Sorry, not much of a tech speak person so after reading up (guides and wiki) and trying to figure out how to bind emotes, Ive got a headache. What Im trying to do is to bind a different costume change emote to each costume. So, Im trying to tie
emote "cce 1 CCRapidBoil" to the Q key and my 1st costume slot
emote "cce 2 CCDimensionShift" to W key and my 2nd costume slot
emote "cce 3 CCPodPerson" to E key and my 3rd costume slot
etc etc
Can someone advise what the correct bind would be to get this to work? Ive tried a few combinations, but I guess Im missing something somewhere so its not functioning like I want.
(and yes, I do have the booster pack for these costume change emotes before anyone asks)
Any help would be much appreciated. -

I dont think Warburg or RV is ever populated
If you want a busier server, try Virtue or Freedom - they are top 2 populated usually -
For anyone thats interested, I will be putting together a strike force to do Barracuda's bidding.
Levels 45-50
Start time around 10pm eastern / 7pm pacific.

One further thing.. Be advised that if your computer bogs down in heavier traffic areas or big city areas due to graphics, you may find yourself dropping before you can TP again. Personally, Im not a big fan of it. I have it on a stone brute but only got it for the Lord Recluse Strike Force runs. To try and travel with it can sometimes be more trouble than its worth for me. I just buy the ol jet packs or use my GvE jet pack when I travel on him now. When I do use it, I TP straight up before starting off the direction I want to go. That way I can minimize a lot of the graphix content and make travel faster.

You just need to open (i.e. pay for) another account and have different log-ins.
Edit - dont forget that you will also have to wait for all the wonderful patches to be updated since the time your disc was put out so Id suggest setting this up right before bedtime and let it update overnight. -
Future Farmers of America unite.. Give up your build and favorite farming mission.
Myself I have a 50 FF/Bots and love running the Fix the Movie mission from Television contact. Set at -1 and +6 there are lots of big mobs to destroy, infamy and good drops to be found. Devouring Earth and Granites will sometimes spit out a purp or some good rare salvage. Quite enjoyable, lots of room for the pets to run around and a real nice heard area at the walled gates.
Anyone else care to give up theirs? -

Farming is a good way of doing it, but of course you need to find the right mission for your build to be able to farm it well. There are some missions that could be farmed at most levels between 25-50 but its knowing which one is right for you. As for myself, I farm with my Bots/FF mastermind on one of the TV missions (not the Don or liberate.. the one before with devouring earth and boulders and freaks for those that are interested) at -1 levels and equal to 7 enemies. I usually end up coming out with an average of 2 purple drops for every 3 runs or will get some nice level 49 drops (LotG / Numina etc) and some nice rare salvage for a couple of runs until the purples start dropping again.
Just remember that once you find that really good mission that you think fits you ( or you and a friend ) then farm it as long as you like for xp / infamy. You can always up and down the difficulty/# of enemies to make that good farm mission last a few levels.
Black Marketeering is also a nice way to make it if you have the time to spend going back and forth crafting and buying and crafting some more. I just prefer to spend my time watching the pretty lights as my bots attack and blow things up. -
Ok, I will admit that last night was a little more activity than I have been seeing. Also, joined the Triumph TF channel and saw 19 people online just on that one channel. Maybe Im just not looking in the right places. I appreciate everyones advice and opinions and Ill be on again tonite to try and get a team together.

Also, if you get to level 14 too quickly, you can dumb down OR amp up the settings for how tough the missions are (levels and amount of enemies) which should allow you to make the game progress slower for you, and also allow you to do multiple contacts at all levels without out-leveling them. -
Im usually on Freedom but one of my favorite toons is over on Triumph along with the longstanding (but very empty) VG I belong to. Recently Ive jumped back over to Triumph to play this toon some more, but hardly anyone is around. I did a search last night about 9pm central to see who was on that was viewable, and I swear from levels 1 - 50 there were maybe a total of 25 people on the list. Dont get me wrong, there may have been 25 more on hide, but that is still extremely empty. Sad really... Sorry - just ranting a little. When I first got into CoV in 2006 it was constant activity on this server. Not anymore.
Hard to find anyone to team with, let alone to try and form TFs -

First off, the Login Server where you login to the game, or the updater which updates the game (the one where you accept the EULA)? If it's the latter, that's been happening to some people, and can be bypassed (assuming no patches are out) by running:

For windows, I'd recommend just copying the command, pressing Windows key + R (to bring up the Run command dialog), pasting it in, then pressing OK. On OSX, I believe you need to go into the Applications folder, then the Utilities subfolder, and then run 'Terminal.app', then copy the command, paste it into the terminal, and press Enter to run it.
All of those commands assume you used the default installation directory, and will bypass the updater. If your client's version is not full up to date, you'll be unable to login successfully (you'll get a version mismatch error). -
Anyone know if there is an active VG out there mostly composed of masterminds ? I enjoy the VG Im with currently with, but rarely does anyone want a MM on their team to run missions or task force arcs. And I really enjoy playing my MMs... Any helpful info would be appreciated.

Anyone know overall which of these is a faster or better rate of recovery?
Im planning out my build, and I currently have quick recovery 4 slotted and stamina 5 slotted.
Basically, if quick recovery isnt all that great, Id rather just add a 6th slot to stamina and downsize quick recovery to 2 and throw that last slot somwhere else.
BUT - If it is a nice power, should I swap it out so that quick recovery is 6 slotted and I drop my stamina down to 2 and then use that slot somewhere else.

I'm just wondering if anyone has ever tried to put together an entire team of MMs to attempt the ITF and if so was the TF completed?
I know for some people the lag might be too much, but for those with a system built strictly for gaming it shouldnt be too bad (except possibly in the caves of the first mish).
I'm thinking of trying to put together a team via the boards to run this with nothing but MMs (especially since few MMs ever get invited to attempt the ITF) but if it turns out to have 'ultimate fail' written all over it, well... I might have to rethink my plans.
Thoughts? Opinions? -

And to be honest, since Ive just gotten back into the game, and when I left it the invention stuff was fairly new... I hadnt really thought about what he is saying.. True that there is little point in looking for something as small as a 4 or 5% bonus to (such as the example he used) toxic. Ok, anyone have any suggestions for a good starting AE mission for my Bots/FF mastermind?
Something that may be challenging but not overly difficult perhaps?
It will be my first time trying out an AE mission since Im a returning player from a 2 year vacation from the game and I really dont want to go in and blindly choose a mission that is painfully difficult, or even worse, painfully boring.
Suggestions anyone? -
