Faultline was an unused trial zone. For all intents and purposes, a hazard zone. Now it's more story focused.
Hazard Zones have far larger spawns than normal. This is no longer the case in these zones.

Redside just needs some clean up done. Make Archanos can take a tip from the Praetorians and make cleaning droids. It does not need more zones.
  2. Some sets have procs and/or Uniques. As most people know Procs are not good in "Aura" type powers, and Uniques mean you can only slot one of that type.

    Example 1
The current setup limits use to 1 full set of Gaussian's, as the Chance for Build up Proc is Unique. If there was another one in the set, let say a Guassian's "Recharge" similar to Adjusted Targeting or Doctored Wounds,

    Guassian's:
    1. To Hit
    2. To Hit / Recharge
    3. To Hit / Recharge / End Redux
    4. Recharge / End Redux
    5. To Hit / End Redux
    6. Chance for Build up
    7. Recharge

    Example 2
Malaise Illusions Chance for Psi, a Mind Dom/Controller would not use the Proc because it causes Aggro if there was another recipe that could be used and give the full set bonus, it would be nice.

You still could slot 6 of the 7, but it adds more slotting options with the same bonuses.
  3. The RWZ mission where you go to the Cap Power station to destroy the bombs and save some Hostages. One of the Hostages "At least it wasn't the Vahzilok"

    Ban Zoning

    Unnecessary Zoning 15 yard Penalty

I am Glad that there are not that many zones Redside. Travel will be a bit better when i20 comes out with the 2nd Black Helicopter spot in Nerva and GV. This was by design, because the devs realized the mistake they made Blue Side. 2 x 1-6 , 2 x 10-19, 2 x 20-30, 2 x 30-40, not to mention all the hazard zones. They even tried to correct that by make 2 of them into psuedo hazard zones (Hollows and Faultline).

So the Next time you see a post that asks for more Zones "just for one side" vote no. Co-Op zones add expansion.
  5. I am usually a villain, but usually up for just about anything most of the time.
  6. A long time ago, The Legacy chain mission was removed. (I don't remember an Archanos mission being there, but it may have been). For the longest time this/these mission(s) had been removed. Today I ran it, and they were back in the SF. But from what I remember the Legacy chain mission used to be right before the last mission. (Bad memory here) But now they have been added after the first hunt.

It feels like I am running a Hero TF now with all the Zoning. Shark, Nerva, Shark, Mercy, Nervax3, Mercy, Sharkx2. and to make matters worse the Merits were not adjusted after they added the missions.

So I look in the Patch Notes, I could not remember the last time I ran this SF. So I went Back to the i19 notes. Nothing mentions this change in any patch Notes from i19 to now. Does any one know when this change was made? and why the Merits were not adjusted?
  7. No Katie
    No Cap
No Shard stuff (This is a good thing if you ask me)
No Citedal (Too much grind there, good choice)
  8. The Whole game has always been a grind. Especially for the badgers, and some hero missions. Defeat X number of Group X. Zone 50 times to complete an Arc. Do I have to mention Shard TFs. Goto this area and defeat 50x, do mission... This is normal things in game and it is a grind.

You want merits for recipes or other rewards, you grind TFs. You want Purples, you grind by killing lvl 47+ mobs, you want Alignment Merits you grind to get and do tips. You want accolades, you grind...

So what is different about the the new Trials, really nothing just somehting else to grind.
  9. APRIL 2011

April 5th to April 11th - Time’s Arrow (from Imperious in Cimerora)

April 12th to April 18th - Clamor and Destruction (from Sister Psyche in Independence Port) / Pirates of the Skies (from Silver Mantis in Sharkhead Isle or your supergroup or villaingroup base's mission computer or oracle)
  10. I have ran plenty of TFs without a tank and/or healer. The line I use is "Tanks and Healers are nice but not required"

I have seen a little bias on STF with too many melee, But not on any other regular TF run. Some people like to hate on Stalkers too, I know a couple of very good players who uses Stalkers as their main.

I was actually told once that they would prefer me not play my MM on their STF run. Told them to have fun without me. 10 minutes later I get tell from saying that I can bring my MM. My reply was the same. Have fun without me.

It is not the AT, it is the player. A team of Good players regaurdless of AT can overcome almost anything in this game.
  11. more mobs more drops.

But Technically there is no "Slider" not sure why everyone insists on calling it one.
  12. Depends on the view point... As I regularly paly Redside, I love fighting Legacy Chain and even Gold Brickers early on.
  13. It has been duo'd plenty of times before the Alpha slot. What makes a trio with Incarnates ablities so special? I don't get it.

