  1. Arc Name: Unclothed Clockwork
    Author: @Bunsen1
    Publish Number: 265517
Description: Clothing-less Clockwork have taken over Guardian channel. (not exact quote, but can't recall off top of my head)
Length: Very short, 1 mission defeat all

Based off of the Getting VD and Stripping Clockwork discussion/thread that originally took place in Guardian channel Febuary 14, 2009.
  2. The Naked Clockwork inspired AE arc, Unclothed Clockworks (AE doesn't like the work naked) is now published. Arc ID 265517.

Oh, and the SavPepsi discussion took place May 1st, 2009.

Think Pepsi was on earlier but had already called it a night. Do have a log of Savannah doing a good Pepsi impersonation...and then Pepsi logged on.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    That Savannah has issues... >.>

    [/ QUOTE ]

If you'd like I could post that log as well....
  4. Yep, that's the one, Fal. Now I just need to recreate it .

    @Jack_Power
I did. My original forum handle was TayJK, the SN I've used since about '94. About six months ago I changed it to Bunsen. I had a reason, but I forget what that was.

    @Mr_Ultimate
When the opportunity shows itself, I do try to steer conversations into the right direction. That said, the primary parties of the Naked Clockwork Scandel (namely me, Moiread, and the Queen of Naked Clockwork, faldette) are still around, although I'm not here very often anymore. Trying to fix that though.

    28 Days Later?

As I said in Guardian, I really hope there's a boss in there named Stripped Gears or Gear Stripper or the like...

    [/ QUOTE ]

I heard the 28 Days Later line so many times the other night...

Also, I'm really putting that in.

On a side note, Faldette, can I get a pic of Fake Faldette? I want to put her in.
  6. With my return from my 28 day long CoX drought, I'm finally getting around to putting the finishing touches on my AE arc, Unclothed Clockwork. But then I discovered that the original thread has gone bye bye. So here it is, it all it's Moi-embaressing, attempted-head-exploding glory.

To put this into context, this conversations took place on the Guardian global channel Febuary 14, 2009 aka Valentine's Day. It has been slightly better editted, including a brief related Tell exhange I had with Wall of Knight.

