Just wanted to let you know that my old computer quite literally blew up two weeks ago, in case anyone was wondering why I didn't show up for any of the scheduled shenanigans.

Power supply, mainboard, graphics card and RAM ... all as dead a Dodo.

Tried to start up a spare computer I had, but to no avail as the mainboard on that one appeared to be deep fried too. Did manage to scrounge together enough working parts however to set up an ancient Pentium III PC, but that one wouldn't run anything newer than WinME, which in turn refused to acknowledge the existence my ADSL multimodem, so I've been completely without any internet access for the past two weeks.

Anyhow, got a brand new computer now, so should hopefully be back in-game as soon as everything's properly installed.

Today I was reading through my daily webcomics and I came across the latest edition of Penny Arcade. Nothing too amazing, but I did notice for the first time the large and clean word balloons and the generic and non-topical graphic presentation. So I decided to wipe the word bubbles clean and try my hand at making my OWN version of Penny Arcade regarding CoH. I self-filtered to remove profanity etc. from my own ideas, and here is the result:


What do you all think? If anyone likes it, I'll probably do some more. I figure it's fair use since I'm not getting paid for it, right?

Anyway, it's pretty clear they're getting closer and closer to unifying everything, so I say to them, just get the sodding server merge over and done with, will you? Getting fed up with things now. Everything is done to convenience the US players these days, and EU gets disregarded as usual because we don't have enough numbers to count anymore.

I can see letting people have that setting for solo runs (it'd be fun and challenging for some), but common, for a master run I'd have to think you set a minimum (even con)!