    Thank You

It seems like everywhere you look someone is complaining about Lore Pets, Preatorians, No Ponies, etc. I just want to say thank you to the devs for all the work they have put into this game and i20. Yes I may not agree with all of it, but I do appreciate the work you guys and gals are doing.

    Thank You
    A Customer

PS - When can we buy the "My Little Nemesis Pony"

    Catch-22

    You need more Villains.

    I quit counting a long time ago. I started a new count, 12 lvl 50 +1 and 9 with tier 4's
  17. The only real problem I have with most CC's, is they are held Blue side. So then to enter a villain I would have to take it Rogue.

But I try to make most CC's. Prizes are nice, but not required.
  18. I win.... Fallout is the best and coolest looking power

    I hate myself!

There are good and bad things with the end game. The one thing that I don't understand is why is all the Praetorian stuff Heroes or Co-Op, none of it involves just villains.

A nice Arc of SF about the Villains luring in the Praetorians into a "truce of some sort" only to betray and steal there "Items of Power" whether they be magical or technological.

I do think the end game should incorporate more than just the Praetorians.

One other point I'd like to make all Judgement Powers should be made to work with weapons and/or shield (an alt animation choice). This whay they power can come from our items and not us. We can remain some what "Natural Human" and just have a powerful item.

That reminds me. I was on a team doing Ice Mistral SF. I was playing my brute, apparrently I was confused, right before I used Lightning Rod, I ended up killing a Dominator and Corruptor. I ended up dying myself because I was laughing so hard.

Getting extra time also gets harder the bigger your team is, since you need to destroy more stuff, and at the mid-levels you often can't defeat the PPD spawns in 30 seconds. Safeguards are more straight-forward.

The EBs and AVs redside also tend to hit harder than their blueside counterparts, and villain ATs often sacrifice survivability for kill speed. If you play a game of "kill it before it can kill you" with an EB, you will lose.

Arachnos is both tougher and easier. Tougher because no matter what your particular weakness is, they WILL have a mob that exploits it. Easier because once you kill that mob, you're fine. Those annoying Nullifiers are designed to mess everybody up, and because that's the only lieutenant they have, there's a lot of them. And once you start getting into the Wardens, they're just as bad as any Arachnos boss.
If you have to have a tank and healer on your villain team, then you don't know how to play redside. I have been on plenty of teams with people that are use to playing heroes. Most refuse to change their brain washed mind set, until you prove them wrong. I know plenty of Stalker that are great players and assets to the team. again, don't sterotype an AT. Better than a Defender with just one attack.

#1 rule of Mayhem mission small or no team(s).

EB/AVs I do this all the time, pop a couple of inspirations and jump in. I have no problems.

Archnos and Longbow both are a pain. I Prefer to fight Longbow, unless Balista's are involved. I hate those things.

    Your Top 5

Just a comment on Illusions. I think it would port to MM better than to Doms. With the lack of control powers, it would take a long time to build domination solo. But in making it a MM set, Decoys would have to be made to take damage and a second tier pet would need to be added. Even if they made Mobile SPectral Terrors, that would be too strong I think.
  23. 1. Villain ATs were built to solo better than Hero ATs.

    2. Most Blue side teams work more for balanced teams and have the mindset we need a tank, a healer, etc, where as Redside is built more on the premise of kill it before it can hurt you. Doms and Brutes benefit from a faster pace, which is not always the case Blue side. An MM can actually make up for the lack of an AT, with buff, debuffs, pets to take aggro, and BG Mode.

    3. Most Heroes don't know how to do a Mayhem mission. The run strait to the Bank like a Safeguard. THis triggers ambushes, and the ambushes will follow you to the bank. If you fly or jump too high near the banks in higher level missions, you will also trigger longbow eagles to swarm in on you. A Mayhem mission, walk from mob to mob and do side missions for extra time, also you get extra time for each PPD mob, and destructable enviornment.

    4. Yes there are more EB/AV encounters redside, but as mentioned above, the red toons are built better for solo play.

    5. IMO Archanos is tougher than Longbow with varied resistances and varied damage. Not saying those annoying Nullfiers and Spec Ops. The one thing I hate is all the -jump and -fly from these.

But yes the Redside is a little tougher and requires different tactics than blue sde. But Redside has better written storys, shorter arcs and less zoning.