[Guardian]Bruiser Babe: [Meowser, 22] Now for some VD badges
    [Guardian]MrsAlphaOne: you got VD?
    [Guardian]MrsAlphaOne: *avoids BB*
[Guardian]Bruiser Babe: [Meowser, 22] Not yet, hehe
    [Guardian]MrsAlphaOne: eww
    [Guardian]MrsAlphaOne: Don't want VD
[Guardian]MrsAlphaOne: Makes the Pee burn and the crotch stink
[Guardian]MrsAlphaOne: Wrap it before ya play with it
[Guardian]Bruiser Babe: [Meowser, 22] I gotta get 'em from those guys in the club first
[Guardian]Winds of Fate: Ah that was so fun
[Guardian]MrsAlphaOne: Yup that's the perfect place to pick up VD
[Guardian]MrsAlphaOne: Some random guy at the club
[Guardian]Bruiser Babe: [Meowser, 22] There, I'm on my way
[Guardian]Ariel': *rides a butterfly through the channel*
[Guardian]MrsAlphaOne: BB said she wanted VD badges
[Guardian]MrsAlphaOne: VD also stands for venerial disease
[Guardian]Bruiser Babe: [Meowser, 22] There, I'm on my way
    [Guardian]Bruiser Babe: [Meowser, 22] Whoops
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) Oh, I know. Actually, in retrospect, I am not suprised, either by the conversation, or the one-sided speaker.
[Guardian]MrsAlphaOne: I've been drinking give me a break
[Guardian]Alpha-One: you know how to avoid VD?  go for the young ones
[Guardian]Alpha-One: it's true, the Mrs got me in grade 4
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) The ones who barely know what to do with it, you mean?
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Then you get to pleasure of teaching em
[Guardian]Alpha-One: clay to be molded, that's what I say
[Guardian]Muad Dib: (Comrade Vladimir) Wow, I picked quite the time to look up into the Guardian channel
[Guardian]Bunsen1: You mean just like every other time in Guardian channel?
[Guardian]Muad Dib: (Comrade Vladimir) No, it's been kind of tame recently, well tame by Guardian standards
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) I'm sorry, did you want me to go out and find you some naked gyrating native dancing girls?
[Guardian]Bunsen1: I'm certain a witty retort exists to that, but I can't think of it
[Guardian]Muad Dib: (Comrade Vladimir) They dont have to be native Moi
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) Well, you will be stranded on their island at the time.
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 30 Arachnos Widow]: do they have to gyrate? could they oscillate instead?
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) Like clockwork you mean?
    [Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 30 Arachnos Widow]: ... maybe... >.>
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 30 Arachnos Widow]: *sends naked clockwork to dance in channel*
[Guardian]Muad Dib: (Comrade Vladimir) I sorry Moi! Dont leave me on a deserted island
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) How exactly do you make one of those things 'naked', Fal?
[Guardian]Bunsen1: *waves 1 dollar paperclips at the clockwork
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 30 Arachnos Widow]: magic.
[Guardian]Mistress Noire2: *White Feather* *pokey channel*
    [Guardian]Bunsen1: Booze helps too
[Guardian]Bunsen1: you slip it in their lubricant
    [Guardian]Mistress Noire2: *White Feather* o.O
[Guardian]Bruiser Babe: [Meowser, 22] And then?
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Then you get them naked....duh
    [Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) But they don't have...cloves...
[Guardian]Heroic Greg: Wow, it's "Guardian after Dark!"
[Guardian]Mistress Noire2: *White Feather* welcome to guardian greg lol
[Guardian]Mistress Noire2: *White Feather* this is us all the time
[Guardian]Bunsen1: of course not, that's what the booze did
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 30 Arachnos Widow]: well then, its easy moi. just let them be themselves
[Guardian]Muad Dib: (Comrade Vladimir) there is not After Dark in Guardian
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) I dunno about that...What if they think I have scrap metal...?
[Guardian]Bunsen1: That's why they're oscilating, for the scrap metal
    [Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) Well, okay...
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Well what else you going to use to tip them?
[Guardian]Muad Dib: (Comrade Vladimir) and the more scrap metal the more stimpacks I can get from the ghoul in Underworld!
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) I wasn't intending to go watch them dance, so I hadn't really thought of tips...
[Guardian]Bunsen1: dollar bills?  What do they need money for, their Clockwork
[Guardian]Bunsen1: So you intend to spike their oil with booze, and what, just leave them naked on the street?
    [Guardian]Alpha-One: I'd give 1000 caps for a non-buggy PC version of Fallout 3
[Guardian]MrsAlphaOne: The Clockwork King needs it to take Penny out on dates
[Guardian]SinnerSaint: [Brother Blues, lvl 39, Blaster]gi say just keep tossing magnets at em....gotta be good for a laugh
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) Well, yes, if you must know...
[Guardian]Bunsen1: You monster!! Your just asking for those poor innocent Clockwork to be taken adantage of by some robot hoodlums!
    [Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) Yes, I suppose I am.
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Well if you want the image of Kronos violating Babbage in your mind, that's on your consious
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) Machines can turn on other machines without being blasphemous...
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 30 Arachnos Widow]: kronos launching missles at babbage? :P
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Just, but the clockwork are already drunk cause of the booze you spiked their lubricant with
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) That was YOUR plan!
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Yes, and it was YOUR plan to abandon them on the street afterwords!
    [Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) To frame YOU!
[Guardian]Bunsen1: And look how well that's working out!  Youre the one getting all the blam....attention
    [Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) Oh pish.
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Now if we had just gone to the club with the Clockwork, we could have been the one voluntarily violating them instead of Kronos and his kronies
[Guardian]Bunsen1: So Maud, this up to typical Guardian standards yet?
    [Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) I don't violate toasters!!!
[Guardian]Bunsen1: We weren't going to violate toaters, we were going to violate Clockwork!!  One can osiclate AND toast, the other just toasts!
[Guardian]Bunsen1: They can OSCILATE, Moi, OSCILATE!  How can you not want to violate them after that?

