So, part of yoru guide is to ignore ultimus??
Great guide PK. vBulletin can be a bit overwhelming if you never used it.
On the forum speed that is very much a server side issue. There are some compression and caching techniques they can try if it gets too bad. Honestly I have not seen much slowness yet on my end. -
63 as of 2 days ago. Been here since the last wave before CoH open Beta.
-
I cried myself to sleep every day at work. Then buried my sadness in a mountain of pie.
-
Good catch on both points. I am going to set myh link to take me to the english link by default...simple fix on my part.
-
I do not pretend to speak for the great and might Pie, instead I preach its good word to the land. Pie is good, Pie is yummy, Pie > Cake.
I like pie...and because of that I have taken this land to prove my like for the pie.
As keeper of the Pie-O-Matic 4000 this is my right. -
The FORUMHOME template needs work. It is way to awkward to use in it's current state.
Lack of animated avatars means I am going to have to find a new one
Not to thrilled with Red buttons on a blue based theme but it could work.
Minor issues. I am a big fan of vBulletin so most of them can be overlooked. Forum home needs to have sub forums displayed, possably with new threads showing at that level. There is a mod to do it but I do not know how well it scales up. -
NEVER!! Pie is a part of CoX. Just like AE and Hammi raids.
BTW the Forum home template is really awkward. I hope it is being updated soon. -
You know what stinks about the end of the forum world....the waiting.....
-
Ohhh....thats funny! You said you were leaving....and we all have to leave......thats funny......ooohhhhh
/em familyguyreference -
Let it be know throughout all the land, from PWNZ to Victory. As far as Forum Games and as near as the Market forum.
I, Calash, hereby place my flag upon the new forums. They shall be forever known as the forums of PIE.
PEOPLE!! YOU ARE FREEEEE!!!! -
I am curious as to why it is going to take so long. I have done migrations to vBulletin before. They don't take Days. 6-8 hours perhaps. The process is automated for the most part, and not one you want to leave idle while doing other work.
/em shrug. May also be a DNS change involved. Ether way I will see you all on the other side. -
Upon the final breath I shed a tear for thee. Old friend, we shall miss you.
Only until the new forum comes up -
Be strong Tanks. Remember to taunt the abyss as we pass to the new age of forum.
-
IMPEX can run a lot faster than that, even on a board of this size.
I am guessing it may be more of a Server and DNS change...or just playing it safe. -

Yeah....... -
Sorry, was meant as a quick reply. Sorry about that.
-
If I ask for a review I deserve what I get, and have gotten.
Basically don't ask if you don't want to know. If your creative vision is too tied into your emotions as to survive harsh feedback then you need to step back away from the review threads.
On a side note, I am both looking forward to and expecting a thrashing from Venture when he hits my arc. Such is the literary process. -

The OP hates MMs.
Because only MMs have knocback in CoV.
Oh, wait...
[/ QUOTE ]
Additionally, ALL MMs have knockback.
[/ QUOTE ]
Darn them crazy knock-backin' zombies. I think the Lich is the worst offender. Off with his head!
[/ QUOTE ]
I most sincerely doubt he'd notice. I mean, he's already dead. That'd just mildly inconvenience him, at best!
[/ QUOTE ]
Plus it can add to any Fear effects, kinda like an extra slot for the power
[/ QUOTE ]
It is hard to aim your fear attack when head os rolling on the ground.
This is why I play Bots...metal necks help to deter decapitation. Sure knockback can be a problem, but that is what Detonate is for. -
When I was your age we didn't have a keyboard. We had two wires and a ASCII chart carved into the dirt. We would tap the wires and spell out the BINARY.
We were blessed I tell ya... -
<---- Best Avatar EVER!
I made it too. Can you tell by the pixilation and slight skipping in the loop? -
Well if you would just follow your instructions like all the other minions everything would work. After all, your just another pawn in the masterminds group.
There are times that I really believe that CoV was designed to cause friction between some of the ATs to preserve the mindset that you are evil and only working with these others to further your own plans.
Or to put it another way, balance by conflict. -

i like it but temperture protection is totaly useless imo, but id just replace it with something else, i gotta have my health atleast 3 slotted, i cant stand having it one, stamina would get couple more for another EA set...thats all i be fixing with my playstyle, TYVM for ur help bud,u gave me several ideas aswell...ty.ty
[/ QUOTE ]
Temp protection has been buffed a bit. The +20% slow protection is very nice when dealing with slowing mobs. It stacks well with the Winters Gift IO and, if you are inclined, there is a day job that offers another 20% slow resist. I forget wich one, but that is a theoretical 60% slow resist for 2 hours, 40% all the time. It can also help at the lower levels with Frostfire.
For Stamina, I prefer Performance Shifters. The Proc IO is very nice to have, and if you are 4 slotting you get an additional +Recovery bonus on top of everything else it provides.
I like Melt Armor from the Pyre set myself. It is a good place to slot some fairly cheap IO sets, and it can help both you and your team over the long battles. YMMV however, so test it before committing. One nice thing is that the power selection cost is not that high to get it. -

Yeah we all have worked with Devs , we all have developed games, and we all don't have a lick a proof...

If you look on the inside of the cover of your original copy of Dark Age of Camelot, you will see my name in the credits:
Alex "Kruunch" Lippe
Also, most of the old timers on these boards know of my involvement with Geko (along with the other old time Tankers) in getting the original SS changes implemented.
As for WoW and EQ, you'll have to take my word for it.
[/ QUOTE ]
Its true. Kruunch is the patron saint of SS tankers. I have a velvet painting of him in my bedroom.
What....too much information??
Kidding aside, the current state of KO blow is due to the tireless efforts of several old timers including Krrunch -

Seriously, did you just seriously used the word anathema?. Honestly Sorciere who are you trying to impress with a word commonly used in the 1500's. Was loathe not enough? or was "hate" too simple?
[/ QUOTE ]
Methinks thou art a caitiff knave; aroint thee.
Man, it's been too long since I've been properly arointed.
[/ QUOTE ]
If I have to start regularly Googling words from your posts to understand them I may have to put you on ignore.

No, but when we know that you're never going to offer any in return...

OH SNAP!!
Oh no you didn't!!!!
