When asked that question the proper reply should be "No one of consequence."

Quote:YOU!Ello.
After spending some time playing a game that may or may not rhyme with with "Hurled of Doordaft" I thought I'd buy a months play time and see what's changed in Paragon.
I was last here in Issue 12 - so I was hoping for some quick answers
1) What's the situation with Defiant vs Union? Is Union still the more popular, suggested choice for PuGs?
2) Is there any new story-content? All I can see is a Reichsman TF? The lack of new content was a big reason I left...Where's this Storm that was coming?
3) Is the AE just farming, or are there decent story missions in there (why do I get the feeling this is gonna cause fights?)
4) Day jobs - these only give temporary buffs right (max 2 hours)?
Cheers and Beers.
I remember you!
Now come on over here and give Unca Wabbit a hug!
1. Union apparently has more peeps, but I'm still only on Defiant so if you go there, your loss. (please note, the lack of computer at the moment prevents me from playing which is sad...)
2. There's 2 new Arcs in Cimerora (one for villains, one for heroes) and a few arcs for Midnighters.
3. I'd say the current ratio of farming to missions is 99% to 1% but I may be wrong... or deluded... or can't do math. However, I'm not drunk as I don't touch the stuff.
4. Indeedly they do! Thankfully, most changed to charges rather than time recently. I especially like the WW TPer.
PS - Are you still 22 and deathly afraid of facial hair? -
Quote:Indeed. I'd like to see this system implemented.I know this has been brought up before, but my DOG.
I am yet again to the point my characters career where I start spending money on the stuff I don't have... I have already spent her initial 150million... and now I have to *Log Off* Switch to someone else... *Log On* to the 3rd account... take whoever to the base from where ever they were conviently left... *Log On* with which ever character has money that I am switching it from...
Move them from their day job location >.> go someplace else... do this do that. TBH, I am not going to do this now. I am logging off. Right now, the game has chased me away. It is not convient. This is a drag. Why hasn't our mail system been adjusted to do this yet? -
Quote:Click on the name of the person you wish to ignore, select View Public Profile.I'd have asked this over in the player help area or some forum area but it seems very appropriate at this point in this thread so here it goes:
How do you ignore someone on these new forums?
Once that page loads, select the User Lists drop down menu and in there the Add to Ignore List option. -
Quick answer: yes, they will be able to.

Hmmm...
Althouh I find the concept worthy and I suppose it fills a need, I can't help but giggle at the following quote:

Yes, yes... give Villains access to the Shadow Shards but make the entry point be The Storm Palace instead of Firebase Zulu.... muah ahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!! *cough* *hack* *spit*
Sorry, hairball...
As has been said above, there are a lot of badges that need a good seeing too, especially, but not limited to, red side: Trolls, Skulls, Outcasts, Overseers, Paragon Protectors, Family (Marcone and otherwise) are some that come to mind. And then, for both sides, the Epic sets should be analysed: if most people are getting them via farming (as I think they are) well then, something is definitely wrong about them. -
Indeed. If you only have 11, you're missing 3 as the zone has 14 exploration badges.
Here, check against this map from Vidiotmaps. -
As I've stated in another thread I have no accent on account of not having English as my primary language. The Scottish and Irish accents, however, make me go weak in the knees.

Thanks for removing my underscore. ^_^

This... intrigues me. You have my attention.

Hey!
To anyone of the people I usually team with/talk to:
I'm currently without a computer and using a tin can with a piece of used string and some chewed chewing gum to post on the forums (well, it's a 6 year old laptop but for the effects of playing, the above description sorta fits).
So, I've not stopped playing or quit the game, it's just that I can't get in.
In other words: I ainted ded!
Merely dormant and might pounce on you and hug you when you least expect it...
PS - I miss you all! Except you. Yes, you. You know who you are. -
We do? Funny, I wasn't aware I did. Amazing the things one gets up to without one's knowing. Tell me, so I can update my records, when did I espouse that opinion?

Wow! Epic facepalm or synchronized facepalming?

You know what? I think this topic needs moar carrot...

Quote:Still working on the current live build. I don't think it's a bug: you're in a team, doing a mission, it's normal for the team to do it together and thus get access, even if they didn't do the arc themselves.Well unless they have changed it, only the mission holder needs to talk to the person and give the password. After they go in and get the Midnighter's Badge, everyone on the team gets it and can go in, no need to talk to the person to give the password.
Now, I haven't tried this in a long time and they could have changed it but before, once you have gotten the Midnighter's Badge you can get into the Midnighters Club.
Can someone tell me, has this been changed or was this a bug and they fixed it? -
Quote:I feel the same as Tyger and Dr_Mechano and add to that the fact that I16 has nothing in it, so far, to illicit more than a "meh" from me. It's just another piece of fluff that holds no interest to me. I want new content and preferably, not the one you can have by shelling out more money. There's a different to being jaded and cynical than hating the game.
If Tyger hated the game, he would have quit long ago BUT he still loves the game, it's just that the last few issues have been a bit of a let down for him with their lack of decent story content so now he, like me and many others, is wondering when the endless parade of "NEW SHINEY!" is going to stop and when we're going to get some story content we can really sink our teeth into.
We still love the game, heck I'm really happy about power customisation but the big hog known as the AE is taking up a lot more Dev time than it probably should have...to the point where I don't think I'd have minded if the AE never happened and instead we got a whole raft of new story content with the devs using the new system to make a lot more awesome story arcs that much quicker.