At this point Karnifix had a question about binds that took a bit, derailing the proper discussion.

[Guardian]Bunsen1: Now, back to the topic at hand:  Violating Clockwork
[Guardian]Bunsen1: They can OSCILATE, Moi, OSCILATE! How can you not want to violate them after that?
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) Just don't appeal to me. Sorry Bunsen. You can go to the clockstrip club yourself.
[Guardian]Wall of Knight: (Thomas Savage, 37 Peacebringer) Greetings, Guardian.
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Bah, I thought it was going to be a Guardian channel trip (meaning someone else will pay the cover)
    [Guardian]GolDragon: {Titan-Juicer, 28, Brute} Hail Wall
[Guardian]Wall of Knight: (Thomas Savage, 37 Peacebringer) Hey Gol.
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 31 Arachnos Widow]: wall!
[Guardian]Wall of Knight: (Thomas Savage, 37 Peacebringer) Hey Fal
[Guardian]Wall of Knight: (Thomas Savage, 37 Peacebringer) So what's doing tonight?
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Discussing Moi allowing Kronos to violate a drunken Babbage, among other things
[Guardian]Wall of Knight: (Thomas Savage, 37 Peacebringer) O.o
[Guardian]Bunsen1: So Moi, when that horrible image is scarred into your mind and violently repressed, when it comes back up while your in the funny farm, remember who allowed it to happen
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) They don't even have appendages!
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Wait, don't remember, you might blame me, escape form the insane asylum and come after me
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 31 Arachnos Widow]: they have plenty.... they're just... retractable?...
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Sure they do.  What do you call their arms, legs, propellers.  Besides, they just need to find metal versions of them lying around....
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) You are sick. Sick sick sick!
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Hey, you're the one that allowed it to happen
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) You put the drugs in their oil!
[Guardian]Bunsen1: and who's idea was that?
[Guardian]Wall of Knight: (Thomas Savage, 37 Peacebringer) I have to admit, there's a certain amount of amusement to be had in watching Bunsen try to get Moi's head to explode...
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) My head will neveh explode.
[Guardian]Bunsen1: You were the one to bring up the idea of gyrating naked girls, and then from oscilatting to Clockwork!
[Guardian]Bunsen1: So this is all your fault
[Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) Actually, if you're looking for a place to lay the blame... :: point at Fal! ::
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 31 Arachnos Widow]: *hide*
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 31 Arachnos Widow]: i'm not faldette... >.>
    [Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 31 Arachnos Widow]: what's a fal? <.<
[Guardian]Bunsen1:  Yeah, Fald is the one that released the oscilating stipping clockwork!!  *goes looking for pitchfork and torch
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Release the DOG OF GUARDIAN!!
[Guardian]Wall of Knight: (Thomas Savage, 37 Peacebringer) *pushes Pepsi into channel*
[Tell] -->@Wall of Knight: thank you for picking up my prompt
[Tell] @Wall of Knight: No worries :P
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 31 Arachnos Widow]: >.> jane made me do it! D:
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 31 Arachnos Widow]: .... For Lord Nemesis!
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 31 Arachnos Widow]: *flee*
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Now where is that tracking Pepsi *searchs
    [Guardian]Bunsen1: *Puts up a poster
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 31 Arachnos Widow]: *puts up posters over poster* >.>
[Guardian]Bunsen1: *reads:  WANTED:  Faldette  For prompting lewd clock acts, and attempted Moi head exploding
[Guardian]Bunsen1: *catchs Fald while putting up second poster
[Guardian]Bunsen1: The old lure them out with a poster trick....
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Moi, what should we do with the prisoner?
[Guardian]Wall of Knight: (Thomas Savage, 37 Peacebringer) *drops piano on both Fal and Bunsen*
    [Guardian]Moiread: (Pixietricks) Repo the organs.
[Guardian]Bunsen1: *with last strength...slips a organ donner card in Fald's pocket
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 31 Arachnos Widow]: *laughs at bunsen and decoy from a safe distance*
[Guardian]Bunsen1: *watchs Clockwork Bunsen gets killed.  Better him then me
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 31 Arachnos Widow]: remember, if that hero is suddenly made of brass and have "fake" in their name, they may not be the real hero *nod*
[Guardian]Bunsen1: or could being wearing brass in an attempt to appear fake to hide out in plain sight
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 31 Arachnos Widow]: hence the "may not" bunsen... >.>
[Guardian]Bunsen1: I so need to post these series of discussions on the board....
[Guardian]Faldette: [Fake Faldette, 31 Arachnos Widow]: goodnight guardian
    [Guardian]GolDragon: <Knight Shock ,50 ,Elec/elec Blaster> night fal
    [Guardian]Palette: Goodnight Fald!
[Guardian]Wall of Knight: (Thomas Savage, 37 Peacebringer) Night Fal.
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Night Fald.  We'll waive the clockwork lewd offence...for now
[Guardian]Bunsen1: Well, I'm going to call it a night.  I'll attempt to make a head explode (not necessarily Moi's) another night
[Guardian]Wall of Knight: (Thomas Savage, 37 Peacebringer) Night Bunsen.

