Exploring the Architect #1: Whack-a-Mole. A bit more advertising on this one, but hasn't gotten a whole lot of reviews just yet, like 3-4.
[/ QUOTE ]
Mission 1: OK, pretty clever. I only got 4, but I wasn't playing one of my quicker killing machine toons. Oh, and I failed! How many do you have to kill to win?
Great idea, and very nice of you to use it as a training tool in the City Scoop.
5 stars for the community service and for the unique idea.

I've been so busy promoting my arcs (only midly successfully, generally positive, but only 8 and 17 ratings) that I'm losing track of things like this. I'm glad you liked Whack a Mole! It was fun to make and I spent more time on it than I expected to. There are 5 moles, it's supposed to count them down, but it's currently bugged. My next one is coming this fri, same ID #, check the Scoop.

3369: Matchstick Women - 3 missions, one AV/EB (standard diff w/no defense sets) Story is about a strange group of women arsonists and their leader. As told by a mysterious flame. A variety of mission objectives with hopefully nothing too annoying.

Mission 1: I haven't seen a story arc start quite like that before. Interesting. As for the mission, bizarre, yet pretty cool. First of all, I don't ever remember seeing that map before, it is very cool. It sets the atmosphere for the mission.
Mission 2: OK, You did one thing great and then another not so great. First, you did an EXCELLENT job of making the hostages easy to spot on the outdoor map. Everybody who creates missions should run this, just to see how it should be done. However, after rescuing the hostages, THEN you get another objective, to kill the boss. I found him right away but I could see issues where once you feel you finished the mission, then you have to go back to places you already were to find the boss. Not a huge issue, but I would rather see the hostages being held captive by 4 different recruiter bosses. That is just my opinion.
Mission 3: Wow. That was a great 'twist' to the story. This story was like no other I have tried in MA.
The arc started out a little bizarre, but it has a very cool custom vilaain group, a unique contact, and the story evolves nicely in the 3rd and final mission. Terrific job.
5+ stars!

Mission 1: just a matter of looking for maps "on fire", I'm pretty sure it's from a villainside arc, but I don't remember which one. And as for the first objective, I didn't realize it was going to look quite like that (you should see it on a big team), I can't take it out now, it's just too funny. (for those who haven't played it, first objective is a bomb "guarded" by council with the "Fire Marshal" animation, which I thought would have the extinguisher backpack. I didn't realize it also came with the large group of extinguisher backpacks next to him, and he's whistling loudly. On a large group, every mob has the large group of backpacks next to them)
Mission 2: I've had one other person mention the respawn on a large map, I think I will change that. Though I don't think you can add a boss to a rescue, can you? Just a group.
Glad you liked it, I hope my next serious arc turns out as well. Must decide if I want to try and do a fim noir style pulp crime story, or one of my character's origin story. -
Limits tend to increase creativity, not decrease it. You learn to work with what you're given to create great stories. I've seen plenty already. I agree with working on more tools, but what we're given is an excellent start and gives plenty of freedom.

20,000 searchable arcs?
that's a lot of content.
[/ QUOTE ]
75% of which are farms.
[/ QUOTE ]
I think you just need to learn to search better. I've seen hardly any farm missions in any of my searches (which aren't similar to my silly searches listed in the first post). -

List your own fun searches, remember the search function isn't the best, so it's sometimes hard to find a good search term to find only what you want. Like "Oz" comes up with lots of partial word matches. -
I typically only send a "thank you" reply if I happen to get one while I'm online so that way it's much more likely that the person will get it right away.

*has a feeling these type of posts will be pounced on as much as someone in the art forum announcing free art*
I'll toss out my arcs too if you're queue's not too long still.

How many "on fire" maps are there, I've found four so far. Arachnos base (on fire), Arachnos warehouse (on fire), Hellion, and Burning Forest. Are there any others I've missed?

Now I know I've seen a lot of really good animal character designs, and I'm not that imaginative with mine. I'd really like to impress with it. Right now I just have a red half helmet, goggles, the samurai mempo, plain brown tights, and a shovel. I can probably come up with a fair amount of inf, either Pinnacle blueside or Liberty redside. Thanks for the help!

I find it amusing that my intention would be to first work on a story arc involving one of my character's backstory. But instead most of my time has been fleshing out a fun little game of Whack-a-Mole! But I'm not that great at designing animal costumes, but I know there are many out here that do great jobs. So my contest here is to design your best Whack-a-Mole mole. There will be up to 5 winners, and their prize is to have their design be in my Whack-a-Mole arc, with credit in the boss description and possibly a shout out to their arc id# in the description.
If you want to check it out first, it's arc # 10227. -
I'm in the mood to get another Burnt Matchstick. You may take your pick. And thank you in advance.

My vote is for Xertul, really love the pose, would love to see it finished.
Close seconds are Tartyrsauce and Juggertha. -
Has sister flame gotten a hold of open beta's mission architect yet?

Well, that and a lack of cash. Best of luck to you, I really love your style. -
There's a mission I ran a while ago where you save "Dr. Scott" from the evil plan of "Dr. Frank N. Furter" and when you walk up to the Dr. Scott hostage, the enemies say "Dr. Scott!" "Dr. Scott" "<playername>!" "Dr. Scott!" and when you rescue him he says that they were trying to steal his time warp technology and it all started with "a jump to the left".

My first basic concept
This is just an example of what I've come up with already, and no, this is not a masked attempt to bump this thread and give it one more run to see if it garners any interest before letting it die... no really >.> -
Are there any? All I have available is Paint and I'd just like something for maybe a little beginner art stuff, and minor photo manipulation. I thought this would be the best place to ask around here, is there anything out there halfway decent that I can download for free? Preferably legally free, but I could also be willing to look the other way if you know of a something something
Thanks for your help! -
Ok, I made a slight alteration and I think it's looking pretty good, but I'd like some feedback on her:
