AV specific music

Short simple request to add a bit of urgency to some missions. When you face off against a final AV/enter the final room of the mission then a change of pace [the music] happens to give the feeling that this is indeed the big battle.

Just a small QOL change i feel would add a LOT to the overall feel to the game. Obviously though you would have to keep it to a minimum of missions to keep the feeling "epic".

Thoughts?

Along similar lines, I'd like to be able to select music to play in MA missions.

Easy-peasy, if your computer's powerful enough to run WinAmp or iTunes or whatever in the background.

I have to agree with the idea of this game needing more "mood" music. During a RMZ raid, with the order we usually do the pillars, the Crash Site music stats up right as everyone piles onto the ship, making for one helluva epic moment that really get's you pumped for action. Whether or not that was intended to go that way, the point still stands that it sets the stage and adds to the rush.

Now, if such a thing were to occur for every major battle in the game, it would be epic. While the BGMs in CoX are awesome, they're never there when the big climactic battle ensues.

The off-beat space pirate...Capt. Stormrider (50+3 Elec/Storm Science Corruptor)
The mysterious Djinn...Emerald Dervish (50+1 DB/DA Magic Stalker)
The psychotic inventor...Dollmaster (50 Bot/FF Tech Mastermind)

I usually have Itunes playing in the background (well ATT TBH) but i would like to see Epic AV specific music, i would turn my music off for that =D

though i can guess that quite a few people do this so tho changing the music wouldn't be too hard it would probally still be a use of time that could be better used elsewhere sadly.

That was exactly my point being and what got me thinking about it too. You couldnt overdo it but against fights like romulus/nemesis/rularuu/tyrant etc then it'ld make the whole experience a lot more epic and truely set the stage for the whole team to get pumped up for action.

One of the reasons i like to play the final part of arcs solo is so i can set the mood and try and create a cinematic feeling to the whole experience.

When you enter the final mission of the Lady Grey Task Force, your fight is the aftermath of a confrontation between Vanguard, Longbow and Rikti. The entire first floor is littered with bodies.

That's already an eerie sight, but the main-seller is the fact that the bleak background music from the Ritki crash site carries over into the first rooms of the mission. The bleak music just underlines the desperate scenes and does a perfect job of setting the mood.

With that anecdote out of the way, I do agree that more music would be very nice. Most video games use music to complement the setting to great effect, so I don't see why CoX shouldn't.