Was Captain Dynamic Ed Robertson from Barenaked Ladies?

    [/ QUOTE ]
That was crazy. When he first came out I thought, "Is that Ed Robertson??" then he took off the glasses and I saw it was!

    [/ QUOTE ]
Had to dig around a bit to get any sort of cast list for the video. Found this quote on Rooster Teeth's web site (emphasis added, quote's below the video):

    [ QUOTE ]
    Captain Dynamic: Episode 1
A team of writers is hired to use the new content creation tools in the game City of Heroes to promote the worst superhero in the world, Captain Dynamic. Starring Ed Roberston of Barenaked Ladies. Based on the game City of Heroes from NCSoft.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    [/ QUOTE ]

As a long time Rooster Teeth fan, I can identify just about everybody in that video:

The guy with the Sourthern accent in front - John Reed, aka The Director from Red vs Blue: Reconstruction.
Captain Dynamic - Ed Roberston better known as one of the members of Bare Naked Ladies. Or as he said in a commentary once, 'even better known as Captain Butch Flowers.'

Going around the table clockwise for the writers:

The tattoed guy who goes 'not even sure that's allowed.' - Geoff Fink - Minor Junior Private Dexter Grif, Negative First Class of Red vs Blue.
Balding writer who doesn't say much - Nathan Zellner, aka Andy the Bomb from season 3-5 of Red vs Blue: The Blood Gulch Chronicles
Guy in the back (not sure on this one) - Gavin Free aka Private Jo-anes of Chapter 3 of Red vs Blue: Reconstruction.
Guy who wants exposure to getting paid - Jason Saldana aka Private Lavernius Tucker from Red vs Blue.
The guy who Captain Dynamic wants to touch his awesome button - Joel Heyman, aka Private Micheal J. Caboose.

Also, to quote someone's sig/TV Tropes: "As a rule, whenever there is a major announcement, there will be rioting. "

Also, something I've been saying since this was first announced: a mish where a bunch of NPC heroes are beating up Positron for having to run his TF. Still don't know if I want the PCs to join in beating Posi or saving him.
  8. Very nice. Working on a fanfic for my PB, and this helps. I have questions to which answers may not yet exist, but am too tired to remember them. Do have the question of whether an I11-related update is in the works. After all, Kheldian related beings do play a signifigant part in some of the new content.

Up, Up and Decay - The Secret History of Superadine. As shown in PagaonWiki, there are a lot of secrets about dyne that aren't in the lore. Apparently whatever was discovered in the original dyne lab in Boomtown was so explosive Statesman and BABs swore it to secrecy. The cat could come out of the bag and fill in a lot of info about who really created superadine and for what purpose.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    SPOILER

Can't recall where I got this from, but a) they were using the brains of the Dyne addicts to explore other dimentions. The guy who founded Portal Corp was one of the clean-up crew that was sworn to secrecy, who use that info as the basis for Portal tech.

    b) The Family was also given Dyne supplies. Don't know if they were given it mysteriously or not. But they have a 'cleaner' variety then what your corner gang dealer is selling.

