGs that can't afford the mission computer (prestige, control, power, space)?

I expect the mission designer will be something separate altogether.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I started a VG 2 weeks ago and can already afford one playing roughly an hour a day so it's not hard to get one. As for people not in SGs well they shouldn't be so anti-social.

RWZ wasn't for everyone, just those 35+. Same with veteran rewards only being for those who have older accounts. Again, it's not for everyone.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Uhh... luckily your opinion is not shared by the devs.

  7. Modern Art Frames did not always appear blank. They've been all white since issue 7 or 8.
  8. Nice list, MadScientist. Good work.
  9. Well, that's some good news then, Ex. Good to think we have a reason to hope.

Here's one I don't recall seeing in any of the lists.

I would like to be able to put personal items back into storage while editing the base so that I can empty the extra rooms from my small hidden plot, then size back down to the tiny hidden plot to reclaim the prestige for the small hidden plot and use it combined with prestige I have now to buy the hidden plot, then just take the personal items back out of storage and remake the rooms they were in.

The way things work currently I have to throw out the personal items and remake them to be able to resize the base.

    [/ QUOTE ]

This was just a convoluted way of saying "I want to be able to put crafted and vet reward items back into my inventory". And yes, it has been suggested before.

I think he wants to be able to have the 2nd plot and then resize to the free plot at rent time to avoid paying the measly 20k prestige per 6 weeks. Twenty thousand prestige is a few hours of solo effort, so I don't see why anyone would want to go through this effort.
  11. Sweet! This should effectively end complaints about "end game content".
  12. [ QUOTE ]
how does rent work? after you upgrade your plot, is it based on what plot you have or how much stuff you have or a combo of both? and how much rent does each plot cost each month is there a set amount for each one?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    It's based on plot size.
  13. <QR>

Well done, Devs. This is a great way of doing this all around. Five new slots for my home server (incuding vet rewards) and the option to buy later. It's better than I had hoped for.

    Great job!
  14. Usually the item info will tell you (right-click the item) what it attaches to.
  15. Oh, man. Until I saw the "removing the sounds" bit I was excited. Maybe we can really get this someday (leaving the sounds in of course).

    Nice one, devs!
  16. A big thanks to Ex Libris for getting it re-stickied. I'd hate to see that nice thread purged after all those people did that work.
  17. What happened to the nice stickied list of guides and such on this forum? It's gone from what I can tell.

    To answer your question:

1.) You need 15 members in an SG to max out the "free" 300,000 prestige you get (20,000 per member for first 15).

2.) Once you start the SG, get all of those dummy alts into the SG and build your base.

3.) With 300k, you can easily have a base to store enhancements and whatnot. It is very feasible.
  18. My suggestion for FF would be do whatever is possible to make it something other than the most boring powerset in the game.

As suggested on page one, I would make the dispersion bubble the most powerful of the buffs. I think it sucks that the least protected of the team is the guy providing the protection. I don't consider PFF anything other than a "oh crap" or "traveling through higher level regions" power.

I'd like to see Repulsion bomb and Force bolt do more damage, but from a defenders standpoint it's not needed, since they have the blaster secondary.

All that is moot anyways since Pohsyb said that it is pure conversion and no tier climbing.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    yup.

the only remaining concern is the ability to play the market, like if tier 3 Breaks are worth 100k and tier 3 Damages go for only 10k. but that should even out by itself shortly enough. However, the buy-back prices on the auto-doc may have to be adjusted, Rezzes go for more than 3 times the other inspiration values.

anyone else annoyed at just how useless the Combat Logs is becoming?

    [/ QUOTE ]

The thing I find most insulting about the combat logs is that it charges 100 inf for a breakfree when vendors charge 50 inf. Loading into a base automatically nullifies whatever convenience you gain. I healed 100 million points of damage for this?
