I Have a lot of chars as well and I remember spending nearly a full day respeccing toons (nearly because I fell alseep in my arms doing it lol). The bit I hate most is having to redo my trays
But, pretty much all my builds are better for having the extra powers so yea, lovin the new inherent fitness

I like me sum Hover. I usually three slot it, either three flight speed or, depending on the build, 2 flight and a karma.
My main, a blaster, has super speed for travel, but I use hover for combat. It was even better when power boost used to increase its flight speed as well, but I guess ya can't have everythin ^^ -
I'm in a similar boat. Quite a few 50s to choose from lol. I'm thinking initially my nrg/nrg blaster: my first 50 so its got that sentimental attachment goin on, and I enjoy playin it. Plus, more damage on a blaster!

Quote:But, if you were going to do this for purple recipies (30 Hero Merits a Pop), It would take you the better part of a year (300 days) to farm the Merits for a full purple set...ouchWith hero merits it becomes kind of moot I think. I'm just doing endless Hero Merit loops, picking up prime recipes every 2 or 4 days (some cost 1 hero merit, others 2). If I still have time to kill after hitting the daily alignment mission cap I either do something to earn normal merits (ouro is good for this, or a fast TF) or log a different character for a while.
I tend to buy the recipes that only require 125 normal merits or so with normal merits and the more unreasonable expenditures I get with hero merits. If I need some fillers to complete a set and they are cheap on the market, I'll pick them up with influence.
I'm most of the way thru a very expensive build doing this. Other than the monotony of doing the same missions over and over its painless.

Correction, I calculated as if there were 5 in a set, should be 360 days...more ouch -
Quote:I'm led to believe that the salvage etc is locked to one character so we won't be able to email them between chars. Now if they're not locked to a character, you could potentially e-mail some of these around between characters that you were playing. I have to imagine they would make that hard to do or not possible (maybe like build shifting, which is on a timer), but who knows... there are still 8 Very Rare levels, which I can only imagine would take an extremely long time to get.

I'm sure there are many (maybe even me ^^) who would like to replace all knockback with knockdown lol

I think I agree on this one as well. I've played dark blast twice to 50. Each time i initially took life drain thinking it'd be nice to have that extra heal, but then I never really needed it (being kin both times lol) and respecd it out. A damage boost on it would make me consider putting it back into my attack chain.
In general though, I don't see many dark blast players around...

Sonic is sooo valuable for teams. I was on quite a few Master-Of runs not too long ago, and the ones with a Sonic Def were soo much easier, we flew through MO Khan

I don't post nearly enough. But I felt compelled to say...
