Quote:the only thing I could find was from Black Scorpion.I believe there was a quote from Second Measure about the incarnate system being open to all players and styles. I don't care to rummage for the link. Feel free to find it yourself.

Quote:Hey again, Black Scorpion here to expound a little bit more on the Strike Pack.
The Weekly Strike Target is the only means of obtaining rare and very rare Alpha Slot abilities before Issue 20. We understand that this means grouping. The addition of the WST will make finding a group for the focused content easier; we believe that people will run the WST multiple times, either to earn the badge or to earn the increased rewards on multiple characters, or even just because it will be easier to find a group for it. Also, to get yourself a single rare ability and earn the level shift will only require running the WST once, and to get a very rare ability it will only take two additional runs. If that’s not your cup of tea, the Incarnate Trials in Issue 20 are going to be an alternative means of obtaining the same abilities.
We are investigating a variety of strategies for the solo player to engage the system as well in the future. No one is more excited than I about the excitement concerning the Alpha Slot and the Incarnate system, and we want to offer more ways for people to participate and enjoy the content they love. On the other claw, sometimes in developing a massively multiplayer game we are going to have content which encourages and rewards multiplayer play.
Your bud in the Incarnate-powered armor,
Black Scorpion
I think the WST is the best thing to happen to this game in a long time. I solo a lot the only time I team is when I do TFs. Now with the WST it is a lot easier to start a TF up because a lot of people want to do them. -
Thanks All!
The Second account did nothing but die, it was killed by ambushes. It did no damage at all or took any damage away from my Scrapper, so yes it was solo. I bought it back on after losing the Master run because I wanted to get some rewards like shards. -
So last night I was on a Master of the LGTF. I like running Master runs because we make it a team effort, but last night was just sitting there watching the Stone tank do everything. So I was bored out of my mind, and kinda felt insulted too. It's like he was saying he was the only one who knew how to play the game. Now I don't think I'm a great player, I know some people might hate the way I play, but I know what I'm doing.
So after feeling useless I decided I need to do something to prove that I know what I'm doing. So I jump on my DM/SD Scrapper and soloed the ITF
I set it for a master run, but really didn't care if I failed. My first death was in the second mission, when a Cyst killed meI brought my second account back on after that. I died 6 more times, my other account died 4 to give me a total of 11 deaths.
I didn't use temp powers but I did use Insp, but most of the time it was just me being paranoidI have yet to get the Rare Alpha slot yet so I'm still only 50. I'm going to do this again when I get my Rare Alpha slotted.
-
It's not going to be too bad for me, I don't use comm officers. I used two groups of 52-53 and they normally stay alive the whole time. So I guess I now need to look for 53-54.
-
I really like how this turn out! I love the shield, I keep saying that but I do love it. She is just how I imagine her and it looks like she about to ruin someones day
Thanks again Alex. -
-
It doesn't to me, but I can see why. KM/SD was the Kinetic Melee Scrapper I made so it doesn't bother me. Most of the animations only use one arm so they kinda look wired at times.

Okay made the switch with PF and CJ. Move some slots around not much. You're still soft capped to melee and range. Your AoE is now at 43.3 which is good.

First thing real quick
Phalanx Fighting gives you about 3% defense when solo so it is a power you will want to take. -
Just looking around the forums I found some Fire/Regen builds. So I took one of them and put in fireball.(okay I took Santorican build and just put in fireball
) I don't know if you will like it because everyone builds differentially but at least it should give you a start.

Most of the time it is perception. With my Plant/Elec it seemed I was miss a lot too. So I open up Herostats played for some time and looked at the numbers. I was hitting around 93% but it still felt like I was missing a lot.

Quote:You're right it is none of my business and it has no business being posted here. I don't think you were getting what I was saying. I was saying she should of kept the whole conversion in Private Message(need to type this out now...) so it was only her business. No one would of known what she was doing but the people that were involved in the Private Message.I'm not really sure where you stopped reading but, a PM is what is what most people like to call a "Private Message", as in no one else should know whats in that message except for the two parties involved. It is not rude to ask because no one is being called out. As of why someone would want to know the globals it could be to ignore them or be watchful of their actions in game. But lets be honest, its none of your business which way or the other.
Anyways I'm done derailing(talking off topic) this thread.
Hope you all have fun on your next RtR
Later. -
Quote:Just by posting that question you are calling people out because a lot of people could know who it is, that is why it is rude. You should of just PM Stone Daemon, Hyper or DrakeCrator and ask them because they know who it is. And no one also would of known you asked. Therefore leaving your business out of this thread.Rude? Rude how?
I'm curious if these are the same people who have been causing trouble elsewhere. By asking for the names to be PM'd, no one needs to be called out.
But feel free to jump to whatever other conclusions you'd like, or make any other accusation.
It also make you come off as an elitist, because it looks like you are asking for names... -
Maybe a Fire/Shield Scrapper or a SS/Shield Brute.
it has Great Single Target damage
It has Great AoE damage
AAO draws arggo like it is cool
Shields has Grant Cover which gives +defense to your team
At the soft cap you feel very tough
Fire is not really a weapon
and I think it makes Sense as a Incarnate.
The next one I could think of would be a widow it also as better team buffs. -
I have it on three of my Scrappers, DB/Regen Kat/SR and DM/SD. I don't run it on my Kat/SR when solo because I really can't afford it but it is nice to know I have more damage if I need it.
-
I wasn't going to post in this thread because it is all irrelevant to me...
Really? I mean really? I don't know why you want these names...but don't go around and asking for them in public. If you were not there to ignore or one star them then you really shouldn't care and just asking like this, in a public forum, is just rude. -
-
Well six will do you no good because of The Law of Fives You can only have up to 5 set bonuses of the same name work.
Also The Alpha slot won't boost your global recharge but the recharge in your powers. -
-
Quote:Some people like it some people don't. It is really up to you if you like this power. If the ranged attack goes with how you play a scrapper then take it, if it doesn't then you can skip it.I have the first four powers of KM, and it looks like that gets me the most important basics; I don't plan on getting Torrent or Confront, although I will get Burst and Concentrated Strike. Focused Burst is a ranged attack, which makes me wonder how well it does in the overall game; is that a good choice?
Quote:For Shield Defense... I don't see a single power I don't want to take. Even the tier nine power, because it's the only source of physical resistance other than Deflection I see. It seems to be very toggle-heavy, though.
Quote:My three pools I'm looking at right now are Leadership, Jumping, and Medicine. In the case of Jumping, it's because I want to have some level of Hold protection running at all times, so I'm taking Acrobatics; for Leadership, I want Assault and Tactics for the accuracy and damage to squeeze out more damage will normally get me than six slots. (Not to mention I'm not a solo player.) Medicine for Stimulant and Aid Self, as I know Shield Defense lacks a built-in self-heal, and being able to rez my teammates is just great for teams. What should be my fourth pool, or should I leave it at three?
I like to take the fighting pool with all of my Shields Scrappers. Just make sure you have the slots for it. If you don't have many slots Hasten is always good to take to get your attacks up faster.
Quote:Assuming I get all the powers I mention above, that's 23 of my 24 powers. That doesn't leave much room for anything else. Are epic pools as important to high-end scrapper play as they are to high-end defender play?
Falling down will stop when you get Active Defense. Just make sure you slot of endurance in your attacks and toggles. Scrapper are not that good till you get to SO. So if you are still running out of endurance then slot some +recovery.
