  3. I want a third arm as a tail. Randomly it will wave, flex, or hold a picket sign. If I use the clap emote it will try, realize it has no second hand, and sulk. When I try the sit emote it will push me back standing. The same goes for when I get knocked back, it will catch me and throw me back at the enemy.

Best part, when two people with arm tails get near each other they will react, shaking hands, high fives, or thumb wrestling. Then they will get sad when we leave.

    Sounds easy enough...

  4. Yo, Desdemona. I'm really happy for you. I'm gonna let you finish, but Beyonce had the best butts of all times.

One of the best butts of all time!!!

Still, that is an impressive roster, methinks.
There was a time we could do Devouring Earth GM's. Had a mission way back with a map full of Recluse AV's and 5 ally Boulders you could rescue. How many Recluses does it take to kill a GM?? At least 10...

My machine, as dated as it is, can chew through games like Assassins Creed and BioShock with ease, yet land me in Creys Folly and I lag without looking at anything. Never mind the pain of Grandville or running a large taskforce.

That depends on who wrote that part of the story. Rularuu was not always mad. Only due to his imprisonment and subsequent rebellion by parts of himself has he gone insane.

It any case, this is part of the story I would love to find out I was wrong about...it has such potential should they ever expand on it.

  12. What happens to the MM pets when you jump on a geyser?

I am having all sorts of funny mental images of minions being thrown all over the shard...

    STF Bugged?

We ended up dropping the TF after spending way too much time trying to scratch GW. I blamed it on my bad luck with STF..

I am of the strong opinion that The Dream Doctor is an aspect of Rularuu, and that his home would have been the zone we use for Firebase Zulu.

But yes....moar Shadow Shard please. Include zones with less jumping and more underground open-world tunnels, or something like the sewer system that lets you go from area to area on foot (ie, expanded mole point system)

That is the worst part about RMTers. Despite all the negative impacts they bring to a game, the rules against this type of business, and the general public opinion of them RMT is the realization of that childhood dream that so many of us had.

    Get paid to play games.

Not supporting them...just agreeing with the irony of the situation
  16. There are way too many charactors with almost the same name in this game.

    Ms. Liberty
    Miss Liberty

    Hero 1
    Hero One

    Romulus
    Romulus

Marcus Cole......lets not touch this one....

Or make it a part of the sewers using the broken wall transitions we have now.

  18. I don't have my updated build handy but I will post it when I get home.

I find there are two schools of thought with Fire tanks.

The first is to max out your Recharge speed. For this you will be investing in Hasten as well as sets that net you a good recharge. I went this route and picked up several Purple sets over the years to augment Hasten.

The benefits of this is quicker recharge of Healing Flames and Consume as well as longer time with double stacked Rage. Double Stacked Rage+Fiery Embrace+any attack is a wonder to watch.

The second school is to invest heavily in +Def. I tried this a bit but never got a good build out of it, however several others here have and swear by it so I will leave that side of the coin open to them. If you can get a decent amount it is a good path to take.

Even without IO's fire can do well. For SO builds, and to a lesser extent IO builds, I would recommend both the Fighting and Leaping pools. Fighting will augment your resistances with Tough and if you choose to go the +def route Weave is essential.

Leaping will net you some more +def in Combat Jumping, Immob resist that is not tied to an attack, and Knockback protection in Acrobatics. You can get the KB resists without Acro by investing in IO's. Personally I have both a KB IO and Acro.

That's aprox. 20 seconds with full slotting for recharge (not including recharge bonuses). That means to get your 60% Toxic resist you'll have to sit around for a minute charging up. This also assumes that you are consistently hitting your heal. At least for me, I only hit Healing Flames if I need it. I think that makes it a hole. Or a vulnerability. Or whatever you want to call it.

That is like saying S/L damage is a hole you can fix....by using one of your powers to plug it. Fire is close to the top in Toxic resistance thanks to Healing Flames. 60% is very nice when running Vaz...much nicer than 20% offered by several other sets
  20. You lost me when you first said that Fire/ has a Toxic hole, then later quoted how you can get 60-80% resist to toxic from Healing Flames. While not ideal you can easily hit 60% Toxic resists when you need it....not quite a hole IMHO.

That too, but I was more speaking to their use of Fire and Cold damage. At those levels Temp Protection's resistances actually can help you tank better.
  23. Very nice.

I am glad you put the bit on positioning. This seems to be somewhat of a lost art on recent tanks, and even other team members. A few times I have had to tell squishes not to follow me and stay out of the AoE/Cone range. Worse is on a team with two tanks and the other guy turns the mobs back at the team after I get them positioned.

One note, Temp Protection, for all it's flaws and recent buffs, makes some of the lower levels a bit easier. If you plan on running the Hollows arcs, with all of the fun Outcasts, I recommend it early in a build.

I am going to try this now...and if it was just a joke I will hunt you down and.....and.......PETITION YOU!!!!

On a side note, there are destructible objects outside of Mayhem missions. In Kings row Skulls beat on cars that will eventually blow up. Usually the car is a higher level than the skulls so when it blows up the skulls die.