EDIT: Linkies: CoH: Other Worlds Discovered
    CoH: Family
  10. First off, a general sound of fustration, cause I was just writing up some unanswered questions in CoX storylines, but I can't find my CoX notebook. Guess I'll just have to put in what I do remember:

Possible exploration of the Rogue Arachnos/Malta connection.
The various hints about Weaver 1 in the 40-50 villian arcs brought to a head.
    Hess's connection to Arachnos.
Why, in Rikti War I, the Rikti avoided Talos Island, but during the I10-now Rikti attacks, go after it just like anyplace else.
What happened to Lord of Frosts, head of the Japanesse Imperial Wind superhuman group during WWII, after killing Captain Volcano near the end of the war.
More about the Rulaaruu, such as his imprisionment by the Midnight Squad in the 60s-70s.

I know there are more, but these are the ones I haven't seen in this thread yet (in what I've read, think I've only read up until page 9).
  11. I am SO creating a mission where a bunch of AI heroes are beating up Positron for having to run through his Task Force.
  12. I so want to see a demo video of the 'reception' set to Ballroom Blitz. Also want to see (haven't looked at comic yet) the Gag Gift Arrow from Psyche's Bachorlette party that I had to retrieve for them.
  13. Kins/temp powers are not required for Speed Demon. About 4 hours ago I got it with Super Jump (Slotted with the +Stealth set), Hurdle (3 slotted jump IOs) and Sprint (1 lv 50 run IO). Total time, 21.0 seconds. No idea how I did it, just know that it took a few runs to get use to the extra speed SJ gave me over CJ.
  14. I remember my first (only) earthquake. Living in Wisconsin we don't get many. I was playing video games when suddenly the house shaked, similiar to really bad winds (which is what I thought it was). Next day I heard about a minor Earthquake in Illinious (sp).

    Was anything damaged?
  15. I have a question. I based one of my main heroes, Safety Dude, on my dad, head of safety at a printing plant. He doesn't play. Could I take a picture of him as my submission.
  16. Woot, that's my birthday! I know how I'm celebrating!
  17. Doh, forgot to submit my screenshot in time to have it in the City Scoop. Will have to get that done tonight. For next week's issue!!
  18. Always great to hear from War Witch (wish she wast...I mean spent more time posting. Ah well, she's keeping busy (I hope)). Surprised she didn't mention the Cryptic Lounge in Faultline.

Question I would have asked: What zones would you re-do/revamp if you had a chance/time?

I don't think the first Paragon Times Article and this one inhabit the same timeline. Wasn't Recluse still in charge of the Rogue Isles in the first one? I think we're dealing with two seperate (maybe two of many?) time lines here.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Looking at it, I believe you are right, cause of this quote from the Breakout article [ QUOTE ]
Responsibility for the break out attempt has been laid at the feet of Lord Recluse and Arachnos soldiers from the Rogue Isles.

[/ QUOTE ] Unless the Arachnos soldiers are from the Rogue Isles, but Recluse is not. Doubtful, but still possible.
  21. <QR>
In the Organ Grinder's arc, it's mentioned that SERAPH and the Vice President gives you Omega Level Clearance, but that's about all, besides the occassional corrupt and/or kidnapped Senator.
  22. Well here's more info, courtesy of the CoV Website's Rogue Isles: 20th Century and Beyond Page [ QUOTE ]
When Statesman appeared in Paragon City, many of the villains there decided they needed a new home. The Rogue Isles was an obvious choice. Many already had connections there and the little nation’s “friendly” attitude made it a perfect choice. President Oakes was no fool. He knew that if he resisted these newcomers with their gangs and occasional superpowers things would not turn out well. But at the same time, he had bargaining chips – citizenship, diplomatic immunity, and other protections from American justice. And he had friends in the high places of America who were happy with the Rogue Isles just as they were. Deals were struck – in exchange for “playing nice” and taxes, the government turned a blind eye – and the Rogue Isles became a haven for the super-powered and evil.

