    Regarding how to slot siphon life, your needs will dictate how to slot, before your defenses are fully slotted you will probably want to up the healing aspects, but after your secondary is slotted, you will probably won't need as much healing and can slot for damage and still get enough healing to make back any health you lose from incoming hits that make it through your defenses.
    Not sure why you are taking so much damage though. SD does have a good taunt aspect so you can expect to be pounded on, but you should also be seeing quite a few misses.
    There are a couple of powers that provide 2 aspects, slotting the wrong aspect first could lead to you feeling understrength.
    If there are no guides in the Brutes section take a peek over at Scrappers, there are lots of guides there.
    Trust me you have a great combo, stick with it.
    I couldn't find his slotting, just the scrapper posts he talks about. I am curious to see.

    Questions: In Deflection i had the 3 defense and 2 resistance, is that a waste of two slots?
    Also in True Grit I had the 6 slots, but I only need the heal? It doesn't hurt to have the extras does it?
    I don't need Grant Cover?
    Do you put brawl on auto or active defense?

    At the Fateweaver I set my difficulty to 3 player spawns, +1 above my level. Is that too much at level 32.. this early in?



    Oh one more thing I forgot, do i have to take combat jumping and the travel power? Could I take like air superiority and flight or do i even need that stuff? I get teleported around and when I solo I don't really mind running to places or using the jet packs, especially since I can build those from all the recipes dropping now in Going Rogue. I think I have like 9 of those. Should be okay, so thought I'd ask.

    Hey, also out of curiosity what would be a good build with sets look like? I don't know if I can even afford it but I'd like to know what to hold onto or keep an eye out for as I play, in the unlikely but slightly possible event that I can put sets into it.

    I play mostly alone, but now and then I duo, and occasionally a third friend will be there.
    Right now I am unsure why i am taking so much damage.

    I have shadow maul, smite, midnight grasp, soul drain and the warshade like buff power.
    I have every shield power so far.

    I want to fit in tough and weave but I don't know if i will be able to run toggles like that.
    I don't ever get the best sets or even a set for every power, but on this one I might be able to get some average stuff.

    I also have hasten because I need to heal that much I need that heal up quick. Then of course swift, health, stamina. Also I have no travel powers. My friend teleports me when I am not using ninja run+sprint.
  4. I have questions if anyone can help. I got to 33 on this and the playstyle still feels slow and just off. I mean with shield defense's shield charge I am hoping it makes it at least feel close to super strength for me (shield charge being like stomp I hope) but I am unsure if I should even keep going with this thing?

    Also kind of confused on the heal. I have seen some posts where people slot it for damage and I really want to be able to heal without having to play wp or fire or electric armor again. I won't be getting sets for a very long time so what is a good slotting for this to be able to heal? I thought with shield defense I'd be able to survive better but it's rough. I don't really have the endurance to run everything. Any shield powers okay to skip?

  6. We should be able to DUO all of them, grouping is so 2005-2009. I mean still even with Going Rogue released, at 4-6 am no one is really on ever. I'll never get these things done.
  7. wait if you go vigilante, can you do the ghost widow arc? I wasn't sure if I had to go the full spectrum or not.
  8. KM/WP I hit 43 yesterday. I can do x6 person spawns, even 8 (but not on a lot of things) fine. it's pretty fast too with hasten and I have no sets yet. Just feels good like SS/WP did. I wish it could have been a brute, but I have almost one of every scrapper, this one is my favorite. I am at the point I want to respec some earlier stuff out. Not sure what would be wise.
  9. I don't know how people can afford ios on so many characters other than for the final 50 slotting. I mean I have work and stuff, playing at 15-20 min bursts now and then, never was able to get far in crafting and money sucks in this game like all mmos.
  10. If I go to change any of my 50s main costumes in the belts section none of the new belts from Going Rogue show up.

    If I go and load up a differen costume for that character (but some don't work with this) the belts show up. Not sure what other pieces are affected like this.

    I tried to save my main look to my costumes, then remake the costume by loading that main look into a different costume slot even on a different character, and it still won't show the new belts with that specific outfit even if i remove it completely from the costume.
  11. amateurs in control. How do i lose slots i had gained as vet rewards actually in 08. Store tied to the slots, how does it make sense? Am i going to walk around matt's house and rip all his shorts down cause walmart is closed?

    In the end it looks like micromanaging nerfs more than global ones now. If that is the case, I would be a more favorible if they just stopped nerfing.
    they want us to go play other mmos, it's like they recommending it personally. hilarious and sad management of the game. And I used to think this game was the best. Nothing makes sense.

  15. No there are costume pieces missing. A lot of the Going Rogue stuff in test is not in the tailor at all. Like the belts is a good example of where to look. Also the pre-orders I had access to new auras.. i dont seem to have access to anymore on live.
  16. Same problem with me. Also some of the costume pieces from test (for going rogue) are missing on live... as well as any preorder auras.
  17. My build has one problem - 28.1 HP (1.88%) HitPoints (Exceeded 5 Bonus Cap)

    Is this a problem at all? There is really no other way to work this build. What will happen exactly? I never ran into this problem before, so I never really knew. Should I be worried? Thanks to anyone who can answer.
  18. actually I had an hp based WP build and the one with the regen does a lot better for me. I've been having some weird problems lately not related to that but just a feeling like i have no enhancements in, might be the architect.

    Anyway with like stomp, air superiority and knockout blow, those times enemies go down or from the ghost widow attacks and them missing me, i regen 100s of hp a second so it helps a lot in that way, if you have knockdown anyway. Although my other build which had nearly nothing for knockdown and just a lot of hp, seemed to suffer and it had higher defense bonuses. It's so confusing.
  19. They are AE but they are actually really hard. I make stuff impossibly hard for myself heh.

    They are purples.I seem to do better against reds. Even with my accuracy bonus sometimes I just can't hit them enough unless i use rage (when purple ebs.)
  20. well if you could be so kind as to take a look at mine. Mine was like a killing machine that was unstoppable but these past few weeks something odd.. like the sets aren't working right suddenly.
  21. i actually posted this in another thread, that no ones helping me out but this build I did about a year ago and it worked so awesome, I never had a single problem ever. Lately it's been failing. .92 end a second btw for me is already a lot, but I make it work. It just seems like something is not working the past month and it's not performing well against a couple of EBS at a time, like it used to. Not sure what happened. Hard to respec with some of these sets I have, without losing them and like I said it worked SO well for so long. I used to go afk and let big groups of level 54s beat on me for about a minute before having to actually do anything. Anyone have any ideas? I only bring this up because you said not to do regen, but it was working so well. I mean the health bar barely moved.

  22. any ideas why this build that used to work perfectly, might not be working now?
  23. I was doing fine for a year or more with this slotting, suddenly accuracy and defense seems awful. It feels broke and it used to be something I could go into a 54 elite spawn with two ebs and go afk for like 30 seconds and come back and still be okay. Not sure what's happening here now. If anyone has any suggestions as to what suddenly after more than a year would cause this to not work right, unless it's something to do with the architect (but it's a mission I've been playing for a year fine) then please post. Not sure if some set is not working right all of the sudden either. Endurance Drain has always been at .92 a second too, which is too much for my tastes but it's been manageable with this slotting. Like i said I've loved it for over a year. Something lately is just not working though.

This stuff is good, how about selling the Roman Costume pieces now since I have like 18 50s and several more 30-40+ characters that have never done the tastkforce for that because I play at 3 or 4 am my time for about 2 hours.     oh yeah for strength of will, just putting that unique steadfast in there is enough, right? I mean the power will still work well when activated without any other enhancements?