During this time the first of many Arachnos cells arrived in the Rogue Isles. Representing itself as just another villain organization needing protection, the team quickly set up a base for its operations in the US. Avoiding spectacular raids and sabotage, it devoted most of its effort to intelligence gathering and influencing American policy. Lord Recluse did not overlook the Arachnos cell when he assumed control of the organization itself. Recognizing the value of a base so close to the US, he placed trusted agents (as much as Recluse trusted anyone) in charge and violently purged those he perceived to be troublesome. Once this was done, he ordered the station to go underground for the coming storm. This caution paid off when World War II broke out. President Marchand (Oakes’ “elected” predecessor) officially declared the Rogue Isles neutral, albeit with Allied leanings. When the 5 th Column menace alarmed the US, Marchand’s army waged a visible “war” on Column members on the islands, just to placate the Allies. It was Arachnos’ lower profile that allowed it to survive relatively unharmed.

And then Lord Recluse vanished – but even while the rest of Arachnos slid into turmoil, the hidden cell continued toward some unknown goal. Secret projects were started. Politicians were bought, rivals brought down. Men – and villains – were recruited. Someone was giving orders, but no one knew who.

It wasn’t until the mid-1950’s that it became publicly known that Lord Recluse was calling the shots. At that point he was ready to make his move. He performed a military coup, declared the Rogue Isles under the dominion of Arachnos and began to shape his empire.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Many of the facts are true in the article. Marchand went up against Oakes for Presidency. He was neutral, but visibily fought the 5th Column. This gives yet another date for Reculse's coup/attempted coup in the Rogue Isles, but otherwise it fits up until that point.

Anyone know who the current figurehead occupying the Presidency in the Rogue Isles?

One point I have yet to see mention is who the blonde undercover chick was that worked with Manticore. I'm thinking Swan, based off the blonde hair and her links with Manticore in our reality.

Another point, exact idenity of the 'rebels' Recluse and Manticore wiped out. 'Foreign terrorist driven out of the Los United States many years ago.' Got a couple theories:

5th Column (it's where everyone else is going)
Sky Raiders (I seem to recall an arc where some bigwig associated with Council or Sky Raiders trying to make a break for South America)
    Council (See above)
Malta Group (Doubtful, but they fit the description)
Arachnos (I seem to remember that Arachnos was spawned out of a central group from which the 5th Column also came. Perhaps he's leading the 5th Column now instead of Arachnos)
    SPIDER (See above)

Yet another point: In the article it said 'Simon Sinclair, the original Manticore, and his wife were killed by an assassin called Protean. In the savage attack, Back Alley Brawler, friend of the family, was put into a coma. Justin was the
    only witness.'

According to what's listed in his Paragonwiki profile, Back Alley Brawler killed Protean, earning Manticore's respect. So yet another differance between this reality and ours.
  23. Need to check my Aeon continuity, but I did notice this: According to the article, Recluse lead a unsuccessful coup against President Marchand in 1963. Here is one of the plaques from the Arashnos Rising History badge, located in Grandville:
    [ QUOTE ]
President Marchand, the former ruler of the Rogue Isles, was deposed here by Lord Recluse in 1964. Marchand and his minions attempted to hide in the tallest of the buildings here, but the shrewd Master of Spiders simply leveled the entire complex. The following year, Arachnos' new Watchtower was built upon its rubbled remains.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Similar timeframe, so another veering off from our reality.

Now for some Dr. Aeon info, he first 'appeared' in 1990 shortly after the former Governer Randall Kirchoff, was killed by a reckless scientific prodigy named Dr. Carl Egon, who was then 'executed.' So either Egon is pretty old, or another change from our dimention.

My thoughts on that are reflected in the quote in my sig: "Death is not a career ending injury around here." - Bob the Necromancer

Wonder if anyone can identify origin of that quote (with or without Google)?

I recall something like that being said in the Angel series... maybe by someone who worked for Wolfram & Hart?

My thoughts on that are reflected in the quote in my sig: "Death is not a career ending injury around here." - Bob the Necromancer

Wonder if anyone can identify origin of that quote (with or without Google)?
